Mythos Taverna brings you on a trip to Greece & the islands, serving authentic dishes from across the region in beautiful Mediterranean surroundings.

Located in the famous Arcadian, just outside the Hippodrome with a beautiful heated terrace on theatre square, Mythos brings a true flavour of Greece to Birmingham.

Serving dishes such as marinated souvlaki grilled over our traditional Greek charcoal & a range of ‘mezze’ dishes such as hummus and the famous Greek feta salad along with a range of rose and syrup soaked pastries to finish.

Our wine selection has been sourced from all over Greece and we have a range of Greek beers and spirits. Be sure to visit Mythos for a true Greek experience & a taste of true Greek Hospitality.

    Had a lovely meal before going to the theatre, staff were friendly and accomadating splitting the bill between four of us, nice food and plenty of it.

    The restaurant was quiet on our arrival, so somewhat surprised and frustrated that we had to wait 50 minutes for our starter, with no explanation or apology for the wait. The meal then ended up being rushed as we had to get to the theatre. It was only at the end when paying the bill was an apology and explanation for the delay was given. The food was good, perhaps consider offering an alternative to chips, they are far too filling.

    This is a wonderful restaurant for a meal that whilst not cheap is excellent and a worthwhile treat. We had spanakopita, stifado, stuffed peppers baklavas and ice cream followed by coffee. Oh, and a bottle of Piroga. Beautiful. The staff are helpful, attentive and knowledgable concerning gluten that is important to my wife. Will we go back? Definitely.

    We had the most amazing food at Mythos. The service was fantastic. The restaurant is so lovely and felt like we were in Greece. This is my second visit and would definitely recommend, especially before visiting the hippodrome.

    Really interesting menu, good food and quality. Great vegetarian selection too. Service good, relaxed atmosphere at lunchtime. Nice to sit out in terrace for a change. Great mix of food for all. Portion size gooof. Will definitely be back again.
