   Went for brunch on Sunday. Food was delicious and so many choices! It was noisy but I enjoyed the energy of the other diners on a beautiful Spring morning.

   I made a reservation for 10 for brunch, and when we arrived we were informed that Mythos does not usually accept reservations for Sunday brunches, but since we did it through open table it "snuck" through. It was very odd, as I made the reservation without issue; if the restaurant does not accept reservations on a Sunday, perhaps they should have closed out their availability? We were not seated for over a half hour past the reservation time. One member of our party did not get his meal until 45 minutes after everyone else, and I am pretty sure he would not have gotten his food if he did not ask for it a third time. When our bill arrived we were charged for an extra breakfast and coffee. The only positive experience we had was that our waitress was very friendly. The food was fine, but with that kind of experience I am in no rush to go back.

   Mythos is a good Greek-style coffee shop/restaurant where I have eaten many times. I noticed recently that they were on Open Table and made a reservation for a Sunday at lunch time, when I know they are busy. When I arrived and told the waitress I had a reservation via Open Table, she said: "oh, we're not using Open Table today," with the result that I had to wait with everyone else even though I had a reservation. So if you make a reservation using Open Table, don't assume they will honor it.

   Only wine/beer, no liquor, so we ordered a bottle of wine. Expectations weren't too high to start, but the wine was very sweet and syrupy. Stick to beer. Had the lamb shank - usually my favorite dish. The lamb was perfectly cooked - fall off the bone - quality, but the sauce it was cooked in wasn't as flavorful. Took the rest home - the portions are large! - and doctored up for better result. Friend had one of the specials dish - cioppino like meal that was OK. Service was nice.

   I went there with my husband and got an excellent service. Both of our dishes were very tasty. Our waitress was super cool. Keep it up!

   Mythos is mostly American but has a number of Greek dishes on the menu. I like the lamb chops. Well marinated and flavorful, and very fairly priced. Accompanying rice was also delicious, and the Greek salad that also came was bountiful but more or less averages. Companion had an excellent chicken and beef mixed grill. Would go back.

   The place was great: food was excellent, atmosphere great, and reserving through Open Table cut our wait time from almost 2 hours, to about 15 minutes. The only issue was the cold. It was so cold inside, that we had to wear our coats...

    We were not disappointed by our experience at Mythos. The food was delicious and generous in portion, the service was good, and the window table we had afforded us a view of the trendy and diverse neighborhood. We started with a wonderful spanikopita appetizer, which, even shared by two people, was so large that we took some home. Our salad, which was part of the meal (we chose the Greek salad) was composed of crisp lettuce, savory croutons, thinly sliced onions, peppers, cucumber, and ripe tomato wedges-especially good with the Greek dressing, a cruet of which was placed on each table. My husband then had Shrimp Fettucine Alfredo, seasoned just right. I enjoyed the grilled liver with bacon, onions, potatoes, and spring vegetables. A+
