Fun place with surprising amount of seating inside. Great staff and great food! Highly recommend and will definitely go back!
Amazing food, charismatic staff, great atmosphere! The steak we had was cooked perfectly and had the best flavor!! We will definitely come back soon!
All around excellent! Not your ordinary dining experience.
Mystic has a great ambiance, good food, in selection, quantity and preparation, very good wine and beer, good service, and I love their creme brulee.
First really bad experience we have ever had at Mystic over many years. Got ignored after we were seated. One of the adjacent waitresses finally stopped at our table, apologized and got us drinks. The order I placed was completely ignored. Sauce on the side wasn’t. It was on the scallops. Hold the rice, not, it was in the middle of my plate. Jumbo scallops were more the size of sea scallops. Dinner salad was some greens with three cherry tomatoes.
My wife’s meal was a butterflied pork chop which was just absolutely uneatable.
Don’t know what has happened at Mystic. Know things have been tough lately but they need to straighten up.
4 of us had a nice lunch and our server was super great! The food was great as well. I like the menu selections available here, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, and the staff is attentive and so nice.
Breakfast with girl friends at its best. Unique, quality food dishes with a relaxing, unrushed atmosphere first thing in the morning.
The food was really good, as well as the service. My biggest complaint was the latte. I sat behind the batista, so I was aware that it was being made, and it didn't sit at the counter. It was brought straight out to me. But it was COLD. I have seen other reviews saying the same. For a place advertised as a coffee shop, I thought this was unacceptable.
Food, ambiance and service was great. But we were most impressed by the Manager. When we got home, my husband couldn't find his phone. He remembered putting it on the table. So he went back to Mystic. They hadn't found the phone. So the Manager pulled their video footage, which showed my husband picking up his phone and putting it in the inside pocket of his jacket. He came home and found his phone in the laundry basket, in our closet! When he hung up his coat, the phone fell out - into the laundry basket.
Our dining experience at the Mystic cafe was one ow the best in recent times. We will return and also recommend it to others. Thank you Mystic. Gerald Moore
It was good food and we were very happy they were open on a Sunday
It was Date Night and the restaurant set up our table with a special tablecloth and candles. It was a very sweet, pleasant surprise. It was quiet and private. The wait staff was very good. Overall, a very enjoyable night out.
The Mystic has great food at great prices! The staff is so pleasant and talented. I enjoy being able to choose a local wine to drink. The specials are always a go to for me and having GF options makes life a whole lot easier.
I appreciate their positive attitude and diligence during the pandemic.
I had high hopes for this restaurant. We are from Oregon and restaurants do a lot of locally grown food so this restaurant seemed like someplace we would love. My husband had the bone-in Ribeye which he said was good. I ordered the gnocchi which is one of my favorite foods. It was too salty to even eat as well as being overcooked.
We had to ask twice for bread and the waiter never came back to see if we needed more water. He acted as though we were an imposition by being there.
The restaurant itself was really pretty and could be an amazing place for a date. For us, it was just disappointing.
Hanna was just amazing at helping us pull off our surprise birthday party for my daughter! She went above and beyond to help me hide the cupcakes and presents, and her repeated checks of our drinks and food was some of the best we've ever seen! All the staff we encountered were so willing to assist me with my medical limitations- from the lift to extra chairs... I 😍love😍 Mystic Cafe staff!!😊
Love the dinner menu and ambience. Staff professional and courteous
The food was excellent and quick. I’m sure we’ll be back.
Great place! Great service Great Food! We love it so much!
Great place would definitely recommend. I will be dining here again soon.
Our server was great:) food was good and loved loved loved the building! Will be back for sure!
Excellent, fast reservation and service! Ric is the BEST server! Personable, efficient, and accommodating. Love the outside dining option. Never had to go inside for anything, which is helpful during a pandemic. Servers were masked up and even gloved up at times. Everything is clean and the food is delicious!
We have been hesitant to dine out during COVID and live in a more rural area with low numbers. We were passing through town on our 15th wedding anniversary and had heard good things about Mystic Cafe. We were pleasantly surprised by all of it. Great food; I had halibut, lightly crusted with a risotto. It was cooked perfectly. My husband had a chicken tortellini with a delicious sauce. Good beer selection on tap as well as wines. Atmosphere was great, tables were spaced out well. Servers were masked and serivce was excellant. Felt like owners/staff are taking COVID-19 seriously and did a great job to make sure everything is clean and adequately spaced. We were very happy with the experience and food!
Our dinners were exceptional perfection. Absolutely love their food, wine selections and staff.
First night done in was open after C-19 closure. Fantastic food, service, etc. Thank you for a great experience!
Valentine's Day Dinner was great. It was a set menu, with a few choices. The appetizer was fabulous. Hummus, veggies, roast duck and ahi tuna. I always love Mystic Salads. I had gnocchi for my main course and loved it. My Hubs always says that Mystic steak is very good. Josh was our waiter and he was so much fun!
Great variety atmosphere, food and value
Would definitely go there again when passing through Lewiston
We had dinner with friends to listen to the live music. Every dish we had was spot on.... from the rib eye steak to the halibut to the steak salad and the chicken tortellini. Everyone at the table commented their food was cooked just right and the flavors wonderful. The mushroom soup is the absolute best I have had anywhere!!!
Our group enjoyed the great food and service at mystic!
Spent New Years Eve with friends. They were very busy, but drinks, appetizers and food were served perfectly spaced and we did not feel rushed at all. Food was excellent. Our server was very friendly and met every need. Thank You Mystic Cafe!
We enjoyed our dining experience at the Mystic Cafe. It would've improved our experience if our table was more private.
Great sandwiches! Awesome BLT and grilled cheese. Our kiddos order waffles off of the regular menu. (They have children’s menu, but waffles were not on it) Then we were surprised when the bill came, as they charged us for two 1/2 orders of waffles for our kids, which was very cool. Along with the sandwiches, you get soup, salad or fries. We ordered the fries and the potatoe-bacon soup, which was delicious! Great lunch for grandparents and kids. Design aesthetic is rustic, With lots of stuffed wildlife, and some fun paintings on the walls.
The sole of the fresh sheet was okay, could not taste the red curry sauce, bland. We ordered the bone in ribeye with the horseradish hollandaise. The steak was cooked well with great seasoning, the hollandaise...not good.
Our server rushed us. We bought a bottle of wine and wanted to have a glass and listen to jazz, then order. Our server just kept pushing and pushing for us to order. From the time we sat down till we left, it was maybe an hour.
Just not the place for us.
I have eaten at Mystic Cafe twice and both times I found the food to be delicious and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to or through Lewiston.
Food was amazing!!! Can't wait to go back!!
Everything about Mystic Café is excellent. We were there on Jazz night, so it was a little loud, but that was expected. I only point this out in case there are others that like a quieter atmosphere. Also there were other areas to sit where the music would have been quieter.
The food, service, everything was excellent. I took one star off for the food only because my son ordered
a dish that he stated was very good, but a bit too much oil/butter. The halibut was very good, as was the pork chop. Everything was cooked perfectly! Have been there for breakfast also and have never been disappointed.
As for dessert, the cheesecake is yummy!
I know it was mother’s Day but It took 1.5 hours for food to show up and 45 minutes for a refill check on drinks. I would understand 1 hour on food but it was almost 11 am with a 9:30 reservation. No explanation from staff as they only waited on us 2 times in 2.5 hours. Food was excellent but service not what I expected for having a reservation.
Treated out of town friends to a very tasty meal. Super nice service. Definitely will be back. Thanks for a fun meal.
Good spot for a quick meal, lots of options, busy street, very noisy . Food was "tasty"
Servers are lazy and inattentive. Long waits between visits!!
Food was just so so.
