MyMoon Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
We were literally the first people in the restaurant and the only people there during our entire dinner, so it was nice and quiet and the service was great. The food was delicious, but the portions of the appetizers may have been a bit painful if we didn't have a gift card to use up.
Unfortunately, we were running late and made it there right before the kitchen was closing. They were very accommodating and stayed open. They didn't rush us. I had been wanting to try it for a long time so I chose it to celebrate my birthday with my friends. The circumstances didn't allow me to get a feel for the vibe since it was late but the ambiance made up for it.
This place was AWESOME!!! The food was AMAZING with a lot of great vegetarian options. The interior was so beautiful and cool, but we opted to sit outside, which was just as beautiful. It was so spacious and not at all crowded, which was extremely surprising for such a nice place in the middle of Williamsburg. I will DEFINITELY be back!
beautiful decor and interior - very dramatic and romantic. service was great for our special occasion. food was hit and miss. 'crispy brussel sprouts' were very soggy and not crispy but the croquettes were very good. seafood paella was decent. enjoyed our drinks!
The worst paella I have ever had in my life. Rest of the food- average.
Service - ok minus. waited 15min to sit. service bit slow. waiter forgot to bring main courses and when he did we had to send the pallea (or their rice with ketchup version of it) back.
Dessert - average.
Wouldn't go back.
Worth going for a drink or renting the space for an event (if u can bring your own chef - as it is beautiful).
Christmas Eve family dinner. None of us had been to MyMoon before so we didn't know what to expect. We loved the room and ambience the minute we walked in. The menu is Spanish tapas and we ordered many rounds of tapas and dessert. We weren't disappointed with any plate, all items were expertly executed and plated. It was a quiet night so I can't comment on the noise level, however I will definitely go back again.
It's a good place with a good food. Service was very good and staff provided an excellent food suggestions. But it took a while to get our drinks. It shouldn't take 15 minutes to make one drink . The place wasn't packed, I guess there was short on the bartenders . Overall we had a good time.
Food was excellent, decor was really nice and service was spectacular. My only worry is that it was empty, not sure why given those characteristics and that it was a Friday night. My only guess could be that it was the first really cold night of the year, so maybe people stayed home. Highly recommend for all occasions, especially considering that apparently you can have an awesome restaurant to yourself.
I came to My Moon to celebrate my 27th birthday with my family. We were a small group of four. We were seated in a lovely half moon booth. I had reservations so we were seated rather quickly. The ambience was great, just a BEAUTIFUL place to be in. The service was good, our waiter was polite & very helpful with guiding us on which appetizers were best. We had bread with a delicious "paste," as well as chicken & beef Empanadas. For our entree, my mother & I shared the Seafood Paella for two (yummy), my sister had the Salmon, & my brother-in-law had the skirt steak, there were no complaints! We all enjoyed our food! We also ordered the white Passion Fruit Sangria. Another item on the menu that was tasteful! Although I was too full to try one of their desserts, next time around I will. Overall, we had a good experience.
First thing I noticed upon entering was a beautiful, re-purposed industrial space that was transformed into a gorgeous dining room. Brick walls, really pretty ambient lighting. We ordered a selection of small plates (five items) but, four would have been plenty for the two of us. Delicious mojitos started us off. There is a wonderful outdoor space, but alas, it was rainy and cold when we went so we didn't get to experience it, but from walking past it, it looked just as well designed as the interior. Recommended!
