MyMoon Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Lovely place with high ceilings, like an old warehouse. Greeted warmly on Valentine Day and seated at a small table with no fresh flowers and no tablecloth. Received a complimentary Valentine welcome sparkling wine. It was dry and totally flat. Bread was focaccia and was good. Ordered a beet and goat cheese salad to start and the specialty of the house, seafood paella for two. The server brought both the appetizer and the main course at the same time and tried to put them on the tiny table. We sent main course back so we could eat the appetizer first. The salad was tasteless with two small rounds of goat cheese and two small rounds of beets . The beets tasted no different than if they came from a can. When we finally received the main course, the paella rice was disappointing, and not like spanish soccarat at all. The dish consisted of maybe 6 mussels, 6 tiny clams, some nicely cooked calamari , and some tasteless shrimp. It was a listed as a portion for two, at $60, 33% more than the regular menu price. The portion was too small for two people, and my wife is petite. She was hungry. As far of as the service, when they were around,, which was not often, they were friendly. No one came over and asked how the food was. No one came over and asked if the Cote du Rhone I ordered was good. It wasn't and I had to sent it back and get a better Spanish wine. No one paid any attention.
The space is great - clean, good lighting, high ceilings, well decorated, etc. But that’s what you’re paying for. The food was so bland and tasteless, and it was not cheap at all. Dinner for two runs about $150... what you’d expect for a nice dinner in NYC, but this isn’t a nice dinner. Service was good - no issues with the people, but the food has got to be better for a price tag in that range
We had a great time at MyMoon. We were there to look at the space for our wedding, but stayed for dinner and drinks. The food and drinks were amazing, and the people there were all friendly and inviting. This is a great spot for a small dinner up to a large group; can't suggest enough!
We were literally the first people in the restaurant and the only people there during our entire dinner, so it was nice and quiet and the service was great. The food was delicious, but the portions of the appetizers may have been a bit painful if we didn't have a gift card to use up.
Unfortunately, we were running late and made it there right before the kitchen was closing. They were very accommodating and stayed open. They didn't rush us. I had been wanting to try it for a long time so I chose it to celebrate my birthday with my friends. The circumstances didn't allow me to get a feel for the vibe since it was late but the ambiance made up for it.
This place was AWESOME!!! The food was AMAZING with a lot of great vegetarian options. The interior was so beautiful and cool, but we opted to sit outside, which was just as beautiful. It was so spacious and not at all crowded, which was extremely surprising for such a nice place in the middle of Williamsburg. I will DEFINITELY be back!
beautiful decor and interior - very dramatic and romantic. service was great for our special occasion. food was hit and miss. 'crispy brussel sprouts' were very soggy and not crispy but the croquettes were very good. seafood paella was decent. enjoyed our drinks!
The worst paella I have ever had in my life. Rest of the food- average.
Service - ok minus. waited 15min to sit. service bit slow. waiter forgot to bring main courses and when he did we had to send the pallea (or their rice with ketchup version of it) back.
Dessert - average.
Wouldn't go back.
Worth going for a drink or renting the space for an event (if u can bring your own chef - as it is beautiful).
