   This is honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Bland, deep fried load of rubbish, service was slow and our food came out separately. The only thing that had any flavour was the satay sauce. Hardly any drinks on the menu were available. The place itself was filthy, which is ironic considering they had mops and cleaning products stacked up in the restaurant. When we complained at the end of the meal we were offered a £1.79 discount which I just thought was insulting. One of those experiences where I wish I’d trust my gut and walked out as soon as we walked in. The serving staff were nice so I can’t fault them there, but I can’t see the place lasting 6 months from what I saw tonight.

   We had been for lunch shortly after this restaurant opened and it was really lovely with amazing food , great atmosphere and attentive staff. This time we found service sorely lacking ( girl behind bar who came on for evening shift was on her mobile phone ), slow delivery of food, several drinks on menu were unavailable and our food was not an acceptable standard when we considered how much we paid. The service charge was an insult . We didn’t complain at the time as didn’t want to ruin our evening out totally! But sadly we won’t be returning not that you will still be open?!

   Food was amazing especially the dessert. We had the pengat pisang for dessert and it really hit the spot after our main meals. The restaurant was very quiet during the time we went maybe due to the time or due to the heat outside. Regardless, it could have used some music, but overall the experience was still very good and we are surprised more people weren't there to enjoy some very delicious food.

   My wife and l went for lunch and had the mains platter, three very different spicy dishes and one rice dish. We also added the Mee Goreng noodles. Nicely cooked and presented. Young Vietnamese lady who served us was very personable and helpful. Only a slight , and l do mean slight down was the lack of alcoholic wine, beer and spirits which may act as an inhibitor for those diners who enjoy a glass of beer or wine with there meal. However we still had a very enjoyable lunch.

   Food was lovely … no real atmosphere in this restaurant, services was average. None alcoholic drinks which was ok , you might as well just have water ….

   When your taste buds are crying our for a Malaysian food fix, then head your way to MyMakan. The Nasi Lemak is authentic. The sambal recipe may be different from what you may have had back in Malaysia and/or Singapore but it is still appetising and compliments the dish overall. The Beef Rendang is tasty albeit the coconut rice lacked flavour. Desserts and drinks were enjoyable. If you started to compare the price you would pay for these dishes back in Malaysian you would say it is expensive to dine here.

   Fantastic food, lots of vegan & vegetarian options, and wonderful, attentive & welcoming staff. We will definitely visit again & highly recommend it :).

   Tasty Malaysian food at MyMakan, with a friendly waitress and attentive service we had very nice meal early evening before a trip to the Theatre.

    Great food at reasonable prices. This place provides a unique place to get flavours and dishes that I haven't seen at other restaurants in Norwich. The portion sizes are also good, which is always a plus! The staff have been really friendly on both occasions that I have visited.
