Mykonos Blue Grill

We are moving our office to the building across the street, saw the outdoor seating, so figured we'd give this a try for a business meeting. Until this meal we had yet to find an outstanding Greek restaurant in NYC. This was truly outstanding. First, the owner introduced himself and treated us like family, and made suggestions from the menu, adding which were his own personal/family recipes. Each and every dish was so fresh and tasty- it's apparent he prides himself on sourcing only the freshest ingredients, and preparing them in a very simple yet special way. Calamari was super fresh, tender, lightly fried. Octopus said sushi grade on the menu and certainly tasted that way, also prepared simple and cooked perfectly. Greek salad was also simple, fresh, and tasty. Baked feta was a must, as was the meat pie (this seemed to be his specialty), and also the eggplant with feta. Dessert (walnut cake and chocolate cookies) was also super fresh, light, and delicious. Embarrassed to say this was for only 3 of us- we just kept ordering. As the owner promised, dishes were not typical for Greek restaurants, also light so you don't even feel bloated afterwards (even after all that we ate!). Outdoor ambience was very pleasant, nice setting, feels like being on vacation. We are so excited to have this place right next to our new office, will definitely make it a point to come back often.
Cool enjoyed every minute
Unfortunately the rooftop restaurant was booked for a special event so we had to eat in the lobby restaurant.
Not as pretty but the food was delicious and the service excellent.
Service was exceptional, and above par. The waiters were all friendly and manager was a joy to get to know. He was extremely passionate about his food, and gave us great recommendations. We all had a meat platter with salad and extra sides. Not only did we get to experience the food, but its authenticity and rich culture. Top that off with free shots from the manager himself.
Service A+ and Food A
Food was TERRIBLE 🤨
Great food and drinks with personal recommendations from the Chef himself. We especially enjoyed the lamb chops.
in general nice and cozy place, thou not sure how much onions popular in Greek cuisine but this place have those almost everywhere. but beside that food was good.
Enjoyed the zucchini chips and kabab.
The reservation was for May 7 at noon. It became apparent that they were not open, so we spoke to our hotel manager who made arrangements at a different restaurant. The Mykonos did not open until 5. Apparently, Open Table had the wrong information. We were meeting another couple for lunch who were coming in from New Jersey, so we were concerned. Nevertheless, my husband and I decided to try it later for dinner. Not a good idea! As it is a Greek restaurant, there were items on the menu that we wanted to try. They had a red wine from Greece, and a beer also from Greece, Neither one was available. We then ordered Gyro Empanadas - what can I say - they didn't have them either. The server did not seem concerned, and spent time talking with other servers. We were the only ones in the restaurant at that time, so it was not that they were busy. All in all, it was a huge disappointment, and we would certainly not recommend this restaurant.
It was terrible.
I had high expectations for this restaurant. The manager attempted his best to appease the group; however, his efforts failed. The service was slow, things were forgotten, the entrees were not enjoyable, and overall it was an unpleasant experience.
Great service and ambiance! Perfect date night spot.
The restaurant just opened, the food was and service was very good. We definitely recommend people try it as we will definitely be back!
