It was alright. I think for the price of the food and the amount I got, I could’ve gotten a fourth taco.
Service was slow, food was good
Enjoyed our dinner very much. It was just way to noisy . Not sure if we will be back.
Everything was great. Would like happy hour specials on Saturdays alsp
We always have a great meal at my tequila house. They also have a vast variety of cocktails and margaritas! Food is fresh and good. The restaurant is clean and staff is courteous and pleasant.
We love it....everytime we go we are happy ....Food is consistent. Service good. Love the quacamole they make and bring to the table. Drinks are GREAT!
Dishes from appetizers stacked on table had to push aside to eat . Had 4 people and everyone’s dinner came out 10 minutes apart . Food was cold . My daughter ordered a vegetarian dish and there was chicken in it. It wasn’t even that busy. Last time we went there was a 30 minute wait. Not this time and it’s obvious why. Never again.
Their food and drinks are so flavorful!
Love this restaurant and the food, but this time I didn't. I don't know if is a different chef, but the food didn't taste the same. My husband and I always order a Molcajete and appetizer to share, and this time the Molcajete was dry and no has tasty as it always been. Also the chorizo that was in the plate this time, look and taste more like Italian sausage instead of Mexican chorizo, which is really good, and my favorite, there was barely cheese and sauce as it usually is. So I came to the conclusion that is definitely not the same chef, maybe I am wrong but this time I didn't like the food. Everything else was good, music as always...exceptional!!!
Food was good and more reasonable than some of the newer Mexican restaurants opening up. The guitar player was good but way too loud. We were a group of 8 and they seated us right in front of guitar player and his amp. We go out to enjoy each other’s company but could only occasionally hear
Don’t bother booking a reservation because they don’t honor them. Showed up for our 7:45pm reservation and we were told it’s an hour and a half wait
Our neighbor fav. We hop there about every month when able. Never dissatisfied or disappointed. Awesome food and drinks.
Food is always amazing, my favorite place to eat.
It was a nice place to eat however both of our meals were shy on flavor which was a little bit of a disappointment. Overall though it was good.
Love the food but the service was horrible on this visit. Waitress took order and didnt come back until we were done eating. Not very friendly and seemed annoyed when we asked for to go boxes. We never leave a restaurant without tipping but there is always a first, and this visit was it
A neighborhood fav of ours, never dissatisfied it or disappointed. Food n drinks Always great. Our server was outstanding and did a great job, always with a nice smile and politeness.
Excellent food and drinks - great service ‘
We made a reservation we called to say we were running late. The 1st woman said talk to my manager. Another woman answered the phone she said it’s not a problem. We arrived at the restaurant and the hostess said there is no reservation. The manager came over (a man), we began to explain what happened. He said you didn’t talk to me. In the meantime the hostess was speaking over me in Spanish telling him how she doesn’t have our reservation in the system etc. The manager checked their computer. He didn’t see it. I pulled up the email confirmation. They kept talking in Spanish about us (assuming we don’t understand them). They were saying it’s not our problem if the reservation isn’t in the system, we don’t have time to deal with this. The manager asked her to make room for us. She said she will not because it’s not our fault. NO one apologized! No one shared any concern or care for open tables confirmation! We left. When we tried to make another reservation via opentable we could not because we were supposedly recorded as dining at this restaurant! They were RUDE and horrible UNPROFESSIONAL!
Everything we ordered was great! From the appetizer to the entrees. Hot and flavorful. Service a bit slow, however, it was busy so it was expected. Server was attentive and polite. Definitely going back to try other items on the list.
Very good foods and good service. We love it I been here few times and will be come back
Food is amazing and always great tasting. Service was a little off but not bad. We will definitely be back
It was a busy Friday night. Great live music with a very loud crowd. Food was delicious as were the
Drinks. My only complaint was that we were 1/2 way through appetizers and the main course was already at the table with no room for plates. Felt really rushed.
The food was really food. The only complaint I have us that the did not bring all of our food out at the same time. We were only a party of 3.
We had dinner before a show at PPL Center. Our food and drinks came quickly and we had extra time to spare. 10 minute drive to PPL Ctr and we even found parking in the street.
Although it was very loud in there the food was good as was the drinks. The waitress was friendly however her help who didn’t know English was not good which made it hard to ask anyone else for anything. Was disappointed that the couple we were with we couldn’t have a conversation due to the loud music
Very much enjoyed the musician, but service was extremely slow and part of my dish came out and the other parts came out minutes later. Waitress seemed overwhelmed by the number of tables she was covering. Normally my favorite Mexican food in the valley but was definitely off there game tonight.
I ordered a Chicken Chimichanga. it contained very little chicken.
Very loud in restaurant.
Waited for waitress to come back to the table after our meal was served. Basically had to ask another waitress to get ours so we could get our check and pay
My waitress only came to the table 1 time, I waited almost through the entire meal for a refill on my drink. I just didn't feel that appreciated. The food was amazing but my waitress didn't really do anything.
Was a very enjoyable night. Valentine’s Day
The food wasn't bad but the tables, floor and silverware were dirty! The floor had spilt sauce, lettuce and chips under my seat...ewww I had to call a server to clean it up for us as I kept stepping in it. We had to change our appetizer plates they had food stains on them. It's just not worth it if you want a clean place to eat. The staff was friendly and cooperative.
The night started off so perfectly - even though the place was crowded and we got the last space in the parking lot, we were seated quickly, we ordered and received an appetizer quickly, and ordered our meal. We sat and enjoyed the live music and very laid back atmosphere. The appetizer was very good as were the drinks and chips and salsa. 10/10 experience for our first 30 minutes there.
And then we started to notice that it had been a really long time since we ordered our meal and we had seen our waitress - just under an hour since ordering. During this time tons of other food came out of the kitchen and other tables turned over. When our waitress finally came back she swore the food would be out in the next 5 minutes and apologized for the delay. 15 minutes later she came back again and apologized again that it would be a few more minutes. We just asked to wrap up our bill where we were and leave. She asked if we would like the food to go. I replied that if it's ready right now, sure, but if it's going to be more waiting, we would again just like to close out the bill and go.
Another 15 minutes later our food came out in to go bags and we paid for the entire meal and left. We had 6:30 reservations, we walked out the door around 8:20 not having eaten dinner. The food we had was good, the atmosphere was good, the live music was good, but there are clearly some serious problems with their kitchen/ordering system.
I liked the place enough that I don't want to give them 1 star and suggest no one ever go there again, I just want them to solve some solvable problems.
The food at My Tequila House is always a knockout. My girlfriend and I started with the Tropical Guacamole that included mango and cucumber in addition to the avo, red onion, lime juice, and jalapeño: always made to order, always fantastic. My girlfriend also ordered the shrimp soup, which featured a generous portion of large shrimp, rice, and guacamole (first time I'd ever seen guac in soup!).
For dinner, I ordered the Tacos Gobernador filled with shrimp, roasted poblano peppers, sautéed onions and melted Chihuahua cheese, on flour tortillas. They were rich and flavorful - definitely my favorite taco, while my girlfriend was very pleased with her Carne Asada tacos. I also enjoyed a Desert Pear margarita on the rocks - it was sweeter than I thought it would be, but had a nice flavor - and my girlfriend was thrilled with her 1800 Coconut Pineapple Margarita that tasted like a piña colada.
Our server Isabel was so sweet and so attentive. She was the very best! The live music was also great, so props to the musician they had in for the night.
Food was good and the guitar player was great! We had grand time and will return with more friends
Great food, great service, but there was a birthday party of about 10 when we arrived to celebrate our anniversary and they were totally out of hand. Not the kind of venue for such a boisterous crowd!!
Food was soo good! And live music too!
Always a excellent meal and drinks. My favorite Mexican Restaurant.
Food was barely eatable. Way way over salted- from the guacamole to the chicken and spinach Quesadilla .... drinks are inconsistent
This place used to be amazing and a favorite
Last 3 times, not so much
Best Mexican food we have had since moving to the East coast.
The food is good but the price seems really high compared to the portions
