Celebrating a daughter in law's birthday. Always a great experience at our favorite restaurant. Service and ambiance outstanding. Dave always greets us with his huge smile. He checks at the table to make sure we are pleased with our meals. Love this restaurant .

We tried their Brunch, for a change, and were not disappointed. Went with another couple. We spilt the Avocado Toast and Truffle Honey n Ricotta on baguette appetizers. Delicious!! Two of us had chicken n waffles, one had fried chicken sandwich, and finally an Eggs Benedict. We were all happy with our meals. For desert, one order of Apple Crumble, of which I only tasted the crumble which probably the best crumble consistency and flavors I ever had. One added benefit was our conversation with the owner, Dave Gallo, who we knew from a previous restaurant he co-owned. All in all, this was our 3rd dining experience at My Cousin’s and I rated their brunch as the best!

Had diner at My Cousins in Mahopac with another couple and the experience had a weird vibe. The space is a big wide open room, no real character and a bit loud. Bartender and wait staff were all amazing, super friendly and attentive. The menu is very wide ranging but way over priced for Mahopac, this isn't NYC. The biggest issue I have is the "CC service charge" of an additional 3%, really?? You pay top dollar for the meal and then they whack you another 3% without even asking if I am paying with a CC. That really rubbed me the wrong way enough that I wont go back.

Food was amazing. Hubby raved about the rack of lamb and my filet mignon was superb. Servers attentive although there was a snafu with my appetizer. They made up for it by comping the dessert. The tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had. We can't wait to go back.

This was my second time coming to My Cousin's. The first time was for dinner with friends and it was excellent in every aspect. This time was for brunch. I had my first ever chocolate martini which was delicious. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was also delicious. The staff is great. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The owner came around to ask how things were. I love the ambiance of the restaurant. I will definitely keep coming to My Cousin's. If you are on the fence, stop thinking about it. Call and make a reservation and be prepared to have delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. You won't regret it.

CLarify your preferences... Had reservations for 2 people. when we were being seated, there were about 5 to 6 open tables for 2. when hostess sat us, I requested a different 2 top table, was denied. Reason was all the tables are reserved? So I asked I can reserve a specific table?? SHe couldnt answer me.... So that started my evening wrong. The great food made up for it, but seating is tight. IF you like having dinner with your wife sitting next to other couples like your all in the same conversation, then its a good place for you...
