Mutiny Pirate Bar & Island Grille

Staff was very friendly and efficient.
The only thing I would change is how the vents in the ceiling blow directly down on the table. We had to move and there wasn't much choice of tables without a vent over them. Not only were we cold ,it would blow in the food...not to healthy.
Menu was diverse and will try it again.

I have been to Mutiny way too many times to count. I feel at home when I am at Mutiny. During this visit I had Courtney L. as my server for the first time ever. She did an outstanding job. I had a party of 6 and she made sure our drinks were never low and made sure to check on us the right amount of times. If my visit was my first time going to Mutiny Courtney’s service would’ve been enough for me to come back and recommend it to everyone. During this visit I got the chicken wings which are the best wings of any establishment in the area. If you like your wings hot get the house-made Walk the Plank sauce, you won’t regret it.

The food has been consistently good here. My only problem with this visit was my waiter. He was so uninformed about the menu that he couldn’t answer the simplest of questions. He doesn’t eat salads he said. I ordered mussels to start and when they arrived there was no extra plate for the shells and no small fork to get them out. I asked if he was new and he said no. I later learned that he had been the bar back. I would definitely eat here again and pray I have a different server.

We love Mutiny! The service is always top notch and the food is very good. The Pirate ambiance is a lot of fun and adds to the overall, fun experience. Keep an eye out for special promos, and be sure to try your favorite rum drink. AHOY MAYEY!!

Great service, wonderful atmosphere and lots of great choices of food! They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and for my birthday they brought balloons, signed a card and treat to dessert!

We received Mutiny’s Weekend Specials by email and decided to indulge on a few of them. My husband and I ordered a beer, and was told they just tapped out. Then I ordered the ahi tuna tacos, and they just ran out. Asked the server about the food specials, and was told none of it was ready. I ordered a hamburger and my husband ordered 6 piece wings, and my teenage son couldn’t decide on what to eat because nothing on the menu looked appeasing and he didn’t order any food at all! From my teenager who eats a lot, and for him not to eat....what?! The Happy Hour quiz game came and no weekend specials were ready. $80 bill and we left quite disappointed.

Wonderfully fun Christmas decorations. I loved the trees hanging from the ceiling. It put me in a great mood to enjoy marvelous food.

We celebrated my son’s birthday, and there were balloons and a card waiting for him. Nice touch!

When my GPS couldn't find the place, we called and asked for directions. The receptionist told us, she didn't know their location either. She is new. We drove around and found it ( behind the Safeway). Upon entering our experience continued to go downhill. When you walk into an establishment and there is a line of patrons waiting to be seated and half the tables are dirty and need to be bused, that is a big indicator of a management/staff issue. My wife and our guests told me to be patient and nice. I should NOT have listened. The service, especially getting easy to make drinks (wine in a glass) took way too long. When I complained our waitress said she would try extra hard to get us served more promptly. I said thank you, and she replied "NOT A PROBLEM!" It was a problem that she completely failed to understand and solve. When the food arrived and it was of mediocre quality. We should have walked out, but that wouldn't be nice, would it? It is a shame because their other place was quaint, fun, and good. What are they thinking!

Over all ok I love the oysters but a very noisy place and you shouldn't make a Maryland crab cake with South American crab meat just not the same our server was very good

Never ever am disappointed to eat here. The weekend specials are usually my go to. The mojito (regular) is perfectly made!

Our server was personable but not very attentive. He never checked on our food after it was delivered. Our steaks were way overcooked and tough. The burger with crab dip not so good. The calamari and mac & cheese apps were good. The rum chata cheesecake was tasty. The decor is definitely a conversation starter . Overall the food just wasn't good enough for me to go back.

I always really love all their holiday/special day/event specials. This time around, their Halloween pumpkin punch was AMAZING! The fish tacos were great. We brought my sister in law who came from out of town and she even found rum she liked (and she’s more of a beer/vodka person). The dessert on special was also amazing and our server was wonderful. This place is always super clean, has cool decor (and decorates for special occasions), and is just really fun! Might not recommend though if you don’t like a higher noise level (or just grab some outdoor seating if the weather is nice).

Food and Service was great! Cocktails were out of this world! My only complaint is that the place is small and I mean small. Best to make reservations.

Mutiny always has great food. There was a slight problem with our order and the staff were quick to resolve and apologize. We will be back.

Great little neighborhood place. The food is pretty good but the 100+ rums available keep me coming back. I like rum. Quite a bit. But, I don't relish the idea of plunking down lots of cash money on a high end bottle without trying it first and I get to do that here.

Wait staff is always friendly and attentive and it's a fun little place for my husband and I to come to when we have a night without the kids.

Weekly specials are always a go to for ordering.

WE LOVE THE MUTINY AND EAT THERE OFTEN! THERE WAS A GREAT HAWAIIAN THEME. STAFF DRESS THE OCCASION AND LAYS FOR ALL.

LOVE the drink selection. Felt I could’ve gotten more food for the money, but it was still very good.

My wife enjoyed the key lime mussels. I did not like the conch and shrimp appetizer as I did not realize that conch was very chewy. The fried oyster breading was very crispy but the oysters were not juicy and were small, so not good. The special was a rack of ribs. The meat was very tender, but I didn’t like the pineapple flavor. My wife liked the coconut cake special for dessert but I did not. To me it was more of a round butter cake and not a piece of regular cake if that makes sense. Matt the hostess was great, explained everything very professionally. Meghan our waitress started out with high marks but by the end of the dinner she forgot about us and it took awhile to get our check.

Nothing fresh about their food. Frozen steak. Frozen fish. Over seasoning wings. Even the fries were over seasoning and over done. Just pure disappointment.

I thought it was fun, with the pirate theme and the rum drinks. My husband enjoyed his food more than I did mine, but I'm willing to give it another shot. I had a fish dish from the specials that had a fruit salsa, and the salsa was quite sweet and a bit overwhelming. My Mojito was really good as was the Dark and Stormy made with ginger simple syrup and seltzer.

This is about our 10th. visit to the Mutiny. Crab Fries are Great! They have a very nice selection of beers and mixed drinks. Also a Happy Hour selection on food and drink as well as Specials of the day. OF Course.... we will be back!

Another great time at Mutiny. The food and service were top notch!

The bar seating is right next to the dining areas so on a Saturday night (early, 5:15pm) it was loud and hard to carry on a conversation with your dinner partner.

The service was excellent. We were able to get our food within about 15 minutes of ordering. The only issue was that the air conditioning was coming on pretty strong, so my wife was cold.

As always Mutiny was amazing. Our server was prompt and food was delicious. Also because it was national donut day every on the restaurant was given a free gift.

As per all 4 times I've been the service and the food was great. Food is a little expensive, but always plenty to eat and delicious.

The outside seating was great, we had a great time while having a few drinks and food. The specials and happy hour were also a pulse and great as well.

Drinks came out quick and were perfectly made not too strong or too weak. The food was very fresh and in seasoned. This is the perfect place to meet up with friends or watch a sports game at. I can not wait for the one in Elkridge to open up.

The food was sooooo amazing!!!! Can't wait to go back!
