Very good downtown Japanese restaurant, we had the Sushi and some great starters. There is a lot more to try here with wagyu beef, though that is very pricey being the genuine article and not pretend Texas version. A very good selection of Japenese sake and whiskeys.

Our waiter did a very good job. The hostess did not. She seemed annoyed and stressed that we did not wait upstairs by the hostess desk which we never saw. The food was good for the most part but overpriced - both the chicken and pork were dry. We had issues with the valet making us wait for an extended period of time and the GM of the hotel could not have cared less that we couldn’t find the valet to get our car. The valet cost was outrageous and we should have been notified that our valet ticket could be validated with our pricey dinner. That exit experience was a sour taste to the end of our night.

We went to the restaurant and sat downstairs, we had been before, and had outstanding service that time, this time, there was nothing special about the service, it almost seemed like the person waiting on us, was annoyed to have to wait on us my wife called it being indifferent. We loved the ambience, but once again, we felt like service was lacking. We ordered the curry soup with shrimp and lobster dynamite, which is a five out of five, it was wonderful. The entrée of scallops and steak were mediocre at best and really kind of poor. we also got the Thai basil, fried rice with shrimp, and it did not have a lot of flavor, the steak had no flavor, and the scallops were not even close to some thing that would be considered a great dish. It had a serious lack of flavor as well. The first time we went, was outstanding on all accounts, they had an off night tonight, and I would not go back if this was my first time to have gone there. we will really have to consider going back, because the appetizers were so fantastic, but if we want an entrée, we probably will not go there.

Meh… we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes after our reservation time, we got there around 10 minutes early so we had quite the wait. No one seemed terribly excited we were there, although the restaurant was full, so maybe they were overwhelmed. It was incredibly loud, to the point where we couldn’t discuss what we wanted to eat or hear the waiter very well. Food was so so, which is not a good thing because it’s very expensive. The rules on the sushi menu seem to be lacking and only a handful of options.

Welcome to the best new upscale sushi location in Fort Worth! I went on a recommendation and I’ll say I’ve never been SO impressed! Just WOW! We had a bit of everything on the menu and when I say everything was phenomenal that’s an understatement. Try the moonfish for a delight, and the steamed bun and dim sum are amazing! I can’t wait to get back again.

The staff is exceptional! Taylor was fantastic!!! The music downstairs is ridiculously LOUD! You cannot carry on a conversation even with the person right beside you. We asked to be moved upstairs. The manager was precious and honored our request. We were seated right under speakers that were not as loud but still annoying. Sweet Taylor had it turned down. The rest of the night was great. The food was wonderful. The drinks were meh.

Excellent food that was very well prepared. Taylor took great care of us ! Minor gripe- seated way in the far corner of the restaurant even though we were part of the early crowd. Pretty isolated from the main area and probably should have mentioned it when being seated.

The food was delicious and the staff was exceptional. The only complaint that I had is the music was a little loud. We had to nearly yell to talk during our date. That being said, I would recommend going and will definitely go again.

Best sushi we have had in a long time. The Japanese Yellowtail Sashimi was crazy good. The atmosphere is top notch and service was on point. Well worth the visit, we’ll be back for sure!!

We had the best time at this restaurant! Food was amazing, service was over the top! The owner and staff were so knowledgeable and helpful in making sure we had the best experience of food, wine and sake pairings. This was our 2nd visit to Musume. We went during opening week and returned last night to celebrate my son’s birthday. The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, especially the black cod and ramen (oh my God THE RAMEN!). The vibe in the restaurant was great, and the music was on point. Overall great time. We will definitely be back.

Jennifer made the experience of dining here fantastic. The menu is expansive and the first visit could be overwhelming. She walked us through the menu and helped with an ordering plan for the 4 of us. Her recommendations were spot on and everything we ate was fantastic. Definitely a place I would come back to and I would request Jennifer if possible.

The best meal I’ve had this year. We ate here for our anniversary and it was incredible. We had several different dishes, 3 from the sushi selections, two entrees, and two desserts. Everything was phenomenal. The salmon harasu was my favorite.

Perfect for a birthday celebration or dinner with friends and family. It felt like an dressy casual type of place. My friend and I were greeted at the door, very friendly staff. We ordered dim sum and sushi, everything was delicious!

Great vibe, thought we would try while on work trip. Cool old basement of an old bank, cool old bank doors as ambiance, great bar with tasty old fashioned drinks. Everything we tried was fresh, great flavors and just wonderful. Will return for sure.

Absolutely fabulous! Every taste was perfect. The atmosphere, in the basement of the hotel, which includes the original bank vault, is unique and special. The food and sake menu can be a bit overwhelming, so let your server and outstanding somm guide you! Great place for date night or special occasion.
