Had a reservation for 8:30 to celebrate my wife’s non-cancer diagnosis so we were in a good mood. Waited until 9:15-9:30 before we left in a foul mood with no dinner. Hostess kept saying “people are not getting up”. I get that part and it’s certainly not her fault.....but when you have a reservation you always prep to turn the table over....restaurant management 101. We have eaten at some fine sushi establishments in NYC and San Fran and this place looks and feels more like a clubby Blue Fish than anything else. Maybe we avoided a dissapointment, but located where it is, you won’t last long if you can’t even seat people on time.
This was an incredible experience. The sushi was excellent! The staff engaging and knowledgeable. Fabulous spot for foodies.
Amazing atmosphere, even better food! Beautiful people everywhere and did I mention how great the food was?!?! Amazing restaurant and I highly recommend it to anyone.
There was nothing spectacular about musume. The food was OK, the service was OK, the prices were not unexpected. After visiting on Valentine’s Day, We’re not in a rush to go back again. Overall it was an acceptable semi formal Asian-fusion experience, but nothing to write home about.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Super high-end and delicious food from a menu with a good range of options. You get less food than you think for what you pay, but everything was delicious and a fun experience overall.
Had a 9:30 reservation for two, waited till 10:30 in the bar area and had not been seated yet. Went elsewhere for dinner. Might go back but not counting on a reservation time.
A must try new restaurant in Dallas. Definitely dallas' new top 10 list. Great menu and vibrant energetic scene.
The food & drinks were amazing & the servers were very attentive. Noise level was high, which is exciting but it was nearly impossible to have a conversation with a party of 6.
Look forward to trying a different restaurant in Arts district. While the service was good and the decor inviting the food was disappointing. Sushi looked and tasted is if it were premise and came from a supermarkets and the small and large plates tasted as if it came from the Costco freezer section. Will not go back.
I had high hopes and they were all met - this is a GREAT addition to the downtown scene!!!
The TV screen messes with ambiance.
Third time in 3 days... walking distance from work. Six of us split entrees and three sushi rolls. Everyone loved all the dishes.
Second time in two days... walking distance from work. Yesterday, seven of us split six entrees and two sushi rolls. Everyone loved all the dishes. Pork belly and rice was a particular favorite. AND THE DUCK! Today three of us returned and we all had the pork belly. Excellent Asian fusion choices, great presentation, amazing flavors. Entrees were $17-19 or so each, so I unfortunately can't go here daily. I'll try for weekly for a while!
Great new restaurant with fresh sushi and food cooked to perfection. Everything we tried was tasty. Even the cocktails! They signature old fashioned and lobster are must haves.
A total disappointment. We were looking forward to trying this restaurant from the moment we saw it, but it was a complete disaster. The hostess tried to sit our four person party (with a reservation) at a giant table meant for eight people and rolled her eyes when we requested a different table. It took fifteen minutes for someone to take our drink order and another fifteen to get our drinks. The fish was way overcooked, the side dishes were soaked in oily sauces, the sushi was just ok, the "cold" sake was warm. I could go on and on. Looking around, there wasn't a single table who didn't look angry. We ended up cancelling the rest of our order after waiting an hour to get our apps and realizing how awful they were. At that price point, they need to have their ducks in a row.
Food was fantastic. Wished it wasn’t so bright. Needed to turn down the lights and turn up the ambiance. Service was great until the pace of food from the kitchen slowed to a crawl. Canceled our last plate. Again, food was incredible
Food was excellent, atmosphere was great. The bar selection was excellent!
This restaurant is outstanding. We can't wait to return. Will be our go to before the theater!
Though I loved the food the service could have been better. Not that our server was bad but the service in general was slow, and the restaurant was out of certain entree items before the lunch hour was even over.
We requested the Sushi bar so we could watch them make the sushi but the counter is so tall you can not see. None of our plates were cleared from our table throughout the meal. My glass of wine was a very low pour when it was delivered but the waiter took it back and filled it for me when we mentioned it
Great night. Lively. Bring your personality and be ready for cocktails.
My wife, and I had dinner at Musume on Saturday, January 27. When I made reservations, I did not realize that the restaurant had opened just a few days ago. The restaurant is stunningly beautiful, with a lot of attention to design. The bar area is extremely nice, and the back of the bar faces the dining room with different bottles providing a very nice backdrop.
Out of all the items we ordered, the Lobster Dynamite was the one we enjoyed the most, but all the dishes were very good. The service was top notch, and the highlight of the night was when the General Manager took the time to give us a tour of the restaurant, including the kitchen.
There is a very large Sake collection, and the wine list is extensive as well. My wife, and I will be back with friends.
Delightful! Food was delicious and our evening delightful!
Amazing food and service! Unique food and fun atmosphere.
