Daily 5:00 pm–10:30 pm
Great diversity in menu, all Asian. The best miso sea bass ever? Great wild boar potstickers, green papaya salad. Sashimi was a bit pricey but good. Great sake list.
Beautiful venue with interesting menu options. Go for the Thai basil vinaigrette dipping sauce - worth it! The Hot Mess Roll had a lot going on and while it was decent I wouldn’t order it again. Morgan Roll was the best. Seating was comfortable enough and it was nearly at capacity for lunch time but not too noisy so still possible to talk business. Clean restrooms and plenty of seating while you wait on your party to arrive. Overall nice experience.
We came for a birthday and it was great! I have a favorite Japanese restaurant in Dallas, but Musume may have taken that title. Not only was the restaurant beautiful, but the food was amazing!! We had many different things on the menu and it was ALL delicious. The service was awesome, our server(s) didn’t rush our long dinner, were super nice, and were so knowledgeable about everything on the menu.
The food and service were amazing! The combo fried rice (pork belly and shrimp) absolutely phenomenal! Largest sake menu I’ve ever seen!
Good, fresh sushi on the expensive side. Expansive menu. Nice decor, but incredibly loud for a business dinner.
Awesome food ! Variety and quality as well as some unique creations. Elegant ambiance. Service friendly.
The only issue was an odor coming from the bar. Noticed when we first came in. My wife thought it was incense burning but not sure. It just was a bit annoying to me. We have eaten here a few times and this was the first time for such an odor.
I think if you are wanting more food options this is not the place. Overall experience was good. Food was ok.. Service could have been better. After having reservation, still had to wait. Place was not very busy to wait that long.
Friendly service, knowledgeable about the menu, helpful.
Delicious food, diverse menu & had a great experience once again! Can’t wait to return!
Food was excellent, as always. We are vegan and the chefs accommodated us most graciouly. Service was delightful -- attentive without hovering, which is a difficult balance.
Server needs to have knowledge of food and serve . Ordered Omakase and she forgot how many courses has been served.
Disappointed in service
Outstanding food and too many great choices to decide on ordering.everything we had was fresh and unique. Going back soon
Really like the look of the place. Food and service were excellent.
Food and service still uneven. The decor is nice.
Outstanding service and exceptional food. Great for lunch and dinner.
We really enjoyed our meal here. The Shareable’s were the highest points, DimSum and Lamb lollipop bit the sushi and sashimi were very high quality as well, fantastic sake and wine list as well. Will definitely be back
What a great surprise Musume turned out to be! We had tickets to a performance at the Winspear so wanted to try something new within easy walking distance (about 200 feet!). Truly everything our group had was both interesting and delicious. Our waitress was both knowledgeable and opinionated, which given the size of the menu was a good thing. She guided us through all the courses and we finished up 15 minutes ahead of showtime. Could go on and on, but it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time.
We'll definitely be back, so glad they are in the Arts District and appear to be having some real success!
Loved it! Great food and service and can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. We did the tasting menu to get a good sample of the menu.
We split 2 share plates (duck confit and pork buns) and a sushi roll and all 3 were really great. Michele, our bartendress, was wonderful. Still talking about the food. Anxious to come back to try more.
Very disappointing! We were big fans of Kennichi. Our waiter Nathan was very nice. But an Asian restaurant that runs out of noodles?! The food was good. But the menu is very pricey. I know it is a Japanese restaurant. But pricey even for that. So aside from the running out of noodles bit, it was just fine. But too expensive for just fine.
The food was delicious! Creative and yummy...plenty to eat! Sometimes creative gets strange but everything about this place was just right with a twist.
Trust the sushi chefs - they know
Our first time and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful setting directly across from the Meyerson. Paying $10 plus tip for valet is a bit of a drag, but I understand how congested parking is in the Arts Center. We started with spicy edamame...very tasty but you'll need extra napkins...a bit odd that they don't bring any with the dish. The dragon shrimp was fine, and the dim sum was good but the little steamed baskets fell apart with little prodding. I had salmon teriyaki which was quite nice...salmon firm but not overcooked. One warning...the complimentary peppers which we were given ranged from mild to very hot. Had my wife eaten the hot one I got, it would have ended the meal. I think they should give a more accurate description of the dish or perhaps not provide it to patrons.
Delicious, highly recommend!
Generally the food was quite good, but a novice server made ordering drinks especially difficult & timing of entree delivery late. Unfortunately it took a while to find out the bar did nothave ingredients for one of their listed specialty drinks, and also to find out they were out of Halibut at 6:45pm
The potstickers, black cod, shisito peppers, green papaya salad (which was fresh and not spicy at all) and the dynamite shrimp (which was very spicy) were all good. The sea bass was nicely cooked, but the chicken teriaki was dry and the scallops were overcooked and very salty.
perhaps we should stick with small plates next time.
This will be the third or fourth time I've eaten at Musume in the past couple of months. One of the things I noticed this time that I like is that the serving sizes don't overwhelm. Prices are pretty reasonable, too, even though the quality of the food is tremendous. Good service to boot!
In a word...awesome!
Great food , small portions is why I would say it’s not great value for money.
One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in dallas. Highly recommend the Kobe style beef, duck confeit, sea bass, and the desserts. Truly delicious!
The black miso cod and the vegan roll were both really good. Really enjoyed everything we had. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the food made the prices more tolerable.
Service was ok but definitely not great. Dropped the ball on our drinks a couple of times, and he didn’t know the menu well. Some dishes were really great, some were pretty mediocre. Overall, it wasn’t a great meal, especially for the price. We won’t be going back again.
We arrived after the kitchen closed but our waitress Amanda was beyond accommodating and very friendly. We will most definitely be back!
Many vegan options. Delicious food. Waitress was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. They gave us a complimentary ice cream fried cake that said happy anniversary, it made the whole night so special.
We absolutely loved every single item on our collective plates! We reserved our table on OpenTable and noted we were there for a celebratory dinner before going to see Swan Lake at the ballet. Everyone in our party of four was very pleased with the offerings which is sometimes difficult to find for a vegan, a vegetarian and 2 omnivores. Our server was top notch and was incredibly attentive to all of our individual dietary restrictions and needs. For appetizers, we had the spicy edamame (spice on the side for the vegan because of oyster sauce), chickpea panisse (FANTASTIC!!!), green peppers, and sweet potato tempura (husband still raving). For dinner, we had seared scallops, chicken teriyaki, vegetable fried rice, SuperFly vegan (LOVED LOVED LOVED) and the vegetable sushi (pictured and SPECTACULAR). For the birthday girl, they brought out tempura ice cream and everyone about squealed in delight both before and after tasting that gem. We wil be back! Superior service and food from start to finish!
Nothing too memorable, good enough food, good wine and beverage selection. Service was better than most. By far not the best Japanese cuisine, especially at the price-point offering.
Food was phenomenal!! Loud people at the bar cut our night short.
Place was understaffed and so our service experience was not the best - we barely saw our server. I know everyone was overwhelmed but I wonder if the staff could have worked on working together more to support each other.
One our favorite new places. Can’t wait to go again and to share with our friends
Absolutely some of the very best food I have had. EVERYTHING was amazing....the flavor, the portions, the staff!!!! Highly recommend!!
