Great location, Great food!!
So good :)
Enjoyed our special dinner pre Gala and had amazing service
Sushi was decent but other foods were very salty in general.
Great for pre or post theater. Fun bar. Terrific sushi rolls. Extensive sake and specialty drink menu.
Our server Alex couldn’t have been more charming or professional. He steered us toward delicious small plates since we were just having a quick nosh before a play. The ribs were decadently toothsome and the mushrooms irresistibly yummy. Loved the ambiance and proximity to the Wyley but didn’t love the noise level - hard to hear each other talk!
Went to Musume before the symphony, and reserved a seat in the sushi bar area. The restaurant was everything you imagined it to be: great service, great drinks, and the best sushi that we've ever had. I order their take on an old fashion, which I would highly recommend if you're into whisky/bourbon drinks. Our favorite sushi we ordered was the Roller Coaster. Next time, I will be reserving a spot in the main dining area as the sushi bar standard seating was not as comfortable for talking.
Overpriced and the food was mediocre.
Wonderful food and service with great ambianc. Lovely evening with a friend...great place for catch-up conversation. Definitely be back!!
Great! Just needs more patrons. 😊
Really wanted to love this place. Food was good, service was terrible.
Great food! Let the chef send out some of his favorites, and they were all amazing! Best lamb ever! It's location is perfect for dinner before a show at Winspear Opera House or Symphony! Only complaint is that it is very loud, and hard to hear the conversation.
Sat at sushi bar. Spicy edamame was very good. Stir it first to get edamame well covered. Great fresh sushi. Rolls great too.
Just know that if you go there between 6:00 and 7:30 when there is an event across the street that the service will slow down. Will go back.
We’d definitely return!
The worst food experience, sashimi are extremely small portions for a price, not worth the money and money is not an option for me,never going to come back.
Oh man, where to begin... I guess I'll preface this with the fact that most of the food did taste good. But the service... unbelievably bad. Wait staff were literally running around like they were in front of a firing squad. We went for Restaurant Week so maybe that was the issue. We were sat in the darkest corner table in the restaurant. Still water (Fiji) is $9. For appetizer, my friend and I got the serrano yellowtail which was delicious and I would recommend it. My other friend ordered the shiitake gyoza, which came as three, small deep fried pieces. We also ordered an additional appetizer (Five Spice Duck Confit - which was as dry as the Sahara desert, and should have been served with silverware because the forbidden rice underneath was saturated in a compote and wouldn't hold together), and a rainbow roll to supplement dinner. The rainbow roll came out before anything else, including our cocktails and apps. When our entrees were finally served, mine was delivered a good 5 minutes before everyone else's and I had to ask two servers to provide me silverware (I'm not going to attempt to eat mashed yam with chopsticks), and the steak was freezing cold, so it was evident it had been sitting there awhile. Then we had a waitress drop off an order of asparagus (we didn't order it), and then later in the evening, drop off two cocktails we didn't order. Dessert was fine. Then it comes time to pay... the bulk of the bill was paid on card, and we said, the rest would be in cash. None of the cash was returned, we had to ask for it back. I wouldn't stiff horrible waitstaff but we certainly were not going to tip over the included 20% for service this atrocious. I wouldn't go back.
This was our first visit, & we were very impressed with the entire experience. Being restaurant week, the place was very busy. However, the service was still excellent. We can’t wait to return.
Restaurant is really LOUD. The food is ok but definitely not excellent. Everything is overpriced there. Our waiter was not professional at all. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant look very cheap and tacky. It is not worthwhile to spend money there.
Management and staff were great. Food was spectacular. Fresh fish is an understatement.
Great date spot or place to go before a theatre show given that it is next door to both theaters. We ordered 6 dishes and everything was phenomenal. A little on the pricey side, but worth it. The appetizers are spicier than expected, but still enjoyable. Food came out quickly but the wait service was a little slow so definitely allow some time if you are going to see a show. Would definitely recommend
Went for DFW restaurant week: the food was pretty good. Our server was wonderful; however, for the price and amount of food, it was definitely lacking. The steak was average, the potatoes, were not very good, the desserts were lacking creativity.
Amazing service, waiter was very attentive! Went for a birthday and we got free shots and free dessert! Will be back very soon with my girls.
Good food but only so-so service. We were disappointed that the service wasn't better, given the high prices and the other positive reviews.
The food was the best sushi of my life. No pressure by the restaurant to hurry up and get out. We just kept ordering more items. Not inexpensive. About $300 for the three of us with drinks.
I enjoyed my fish and the sides were different from what I have had at other places . The rice was a black color , and very tasty -baby bokchoy was perfect .
This had everything you would want , great atmosphere , excellent food, friendly service. Location , easy to get to. Not shoulder to shoulder seating - your table was your relaxing and spacious . I booked another reservation while I was there.
Love everything about this place. Service was outstanding both nights that I went here. Overall a must if you are living and or visiting Dallas metropolitan area.
Great service and delicious food. We will definitely be back
A fine dining restaurant that is vegetarian friendly, has interesting food, good service and ambience. I always indicate that I am a vegetarian when I make my reservations on Open table. The host acknowledged this and so did the server. The server was friendly, attentive and made some good recommendations. The menu had a lot of choices for vegans and vegetarians. We ended up ordering several small plates All the dishes I picked were excellent. Shitake Gyoza, Wok Charred Okra and the Superfly Vegan roll. What I liked was the flavor and spice of the dishes I had ordered. The presentation was good. The dessert choices were okay - we had at Matcha Napolean. There are many more vegetarian dishes I want to try. My meat- eating family also enjoyed their dishes - but I was too busy relishing my meal to remember what they ordered.
This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I ordered from the menu, no sushi this time. Lamb lollipops and anything served over the risotto, I would recommend. Also save room for the Miso Chocolate Mousse Cake! This cake is awesome!
Great diversity in menu, all Asian. The best miso sea bass ever? Great wild boar potstickers, green papaya salad. Sashimi was a bit pricey but good. Great sake list.
Beautiful venue with interesting menu options. Go for the Thai basil vinaigrette dipping sauce - worth it! The Hot Mess Roll had a lot going on and while it was decent I wouldn’t order it again. Morgan Roll was the best. Seating was comfortable enough and it was nearly at capacity for lunch time but not too noisy so still possible to talk business. Clean restrooms and plenty of seating while you wait on your party to arrive. Overall nice experience.
We came for a birthday and it was great! I have a favorite Japanese restaurant in Dallas, but Musume may have taken that title. Not only was the restaurant beautiful, but the food was amazing!! We had many different things on the menu and it was ALL delicious. The service was awesome, our server(s) didn’t rush our long dinner, were super nice, and were so knowledgeable about everything on the menu.
The food and service were amazing! The combo fried rice (pork belly and shrimp) absolutely phenomenal! Largest sake menu I’ve ever seen!
Good, fresh sushi on the expensive side. Expansive menu. Nice decor, but incredibly loud for a business dinner.
Awesome food ! Variety and quality as well as some unique creations. Elegant ambiance. Service friendly.
The only issue was an odor coming from the bar. Noticed when we first came in. My wife thought it was incense burning but not sure. It just was a bit annoying to me. We have eaten here a few times and this was the first time for such an odor.
I think if you are wanting more food options this is not the place. Overall experience was good. Food was ok.. Service could have been better. After having reservation, still had to wait. Place was not very busy to wait that long.
Friendly service, knowledgeable about the menu, helpful.
Delicious food, diverse menu & had a great experience once again! Can’t wait to return!
