So amazing. We were really excited to try fresh wasabi. The sashimi was excellent and fresh. My boyfriend was underwhelmed by the ribeye, but the appetizers we got were amazing. The cocktails were a little underwhelming, but we were happy with the whisky selection. There is also Sapporo on tap.
The ambience of the place is amazing. The food and the staff is the best.
Musume had some phenomenal food. My wife and I are moving to Dallas and are looking for places that make high quality food and this was great. The vegan roll was one of the best I've ever had, and the chef did some great sushi dishes as part of the Omakase. The service was not as good as you'd expect when spending as much as you do there. We must have picked a bad night as the bar was packed with drunks banging a gong which didn't do anything for the ambiance. Despite this, I would go back again for the food.
Food was amazing . Space was beautiful ans well designed. Katilyn was friendly and anticipated our needs. Kameal is a very generous host
Excellent place! And the speakeasy in the back was super cool!
Awesome food. Friendly staff. Owner was in site and greeted diners. Be sure to check out the speakeasy
Food was amazing. Best sushi in town. The Hotmess Roll was off the charts. Service was impeccable and the owner Khalil must have come to our table several times to check on us and also just have a friendly chat. Felt very welcome there and would recommend this place to anyone. We also got to go to the hidden gem Akai after dinner, they take you through the kitchen and down a hallway through a plain door into a beautiful lounge. The service and hospitality there was just as awesome as Musume. We will be back.
First time to Dallas and came here for dinner. The restaurant was beautifully done and the food was amazing. Our server Matt also did a fantastic job in recommending food and his service was impeccable. The coolest thing was the speakeasy afterwards, this place definitely makes you feel like a VIP. Will be back.
Speak easy 10/10
Excellent food! Adjusted extremely well to COVID restrictions. Great service.
One of my favorite spots in Dallas. The great food is only out-shined by the excellent customer service. As a supervisor in a Arts District Hotel, this is the first recommendation I make to my guests for a dinner spot. Check it out!
They were very nice! I put a special request on my reservation for a buddy’s 21st birthday, and they went above and beyond! Thank you!!
Great date night stop we have hit several times. The service is incredible and the food is amazing. Very diverse atmosphere with room for a quiet date night or a table full of friends and fits all ages. We love the sushi but I wouldn't be afraid to try anything here.
We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary there and were greeting by the owner who seated us in a great booth. Every bite was delicious and their drink menu is creative. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and felt very special throughout. They even capped it off with a delicious treat for us! Will definitely be back and will bring friends. Highly recommend.
Cole is the best!
Beautiful food, great service!! Will be back
They were very clean and careful with their service.
Incredible Food & Service. My New Favorite! So, good I went 2 nights in a row.
Ordered the “Trust us” menu. Lots of sushi places use that as an excuse to get rid of stuff that they don’t want anymore or that is going bad. But this place brought out some of its best stuff the owner even came by and greeted us. He sat and made conversation. The service was excellent and because it was the first week of reopening They threw in a bottle of hand sanitizer and a half of a dessert to take home
Great first night back from the shutdown. Extremely prepared, awesome service and maintained their same great atmosphere!
Great management and staff. Owners make a point to stop by your table and check on you and make suggestions. My 4th time to eat here, and it was incredibly consistent, with great food and great service.
Great date night! Best sushi try the lobster dynamite, Friday night roll and the Blake roll!
My wife and I stopped in for a bite before attending the Harry Connick show across the street. I've been here several times for lunch, but this was our first dinner experience, and we were not disappointed. My wife ordered the Sea Bass which looked fantastic, and she said it was delicious. I only ordered the Dim Sum and the Mean Green roll. Best dim sum I've had in a long time, but the roll was very tasty. The fresh wasabi was definitely a great choice. Thanks to Kaitlyn for awesome service, great suggestions, and a most pleasant evening. We will be back.
The food was amazing and we had great service! The 24CT roll with smoked soy sauce was delicious!
Great food. Great drinks. Great place
Outstanding sashimi fresh and well prepared, dumplings were spot on and brussel sprouts were amazing. A bit on the pricey side but food won’t disappoint
We go here before the DSO concerts. Service is stellar because all staff members work as a team to make sure each customers needs are met. Food is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Great wine list and Japanese whiskies. A bit overpriced but not enough to deter us from returning. One of our favorite Dallas restaurants.
Friendly staff. Impressive menu. Dirty martini was wonderful. We ordered the cod, spring rolls, miso beans. When we finished we saw the lobster at the next table - Wow! We will be back soon.
Great location for heading to symphony or the Winspear. Great, delicious selections for vegan. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy valet parking. We will be back!
Nice before the theater and symphony restaurant. Staff always professional and the keep the service moving. I will be back again soon.
We had a fabulous experience. Small
Plates are delicious! We had great service from servers and the manager came by. Lots of variety on menu and interesting entrees. Fresh ingredients!
Great food, fantastic service, and delicious speciality drinks. We had 8–10 food items, and 4-5 different drinks, and everything tasted perfect. Periodic check-ins from the owner were nice, and he offered wonderful suggestions. And a major plus, after the perfect dinner and drinks, you can walk back to their hidden bar behind the kitchen, and enjoy the remainder of the night, in the exclusive Akai lounge. All the door guys, bouncers, hostesses, and wait-staff, were very kind, and really enhanced the night. The whole experience was 5-Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
If you liked Kenichi you’ll love it
Awesome experience. Great food and service. We were very happy and will go back. It was very loud which made conversations challenging.
The food, as always, was fantastic. The service was a bit lackluster, unfortunately. We were greeted promptly by a manager, which was lovely. He did not offer to get us water or drinks, but someone arrived shortly after, so it’s very possible he sent them over. This person was not our server—completely okay and I appreciate him coming over—and offered us water, but left so quickly we didn’t have a chance to order our drinks. When our server finally arrived, we were able to order drinks and had to literally stop her from leaving so we could order our food. We ordered, specifically saying the handful of appetizers we ordered to be be brought out as the meal. This did not happen. The scallops arrived a solid ten minutes before the other food. Another appetizer (supposed to be part of an entree) and the side veg then came, followed shortly by my entree. Finally, the third appetizer appetizer came. All of the food was delicious, but the timing was not what we’d asked for. The servers seemed much more interested in just dropping the items quickly and leaving. My precious experience at this restaurant was so very different and so lovely. Hopefully Friday night was just an off night.
The black miso cod was phenomenal! I also really like the lamb pop small plate and the vegetarian fried rice. There are lots of other things on the menu that I would like to try next time. It is also very convenient to eat there right before going to the Meyerson.
Headed here before an event at the Winspear Opera house (right across the street). Valet here, don’t park in the garage. $10 versus $20. My bad. Anyway...the service, food and atmosphere were awesome. My other half does sushi, I don’t. They had a wonderfully tender steak teriyaki entree that I devoured. Not before we shared a solid seaweed salad and out of this world boar potstickers (Gyoza). Amazing experience. It’s not the cheapest place but you definitely get what you pay for. The sake and whiskey lists looked great, but we’re wine people so we didn’t try any but if you are into sake and whiskey, this is your place.
Super great service and food! Waiter was attentive.
Every bite was tasteful! I will be back. The staff was so helpful and made the experience even better!
Loved the ambiance. Food and service was top notch. Portions are smaller than we expected from the descriptions so I would definitely ask the server for additional descriptions. Great meal and the flavors and pairings were outstanding!!
