Amazing food, good service and the atmosphere was everything! Fabulous place to dine at.
This was our first time going. The food was wonderful. We will go back again.
LOVE this place.
Bit pricy but not bad overall. Great date spot overall.
The appetizers were pretty good. We got the dim sum and Gyoza pork as our appetizer, but the sushi was average at best. Considering the sushi cost $22 per roll, I was expecting far more. Ambience and service was great. Ultimately, you can't charge a premium price serving average food.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Musume has new ideas for menu items, not just the average choices you generally have, along with an extensive sake menu. Very pleased with the overall cost for the variety and quality of food and drinks served. Enjoyed the lively feeling inside the open dining area. A speak easy was being held later that night (I went on a Saturday). After my impressive first experience I will definitely return!
We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Musume. The service was incredible and the food was exceptional. We asked our waiter to pick everything and surprise us. Everything was delicious! Will definitely return soon.
Okay first thing most people will not mention is the absolute lack of parking for this restaurant. Next to it is a public garage that charges $5 FYI. We ordered 3 rolls. The Friday night roll, spider roll($17), and one other I can’t recall the name of ($20) The best roll was the Friday night roll $22. Service was wonderful and inviting. Apparently they have the largest selection of sake/ Japanese whiskey in Dallas. A bit pricey considering our total came out to $60 something bucks for three rolls - no drinks. We ate at 5:30 so it was completely empty so super quiet.
Server got dishes wrong twice. Had to tell another server to fix it. Extremely busy
No masks worn by manager. Food was terrible. Service terrible. Dining room was like a party dance club.
The food was not good especially for the price. Very overpriced. The environment and service were exceptional!
Excellent service, unbelievable selection of sake, interesting modern atmosphere with beautiful art. We had a variety of appetizers, sushi rolls, and main entrees and it was all delicious.
Excellent Japanese Food, the best deserts!! you have to try all the ice creams
One of the three dishes was delicious, the other two were very disappointing and overpriced
Took a while for the server to come to our table but everything else was fantastic!
I went here twice in one week, both times with reservations, and they made me wait over 40 minutes for my table each time. Service is sub par but food is amazing.
Came here for a birthday celebration. I was blown away by the attention and care that went into the special occasion. Food and service was great, and even came with an exciting birthday dessert. We enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing food & drinks. I’ll definitely be back there!
The owners are so nice and accommodating. My friend and I had a great time while we were there. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Love the Speakeasy Akai. You must get there and visit both if you haven't!
Always delicious and a good time. Favorite sushi spot in Dallas for sure!
Great experience. Loved the food. Definitely packed given it’s a pandemic
Fabulous Food & Best service.
We always love coming to Musume. Matt takes such good care of us. The food is outstanding, great sake and whiskey list, large booths allow for more social distance from other guests. We love Musume and celebrate here often!
Food was excellent! I love that the use real snow crab instead of imitation on their rolls and fresh wasabi
Great food. Location is
Top notch. And did I mention the food?!?
Best sushi I've had short of Nobu in Las Vegas, at a substantially lower price point. Great service, attentive owners. A special evening. Make sure to ask about the speakeasy.
Great service. Very accommodating to our needs , and Kendall is an awesome waiter
This is the second time we have been so Musume for a special occasion and it did not disappoint! The food was incredible with great vegan options! Our server was very kind, warm, and knowledgeable. The service was quick and professional. This place knows how to take care of its customers. We will continue to make Musume a special date night place for us.
Loved! Great service and great food. Highly recommend
Our server was fantastic, and the sushi was the freshest sushi I ever had! The ton gyoza was also really good! When I made the reservation I selected that it was for a birthday (my husband) and they brought him a fried ice cream at the end.
Fantastic good, fantastic service. The manager came out and spoke to us, gave us a new appetizer they are trying out, and was so hospitable. I’ve never had such a fun dining experience!
Every time I go to Musume it’s same consistency in service and that’s just GREAT.
We had a great time and loved our server!
Good food but very small portions. The appetizer was bigger than the main course.
Amazing food and excellent service. Our waitress had tried everything on the menu, which is not only a good sign of the quality of food, but made her knowledgeable on what to recommend. Loved this place and will be back!
Always amazing! I only wish the server had been more transparent about the up charges. One of my fave Dallas restaurants.
Firstly, the manager wasn't wearing a mask and sat with guests, twice. There was no hand sanitizer visible upon entry or visible around the bar and dining area. I saw people leaving the bar, and I did not see the bartender wipe down chairs or the bar. One of the doors to the entry of the restaurant pushes in and the other you have to pull and it does not close properly. Which means you have to touch it with your hand and there's no way around it. In the hour and a half to two hours that we were there, I never once saw anyone wipe down, spray or clean anything. The menus are of a material similar to wood grain of some sort, I'm hoping that they were wiping them down. Everyone was wearing masks… Except the diners, who pretty much took them off the minute they walked in the door. There were three tables outside that were moderately spaced. The tables inside were appropriately spaced apart for social distancing.
We have eaten here three times. You don't get much food with each plate. With two people and a bottle of the lower end sake, plan on spending around $250. You won't leave full but you will leave satisfied. The quality of the food has gone down since the last time we were here. The cod appetizer is fantastic but very small portion for two people to share. The scallops were tasty, you get four medium size scallops. The side of brussels sprouts was very unusual. It was undercooked shavings/leaves that were pulled apart and blanched for a few seconds. Completely tasteless. I like to try specialty rolls because they are always fun & tasty in most restaurants. I cannot eat shrimp or king crab - all but one of their specialty rolls had one or both of those in it. The only one I could eat was the vegetarian specialty roll. It was delicious and filling.
The best part was the dessert. It was some kind of a mocha crème brûlée. We shared it and we both liked it very much.
The music was awful -it was club music on a loop. It did not fit the atmosphere.
Delicious sushi and great ambiance. Would definitely come back.
Amazing experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. We had first class service and the food was outstanding.
