Everything was extremely fresh.

Sushi is incredible.

We were celebrating a birthday. The bar was busy and hopping but we found a spot and ordered two of the musume old fashioneds. We felt for the price they could have been stiffer.. I did appreciate the smoked glass-it was a nice touch. The bartender sounded and seemed annoyed and after asking him twice to close our tab b/c our table was ready I just asked another bartender and she was on it. The dining room was nice and we all enjoyed the busy atmosphere. I ordered another musume OF at the table hoping it would satisfy my tastebuds but unfortunately again it was weak.
Dinner was good. We all enjoyed our food. We really enjoyed the Happy Birthday stuffed pound cake that was brought out -it was delicious and a really nice touch.

Overall extremely satisfactory

First time and it was excellent. The server made great suggestions. We are looking forward to making Musume our go to sushi restaurant

Very good food, nice atmosphere, a bit pricey but not out of line for the Arts District.

Headed to a show

Perfect service as usual. The server did a fantastic job of explaining the items we ate. Cannot wait to go back.

I can't imagine a better place to eat. The food is fresh. The staff is happy, which is rare. The manger is funny.

pre-theatre dining. waiter made great suggestions to help us make the show. The wild boar dumplings were inventive and earthy; cherry vinaigrette made it. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The sake flight is a must.

Food was delicious and very filling. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend! The Hot Mess roll was fantastic.

Musume is the perfect restaurant for date night, girl’s night, birthday dinner, etc. The ambiance is amazing and the food was sensational!

Nice Japanese restaurant for pre show night. Great selections and clear GF and V items on the menu. Easy to get to when going to a show in Dallas Art District!

Sushi was great. As well as the lobster fried rice and spicy edamame... sushi rolls took a little long
Drinks at Akai is a must

Simply amazing!

Requested a table with privacy as I would be dining while conducting a private phone call and recording for my podcast. They accommodated without question and even gave me a larger table which was not even requested. The service was impeccable and both the server and the manager went above and beyond to provide seemless service. The atmosphere is sleek and modern and the food was impeccable. I highly recommend!

This was our second time to Musume. Our first experience a few weeks ago was good. This experience was awful. We were there at 6 pm to make sure that we had plenty of time before the 7:30 symphony. Our waiter was slow at first to attend our table, but then did take our order. We ordered two appetizers that were delivered at separate times, about 10 minutes apart. Then for our main course - my meal was delivered and but not my wife’s. After about 5 minutes we waved the waiter down and he said her meal should be coming right out. Ten (10) minutes later I was walking around the restaurant trying to find our waiter - no manager in sight. When he finally came to the table and we expressed our frustration - he didn’t even apologize. Just said it was the Chef’s fault. We love the concept of the Musume, but I cannot recommend it, nor will we be returning anytime soon.

We always experience excellent service at Musume. The food is very good and there are always some interesting specials. This is the perfect place for a dinner before the symphony or opera, since you only need to cross the street to your destination.

Beef short rib special was one of best dishes o have ever had at any restaurant. Perfect in every way. Begging them to put it on the regular menu!

What a great dining experience. We came before the show and the restaurant was busy. The owner was very nice. The server was efficient. The food was perfect. Great Sunday night.

I have taken out of town guest to Musume several times, never disappoints and my guest always love it! I suggest ordering lots of food and sharing- there are too many delish items to choose from! I do LOVE the dynamite lobster, the okra, the yellowtail.... I could keep going! Great place. Highly recommend.

Great service last night made our evening wonderful! Our server was truly attentive and noticed I had a card on the table at my friends spot before she arrived. She asked if we were celebrating a birthday and arranged a dessert to celebrate. She was fantastic throughout dinner. Musume is beautiful and the food is very good. It can be a little on the expensive side which is the only drawback to visiting more often.

The food was very good but the service was mediocre the wrong thing was brought to us 3 times and our server couldn’t open a wine bottle but overall it was a good experience.

First time pescatarian diner. Have read reviews that the food was excellent, so that made me weary of what to expect. The black cod miso was perfect. The snapper basil was superior to 99% of fish dishes I have ever had. I am not a huge mushroom fan, but it was recommended so I tried it. It was delicious. I ended with a peanut buttery vegan dessert. It was great as well.

Food was quite good, but the layout of the space n noise level are a bit annoying. If, as ours was, your table is on the perimeter of the sushi bar in main dining space, u may feel like you’re patio dining in Central Expressway. Overall, the dining experience is average, particularly in light of the price point.

The food here is AMAZING, fresh, high quality.
