Good food but pricey. Especially for the drinks: $19 for a Gin & Tonic.

We loved this place. The food was amazing. We were very hesitant because it was our first time but it was all amazing. The waiter suggested really good choices, great sake and it was my first sake. We tried a lot of small apps and little plates of foo but that was perfect for us. we were able to try a variation of foods.

Went back for our anniversary this time and needless to say, they knocked it out of the park again!

We are repeated nothing from the first visit (in terms of choices) and they were just as complex and flavorful as the first visit.

I implore anyone who comes here to not eat the house rolls, (while probably good) you are coming here to have a unique time right?

The honey maguro? Check

Golden Rainbow? Fire

Heart of Gold? An experience

The basily sea bass? Check

The bread pudding? Unreal...

The combo yakisoba, delicious.

Service also was on point.

Dallas finally has something special in this genre, enjoy it.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and the manager was fantastic. Our waitress was no where to be found pretty much the whole time and didn’t even take our food order because she was no where around. We waited awhile after we got our food for our sushi rolls and when we asked our waitress about them, she didn’t know anything about the rolls and came back and said they would be right out. Ten minutes later and no rolls so we cancelled them, which was a shame because that was what we were most excited for. Other than our waitress, everything was good!

Wow! Musume made me feel as though I’d taken a quick trip to NY, Denver or Cali. Beautiful decor, great vibes and the food! So good!!!! Our waitress was a bit rushed and seemed to be a bit annoyed by our questions but other than that it was a marvelous experience! Will definitely return!

Love, love, love this restaurant! Friendly, attentive service and tasty and creative food. We're finding ourselves buying tickets in the Arts District just so we can have an excuse to eat here before a performance. Among the best Pan Asian food in town!

Loved it. I felt cooler being there because the decor is gorgeous. My new coworkers and I went out for a buisness dinner and the shared plates were a great way to get to know each other. Cocktails and sake selection fantastic. Desserts are larger than you expect because much of the share plates are quite small. Fabulous service team that really worked together to create a great experience. Definitely do the fried tofu even if you don't normally like tofu :)

What a fabulous place! We were looking for a fun new place to go for a bachelorette party and heard great things about Musume... especially the VIP private bar. The owner personally welcomed us and suggested favorite menu items. The waitress on the other hand was a little annoyed with us and it definitely showed with her bad attitude & lack of response to our needs. The bride to be waited 20 minutes for a drink. Overall I highly recommend & will definitely come back again! Cool vibe, fabulous food, fun bar, etc.

We dined at Musume with friends after an evening at Dallas Theater Center. They accommodated our late arrival, and even kept the kitchen open for us. This was our third time at Musume and have always enjoyed it. Among our favorites are the crispy chicken buns (like an Asian fusion version of Nashville hot chicken sliders), the tempura green beans, the Black Cod, and the crispy lobster fried rice (which was a good-sized portion). We tried the unusual but tasty Friday Night Roll, which featured a light topping of nicely cooked salmon. (see pic). Everything here is consistently delicious, and our server was excellent. My only caution is that there are no real bargains here. But a great option before or after a show in the Arts District!

I would highly recommend Musume for dinner. The atmosphere and ambience are top level but mixed with the service and food selection makes it my new top pick for suggesting this place. If you are in the area and/or going to a show at the opera or performing arts center it’s in perfect location for that as well. Make sure to get on the list for Akai, the secret speak easy behind the restaurant. MuSt be having dinner to enter.

I didn't think I'd be having a bone-in ribeye and a lobster tail at a sushi restaurant but I'm glad I did. Excellent quality ribeye cooked to perfection. The other three diners enjoyed the more traditional sushi rolls and sashimi and loved what they had as well. Nice wine list and a cool atmosphere. Right across the street from the Winspear, so we were able to park in the Winspear's parking garage and walk to and from Musume...very convenient! Will definitely be visiting Musume again when heading to either the Meyerson or the Winspear.

excellent variety of food with an asian theme. Black cod musuko (sp?), duck leg confit, and lobster potstickers were all really great small plates. Only complaint is that the restaurant insisted on playing hip hop type music rather loudly throughout the evening. It forces everyone to speak very loudly when talking which only raised the volume of the whole place. Not a place for conversational dinners.

Usually, I'm not a big fan of Asian Fusion food restaurants as they aren't typically very great at any particular dish. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the food that I order. The lobster fried rice, High voltage roll, and miso cod were are very tasty. With Miso cod being my favorite of the three dishes. Also, the hidden speakeasy (Akai) was a nice addition.

Took a group of 7 on a Thursday night. To say it was SUPERB would be an understatement. From the time we walked in we were greeted with top notch hospitality. Our server anticipated our needs before we even thought about them. The food was not only beautifully prepared but came out perfectly timed. I was blown away.
