Fantastic food and drinks
Absolutely amazing food, service and about anything else you could possibly want. Amazing place.
Nice ambiance. Flavourful and creative menu. Great for a special occasion!
We ordered several small plates and sushi rolls. All of the food was delicious. The pricing is a little high, but we were still happy overall.
We came here for a bachelorette party dinner. They gave us a few free appetizers that were delicious!
We were really hoping to be knocked out of the park by Musume. We decided to give it a try after reading some glowing reviews and it was across the street from our broadway show. Given the price of the entrees and the described items, we were really hoping to be wowed with flavor but were just left feeling unsatisfied. We started with the spicy edamame which was delicious and then had the octopus which was bland and chewy. I would recommend coming here for drinks prior to a show - the drinks were absolutely fabulous - their version of an Old-Fashioned is amazing!! Hands down the best old-fashioned I have had. The Lavender Lotus was refreshing and tasty too. The papaya salad was next and again the flavor was just not anything special and rather bland. We had a vegetarian roll and the Miami roll and these were a solid B grade. Good, but nothing remarkable. Our server was fantastic and took lots of time telling us all about the menu and could not have been nicer. With the price of the entrees, we were hoping that the culinary creativity would really be outstanding and instead we both left feeling like our meals and food were good to okay.
Delicious, inventive dishes beautifully presented. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Lovely experience. We will be back.
The plus is the convince in the fine arts district. The food, for the price, nothing exceptional or that warrants a "can't wait to go back" feeling. From one visit one wouldn't expect that and one would need to better try more BUT out of 2 appetizers (Edamame cold as well as calamari cold) 2 entre dishes one good the other almost out of the freezer quality, the sushi roll was the best part.
Valentine's dinner was fantastic! The staff was completely wonderful and made our evening exactly what we had pictured. We got a tour of the back which was a nice touch and the food was outstanding to say the least. Highly recommend!
I'm a big food first guy and this place took dishes that I had tried in the past elsewhere and put them on a whole new level for me. My biggest takes were the 72-hour marinated cod, forbidden halibut, fried rice (yes fried rice), and the wasabi mash potatoes.
The food was excellent, and our server, Jessica, provided wonderful recommendation.
Great service & food!
My girls and I went for valentines: the valet was so sweet to us, the hosts and servers were so kind, everyone opened our doors for us, and at the end of our DELICIOUS meals we were given roses for valentines. How sweet!! The food was phenomenal also, and accommodating for vegetarians, looovveeeddd!! Truly an amazing dining experience, will definitely come again!!! I LOVED this place, did not disappoint!
Our first time there and it was Valentine’s dinner. Made a reservation online, made it a tad early and didn’t have to wait long. Our waiter was great, ambiance was wonderful, drinks were delicious and food was spectacular! My favorite was the lamb lollipops (appetizer) and my husband’s favorite was the Roller Coaster Sushi roll. I highly recommend checking this place out!
Great place! Love it. They continue to make small improvements that make each experience even better. Great service by hands-on servers, manager and owners. Pricing is no worse than any other high-quality sushi restaurant... Delicious raw fish just isn't inexpensive unfortunately. Sashimi and rolls are outstanding.
While the food might seem pricey to some, I believe that the miss is in the quality of the ingredients and the pairings Musume offers. Other Dallas offerings might be cheaper but they aren't offering the same quality ingredients that are visible and detectable to anyone with eyes and tastebuds.
Who cares how they pour sake? Focus on the flavors and deep combinations this restaurant offers and it will be clear to any, why this place is special.
We had a wonderful Valentine's Day meal and the Musume team absolutely were on point throughout the meal.
Been here several times first for Valentines was a great experience. Never disappoints. Service and management makes you feel wanted and appreciated. Going back with friends next weekend.
Musume reminds me of my time in Austin, specifically of Uchi and Uchiko which had similar vibes: a classy but comfortable place to have good sushi and sashimi, and enjoy a special occasion or date night. The service was great, everyone made us feel super welcome, and the sashimi was amazing, especially the Yellowtail Serrano and Honey Maguro sashimi. If you’re not sure what you want, ask the waiters, they had wonderful taste and great suggestions ready to go. The chocolate fondue for Valentine’s Day was a wonderful touch. We’ll be back for date nights in the future!
Owners and staff are always amazing. Thank you for everything!
Interesting fusion of Japanese and French cuisine
The food and service were excellent!!! They got us in and out of there so we could attend our 7:30 show at the Winspear!!!
Drinks took a while. Space and location in the arts district is superb. Sushi and roll prices a tad on the high side.
The restaurant was ok but the food quality was lower than expected for the location and price.
Excellent service! The small plates and sake did not disappoint. We will be back!
Fourth time and Musume remains a charm. We’ll be back!
Restaurant took reservation but then was not open. Ruined the evening for our anniversary.
I took my girlfriend for her birthday there. Overall it was a good experience, but I would not probably come back. I guess I have a problem with the overall value. We ordered two sparking waters. Total cost: $18. We ordered an appetizer of peppers. Two small peppers for $5.
When there a literally thousands of options in the DFW area. I don’t see a reason to pay such exorbitant prices. So I’m like “ehh”. I can’t really recommend Musume to my friends.
Super cool, the date sucked but cool place
Date night
Always amazing!!
Never go back
This was my first visit to Museum with my wife. We had a blast. The staff was very accommodating and I can't wait to go back!!!
I ate at Musume on a recent trip to Texas, and everything was fantastic. As a vegan, I always appreciate a restaurant that marks options for me to save the hassle of asking about every menu item. The portions were good, without being overly large, and the tastes were out of this world. The Super Fly Vegan roll was the best vegan sushi I have ever eaten. All of this is bolstered by attentive servers and a cool modern ambiance that melds traditional Asian flourishes in the mural columns and chic dining in the mismatched rugs and sleek architectural features.
This was the second time I have been to Musume and it is in my top three restaurants. The quality of the food is second to none which alone is reason to go, but also the owners take and active interest in ensuring you enjoy your experience and the staff are personable. It is a good-looking restaurant too! Give it a try!
Excellent food, service, and facilities. Staff was very friendly and menu helps you branch out and try different things.
First time here. Fabulous meal and service. Will be our new Arts center go to restaurant.
Service was great, food was good, drinks were my fave.
Awesome food and went out of their way to do something different for us. Awesome service too!
Service, ambience and food were very good. Good vegan options. Will definitely give it another go.
Great experience at Musume. Everything from the food to the service was excellent. We are already looking forward to returning again soon.
