My girls and I went for valentines: the valet was so sweet to us, the hosts and servers were so kind, everyone opened our doors for us, and at the end of our DELICIOUS meals we were given roses for valentines. How sweet!! The food was phenomenal also, and accommodating for vegetarians, looovveeeddd!! Truly an amazing dining experience, will definitely come again!!! I LOVED this place, did not disappoint!
Musume reminds me of my time in Austin, specifically of Uchi and Uchiko which had similar vibes: a classy but comfortable place to have good sushi and sashimi, and enjoy a special occasion or date night. The service was great, everyone made us feel super welcome, and the sashimi was amazing, especially the Yellowtail Serrano and Honey Maguro sashimi. If you’re not sure what you want, ask the waiters, they had wonderful taste and great suggestions ready to go. The chocolate fondue for Valentine’s Day was a wonderful touch. We’ll be back for date nights in the future!
Interesting fusion of Japanese and French cuisine
The food and service were excellent!!! They got us in and out of there so we could attend our 7:30 show at the Winspear!!!
Drinks took a while. Space and location in the arts district is superb. Sushi and roll prices a tad on the high side.
The restaurant was ok but the food quality was lower than expected for the location and price.
Excellent service! The small plates and sake did not disappoint. We will be back!
Fourth time and Musume remains a charm. We’ll be back!
Restaurant took reservation but then was not open. Ruined the evening for our anniversary.
I took my girlfriend for her birthday there. Overall it was a good experience, but I would not probably come back. I guess I have a problem with the overall value. We ordered two sparking waters. Total cost: $18. We ordered an appetizer of peppers. Two small peppers for $5.
When there a literally thousands of options in the DFW area. I don’t see a reason to pay such exorbitant prices. So I’m like “ehh”. I can’t really recommend Musume to my friends.
Super cool, the date sucked but cool place
Never go back
This was my first visit to Museum with my wife. We had a blast. The staff was very accommodating and I can't wait to go back!!!
I ate at Musume on a recent trip to Texas, and everything was fantastic. As a vegan, I always appreciate a restaurant that marks options for me to save the hassle of asking about every menu item. The portions were good, without being overly large, and the tastes were out of this world. The Super Fly Vegan roll was the best vegan sushi I have ever eaten. All of this is bolstered by attentive servers and a cool modern ambiance that melds traditional Asian flourishes in the mural columns and chic dining in the mismatched rugs and sleek architectural features.
This was the second time I have been to Musume and it is in my top three restaurants. The quality of the food is second to none which alone is reason to go, but also the owners take and active interest in ensuring you enjoy your experience and the staff are personable. It is a good-looking restaurant too! Give it a try!
Excellent food, service, and facilities. Staff was very friendly and menu helps you branch out and try different things.
First time here. Fabulous meal and service. Will be our new Arts center go to restaurant.
Service was great, food was good, drinks were my fave.
Awesome food and went out of their way to do something different for us. Awesome service too!
Service, ambience and food were very good. Good vegan options. Will definitely give it another go.
Great experience at Musume. Everything from the food to the service was excellent. We are already looking forward to returning again soon.
I enjoyed, to the fullest, the Japanese Nashville Chicken!!!! The service was excellent and everyone enjoyed their dish. I will definitely be back.
The bar is quite the happening place, but its noise and bustle does not interfere with the dining room. The menu is quite large and varied; you can find something for everyone. We had large plates this time, but can't wait to come back and try some of the small plates and the sushi.
Musume is my go-to in the Arts District--the food and service are excellent, and the ambience congenial. The only (slight) downside is that the menu, while very appealing to me, is a bit limited which makes me careful about who I bring there.
The restaurant is fantastic. Very expensive by Dallas standards. I think I am in NYC.
As a result, I only go once a month or so, but am never disappointed.
The spicy edamame is messy, but worth the effort, fyi.
The birthday cake was literally the icing on the cake.
Everything was wonderful! Specials were excellent, service was even better. Highly recommend!
We were very happy with the omakase which, on this night, included 2 sushi courses plus 2 fish main courses and a meat main course. Also enjoyed a sake tasting flight, curated by the sake sommelier based on my personal preferences. We will definitely be returning again for pre-theater or pre-symphony dining.
Had been to Musume several times before, but mainly for lunch. This was first time for pre-show dinner. We had another couple with us and shared several small plates. Recommendation from waiter was spot on and Alex, the sommelier recommended some excellent bottles of wine and sake. Will be back again!
On our 2nd visit to Musume we found the Japanese-style food to be well prepared and flavorful.
The staff was friendly and anxious to please. My wife and I will dine here again.
Waitress very personable, knew menu & specials inside & out! We were 1st-timers. One in party said sushi was okay, seabass was okay, teriyaki chicken w fried rice fair. No diet drinks available that evening. Ambiance nice, parking tricky. Good for dinner before AAC event.
One of the partners Kalil welcomed us and made great recommendations for food and sake. Top notch food for every dish. We ate way too much. Certainly will return next time I’m in Dallas
Great food, service and environment! Would highly recommend for a celebration of any kind!
It good. One of new favorite places for sure. Great and knowledgeable staff.
Excellent rolls, fresh and delicious. Staff is attentive. Restaurant is lovely.
Musumé was a fabulous and special night. Service was great and food was unique and flavorful. I thought our choice of the hot rock was not a good choice and since it was such a large investment, I thought I should say so. The chef-made dishes , so perfectly seasoned, were a more satisfying value than the novelty of the cook it yourself hot rock. Our guests loved the extensive sake menu.
Wonderful food and service. Great place to go katevafter a show in the Arts District
