All 4 of our meals were salty. Our waiter was unfriendly the entire mea. Overall all 4 of is left complaining and disappointed
Excellent food and service!
I have eaten here for many years. The food and service is always excellent. I've never had a disappointing meal.
Pork chops we're FANTASTIC! Great service.
Outstanding. Again and again! My son’s favorite Napa Valley restaurant. He had the rabbit. My daughter loves the pork chop. I had the fish special - it tasted like spring on a plate!
40th Bday lunch. Yummy!
Mustards has become our “must stop” in the Valley. Food is always excellent and the atmosphere makes us feel like we’ve gone back home. Never stuffy or high brow. Service is always excellent. Can’t wait to go back! And did I say the food was great!
My wife and I have stopped in to eat at Mustards every time we are in the Napa area. Over the 12 years of visits. We have never been disapointed with the food, service, and drink options. One of the best places north of Napa.
Although the food and service were excellent, the noise level was so high that I could not have a conversation with my dinner partner. The prices were ridiculously high. But that's the way it is, I suppose, when you go to a name restaurant in the Napa Valley.
Service was great, ambiance for energetic and fun. Food was fabulous which lots of detail and wonderful flavors. Would come back anytime!
Service was terrific. He ambiance is lively and comforting. Has a real sense of humor. Food was quite good. Cesar salad was very garlicky and just needed a few squirts lemon and was perfect. Would return in a heartbeat.
We love Mustards!
The service is great and friendly!
The food is easy and delicious!
The vibe is fun and you can tell people are glad to be there.
Love it a,
Excellent wine, delicious entrees (lamb’s liver special!), wonderful, attentive service, super clean bathrooms!
Our first trip to Napa and this restaurant came recommended by a co-worker. It was fabulous. Glad we had reservations as it was at capacity at lunch time on a Saturday. It has a very cool "diner" atmosphere but don't let that fool you - the menu is sophisticated yet diverse. Something for everyone. A definite "do over" next time we visit the area!
Everything about Mustards is excellent except the noise level, which is deafening.
Great experience overall.
Out waiter was the best one we had in our 6 day visit to Napa.
The food was just outstanding!
Food was great! Service was horrible. After ordering our entree we continuously had to ask our server for the next step of the meal. We waited approximately 15 minutes to bring our final bill after we told him we were done. Once he brought the bill we kindly asked him to split the bill, and ultimately he split the bill wrong. When we asked for him to fix it, he was rude and said he’s not a mind reader. He had a horrible attitude the whole time which made the visit awkward.
This place reminds me of an up scale old dinner. The onion rings are great! The pork chop is delicious. Get the lemon lime meringue!!! It’s fabulous!!
The food selections were varied from burgers and grilled tuna sandwiches to pasta and fish of the day. All of the selections we made were good and our server was very attentive.
Great job once again Mustards. Been going here for 20 years and your still hitting it out of the park.
This restaurant came highly recommended by several friends. My daughter and I were here from Atlanta for a l
Wonderful Sundaylunch. We have been coming to Mustards for many years and it is alway great!
Delicious food, but difficult to eat. salad had huge pieces of greens, hard to cut or double over on fork, very tasty. Pork chop delicious, but sauce was thin and dropped all over everything. Unpleasantly noisy. The man behind me was quite crude and almost shouting at his companion. Staff did nothing to quiet him.
Some of the best wings. They are smoked for hour's coated in brown sugar. Not deep fried.
We love the innovative cuisine at Mustard’s. The service is always efficient and friendly and they use only the freshest ingredients. Great wine list . The seafood tostada is always wonderful!
House salad vinaigrette was not balanced well. Crab cakes only fair. Bread pudding quite good.
Great food and service. Deafeningly noisy due to one big well-oiled party. Too bad.
Mustard's has been a long time favorite for great food and attentive, personable service. It can get a bit noisy and crowded, especially during lunch. None the less, the food is consistently superb with service to match.
Our dinner started poorly, and went downhill. We had requested a quiet table, and the hostess offered us a table in the middle of the room between two large parties. It was evident that they had paid no attention to our request. I objected, and the hostess gave us a different table at the side. My wife ordered the rabbit, which turned out to be delicious. I ordered the steak, and specified that I preferred it cooked pink in the middle, but not red. It came out cooked quite red. I sent it back, and had to send it back a second time. By the time it came back my wife had finished her entree, and there was no semblance of eating together. The manager offered dessert on the house, but I would have preferred that my $56 steak be cooked properly. If they don't know how to cook steak to the desired doneness, why are they offering it?
There was some confusion with the bill at the end. Also the food was cold when served. Choice of sides needs to incorporate a variety of vegetables.
Attentive staff. Very helpful and friendly. Food was superb. Hubby had the smoked ribs which were heavenly. I had the parpadelle with rabbit ragout. Al dente with just the right amount of sauce.
Wine selection of course was diverse and knowledgable.
Everything about this place is excellent! I like that they have a daily chalkboard of specials that change frequently so there's always something new and interesting to try even if you have been before. The service is exceptional.
Delicious food, the onion rings were actually onion strings, corkage fee is $15 per 750 ml. Weird experience- the bill was $78, I used a $100 gift certificate, the server did not offer me my change, he automatically assumed I would tip him back the remaining dollars. While that was my plan, i felt it was rude of him to assume he should get a tip larger than 20%, and that he could just commandeer the remainder of my gift cert. Food is delish, but will not go again because there are so many other places to try.
We had an excellent dinner on a Saturday night. We arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were seated promptly. I love going out to dinner to eat things that I can't make better at home and am happy to pay for it. This was clearly the situation at Mustards except the prices were reasonable. The sauce on the pork chop was fabulous as was the sauce on the guinea fowl special. If we get back to Napa, we will come again.
Relaxed atmosphere great food. Service is pitched well. Never hover and good suggestions.
We were early so had a drink at the bar. Cocktails good, but expensive. We were seated at a table usually the size you would get for 4, we were 6. Overall the whole restaurant seemed cramped. It was an ordeal to get up from the table for any reason. I kept bumping into the person behind me and on either side of me. Staff are very friendly and nice. We had the famous mongolian pork chop, which is very good. We also had the french onion soup, which was over priced and really not very good. Worth more like $6, rather than $16. There are so many nice places to go around here, I would not bother going back here.
Wife's steak was undercooked. They knew right away but for the price, everything should be perfection .... calimari was OK. Soup was AMAZING .... bread great water always full ... pork was mouth watering ...
If you go to Napa Valley and miss Mustards Grill, you've missed a big part of Napa.
