Mustards Grill Ratings and Reviews
Vegetarian fare tends to be so-so at many restaurants. Not here. We split an appetizer, a salad and an entree (sweet corn and pumpkin seed tamales, three greens salad with spiced pistachios and blue cheese, and a mushroom and gruyere “burger” with homemade chips and pickles). Everything was delicious and went perfectly with the glass of Albariño wine I found on the extensive wine list. A lovely day.
Totally enjoyed our dinner and the service was top notch. The Salmon dish was very well prepared and they were able to work with my friend who has extreme allergies. The candle
was a nice touch to dessert to celebrate her birthday as well. I will definitely return.
We always reserve at Mustard's after visiting the area for a day of wine tasting. The staff is friendly, service quick and the food is very good. I particularly like Mustard's version of the Seafood Tostada. From salads to desserts, you'll find something great. Enjoy!
We have been going to Mustards with our daughters and now their families as a holiday season tradition for over 30 years. We all have our menu favorites and look forward to tasting them again each year. Everything is always excellent. Congratulations to the Mustards family for 30 plus years of consistently outstanding dining!
We have been to Napa many times and this is the first time we visited Mustards. It will now be on our regular rotation when we visit again. We shared the calamari and then had the pork chop and crispy sole. All were excellent, but the pork chop especially shined. Our service was terrific and it was great to meet Patrick, the owner.
Mustard's is a must-visit restaurant if you're in the Napa area. I've been coming to the Bay area for the past 3 years for work, and have made sure to reserve a table for myself and my coworkers for our final-hoorah dinner. The food is excellent, the wine selection is great, and the service is top-notch. Definitely make time for this spot!
Great food - good service and I only say “good” because my husbands glass went unfilled for the majority of his meal even though several waiters passed by our table several times. It wasn’t until our plates were cleared that they refilled his drink and he really could have used a refill while he was eating.
The food was AMAZING, desserts delicious, the service was great and they accommodated our request for an earlier reservation as we had asked! We talked about the pork chop, beets and the Hunan grilled chicken salad the rest of our stay in Napa. Everything was perfect!
We were disappointed with Mustards Grill. We were in Napa for a week and were looking forward to Mustards. The food was good but not especially good. Three of us ordered the pork chops which is the house specialty and we all thought they were just average. Our waitress was good, but overall the service was just average. I don't think we would go back - given the number of good restaurants in Napa Valley, but I would not discourage someone else giving it a try.
We've been to Mustards many, many times over the years.
Mustards (now) was just OK . . . long story short . . . it's just not what it used to be.
Prices have gone up . . . and quality & portions have gone down.
Napa Valley has way to many restaurants (Bistro Jeanty, Redd, Bistro Don Giovanni, etc.) to settle for a just OK food experience.
My party was disappointed with our experience. Dinner was quite overpriced for quality of the cuisine. I had the sole tostada . The sole was cooked nicely; however, I did not care for the heaping pile of dressed cabbage on top. My friend thought I had received the wrong meal — he thought it was a salad!! The waiter took forever & a day to bring us our check.
After hearing raves about the Mustards Grill pork chops we finally went to try them. They did not disappoint! All the food we had there was fresh and excellent. Our service was also excellent even though we had a picky diner who sent her fish back since she needed it well done (IMO it was cooked perfectly), but the server handled it as a professional and made things right. We will definitely go again when we are in the area.
