Wonderful restaurant and incredible food. Our waiter was very friendly. Great experience.
Great food, great service!
Loved everything!will definitely go back!
Our server was nice and very attentive. The onion rings is to die for. The Porkchops is one of the best I've had. Blue cheese is highly recommended with the burger.
dishes came out of sync got our food way before our drinks.
Fabulous flavors! Cocktails were great, calamari with Thai curry slaw was incredible. Adult grilled cheese was perfect.
Must get butterscotch pudding for dessert!!!
We had the option of eating indoors since outdoors was a bit busy (understandably so). I loved the indoor decor- think cape cod. There was a birthday group near us so it was a bit loud. That wasn’t too bad since it was for a celebration. The staff was great. Our server was very informative and polite. I had the chicken sandwich and my bf had the pork chops. Both were wonderful. We will definitely return for lunch again. Thanks.
great meal will definite be back in the future
Hanger steak was great
We stop in for lunch semi-regularly, as county guidelines permit. Great items on the menu and specials are particularly wonderful. Quiet gardens in back make for a nice date spot.
This lunch was during COVID so that has to be taken into consideration. We ate outside in a tent although there was some dining available inside. The menu has always been changing and the food perfectly prepared. Extensive wine list. Small dining area so reservations recommended. Highly recommended restaurant.
Great food and dog friendly in the outside seating area.
Another great visit although it was outside and a bit chilly.
Always a worthy spot when in the valley. Fresh, seasonal dishes along with fan favorites like the Mongolian pork chop. We also enjoyed a delicious beet salad, shoe string onion rings and filet of sole. My husband who is from Buffalo, NY had to try the wings - which are not traditional. The blue cheese dressing that came with them was very good.
Loved our late lunch, here! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I have a severe reaction to artificial fragrance chemicals (perfume, cologne, scented laundry products) and the hostess patiently helped me to find a relatively fragrance free place to sit - so appreciated! Great food in an outdoor garden setting!
Mom in town!
The outdoor dining in the garden is nice. Hoping they keep it post-pandemic. The only thing that was jarring was the industrial, metal tables mixed - mostly as it is a dramatic difference from what we know and expect. It feels a bit more like a pop-up food truck experience (ambience - the quality of food is still high!) and somewhat cold where the interior has always had a homespun comfort feel.
The ambience is also hampered by the hodge-podge mix of tables and chairs (The metal tables contrasted with regular, clothed tables from the interior). Last, air struck me the metal furniture may be unbearably hot in the summer months. Will be interesting to see how the adjust.
Service was very friendly. The pork chops with the house mustard was delicious.
Good service great food. It was a Happy Easter!
Inside is cozy but hard to hear with more than a handful of people inside. The burgers are amazing!
Great, as usual. However, it was very cold and windy outside. The heat lamps helped, but...
Enjoyed the foods as usual, and outdoor dining was great!
I got the porkchop, which was one of the most amazing food experiences of my life! So many layers of flavor and perfectly balanced! I would get that again and again. My husband's ribs were kind of dry and chewy though-not very tender (would not recommend). My lemon/lime tart was not good- the crust tasted burnt (I don't think it was burnt- it just had a bad taste). The menu called it their "famous" lemon/lime tart. Im not sure why its famous. Its not very good.
Service was a little lacking. We had to wait a while for our server to come back to our table each time. But, it was dinner time.
Let me start out by saying the food and cocktails were really good . The wait was long - Outdoor seating was packed and service was really slow. He just had too many tables to wait on. But everyone was super pleasant !
Wonderful experience. Friendly service from everyone, delicious food and beautiful atmosphere. We do recommend making reservations.
Mustards has an eclectic menu that touches all the right bases, but offers unique takes on some favorites. The Seared Ahi Tuna Burger is delicious, as is the tuna tartare on crackers. They have terrific salads and appetizers, and the main courses are savory and hearty. Great value as well!
I ordered the ribeye & calamari salad. The salad had a great theme but couldn’t taste much flavor in the dressing. The ribeye was just ok, not that tender & pricey. Should’ve tried the pork chop perhaps. My daughter ordered the skirt steak and said it was just “ok”. The chocolate desert was swimming in chocolate & we couldn’t eat too much of it. Overall, I think the place is overpriced for what we had.
As a local, this remain my lifelong “go too” favorite for great good and outstanding service.
Great ribeye steak cooked perfectly and salmon tostada. Onion rings were amazing. Thanks for great food!
For nearly 35 years this restaurant has been on our favorites list. The food, service, atmosphere - exceptional.
We always enjoy Mustards Grill. The food is superb. As they say on their menu "Sorry, everything is great".
Looking forward to our next visit.
The crab cakes and the chicken wings! Probably the best chicken wings I have ever had.
No review. Opentable insists I write something but the stars I have say it all.
A wonderful return visit to one of our favorite restaurants. We haven't been in many years but will be dining more regularly when we are in the Valley.
We picked Mustards as one of the top four rated restaurants in Napa area. My partner ordered baby back ribs which came so hard he couldn't cut them apart. My meatloaf was flavorless and less than impressive. I went back online to see why I picked this restaurant.
Very high ratings but seemed I missed the memo that there are only two dishes you should order, either lemon chicken or pork chop. We were unfortunate to also get a waitress who lacked any personality.
Have dined here multiple times and always enjoyed their food and restaurant. Unfortunately they are not yet up to their historic levels. Food was average at best. Best part of lunch was the onion ring appetizer. One had the pasta of the day which, she said, was very good. Two had the adult grilled cheese. Mine had no discernible cheese and I ate very little. The other adult was satisfied with her sandwich though didn’t find it special. We noticed a sign indicating the restaurant was in the process of new ownership. I hope this meal isn’t indicative of the new direction.
First visit to Mustards in last 10 years and happy to see that the food was as good as ever.
Food was excellent but the restaurant is clearly short staffed. One poor old lady was the server for all the tables indoors. Don’t blame her for not being able to attend to us properly. She was stretched. We went there for our anniversary, nobody except the lady at the check in wished us. Not even a courtesy dessert!
We had the gourmet grilled cheese and the ahi tuna sandwiches and they were both fabulous. Our server was excellent and it was a wonderful dinner!!!
Incredible and as always food was delicious,
Sat outside with the sun blasting me in the face even though there open tables with umbrellas. Indicated it was our anniversary when making the reservation but received no special desert or consideration. Service was extremely slow and our waiter totally disappeared for awhile. But the food was good although the wine paring suggested by our server was not particularly good.
Dwight did a fantastic job of making sure we had a lovely lunch in the garden!
Great day! Great food!
