Dining at MUSTARD’S is always a pleasant experience from the moment we enter the restaurant. It’s amazing how genuinely attentive and courteous the entire staff is from greeting to leaving! Easily our favorite eatery in Napa!
Super pork chop with insanely good mustard sauce (ask for an additional side for the chop. Great red cabbage served with the dish
For the first time ever I was disappointed with the service at Mustard's. I don't believe that it was the server's issue. There was only one server as far as I could see and she was running around with little help.
Sorry but the staffs are absolutely not trained and definitely needs improvement..
Also felt unpleasant..during my last visit
Super yummy lunch on a Monday afternoon!
Service was great. Food was amazing! The only thing I didn’t like was the outdoor seating situation. I know it’s not their fault but the little flying nats are annoying as hell. Lol but highly recommended though 😊
Absolutely the best from the service, outdoor setting, and the food! Love coming here for special occasions - it never disappoints.
With crowds returning BIG TIME, it is always so comforting to know MG respects their reservations and are always timely!! We became 7 and could not be more than 6, so they sat us next to each other (5and 2)and we bounced back and forth!! Win win!! Place is the BEST!!
Iconic Napa Valley Dining. Have been eating here for over 30 years. Still a great dining experience.
Mustards Grill never disappoints! The food was absolutely amazing. Specifically the famous Mongolian pork chop, crab cakes, ahi tuna with crackers, and the pasta special (orecchiette carbonara with lobster and fresh asparagus!) Service is always impeccable. One of the best spots in the valley hands down.
We love Mustards! We sat outside in their amazing garden and had a lovely lunch. Hugo, our server, could not have been more helpful and kind, and his enthusiasm for the food he serves is amazing. We will be back again soon!
Service was off, slow. Couldn’t help but notice other tables that ordered the same item as me and my portion was half the size.
Beautiful new outdoor gazebo over their garden. Tables are distanced and you can eat in their garden. Plenty of heat lamps to keep you warm. Services was superb and the food is consistently delicious.
Great food. Fast service. The onion rings are must.
How wonderful to make it back to Mustard’s! It has been over a year, due to the pandemic, of course. We have missed you! We had our lunch outside, a first. The tented patio was effectively outdoors, adjacent to the restaurant’s front gardens. Lovely. Service was great as usual, and nearly all the servers we met were new. The food was its usual superb self…every bite. The three of us each enjoyed a still-generous half Caesar salad. Yum! I could eat that again right now. Our gang enjoyed the lamb burger, the swordfish tostada, and the chicken sandwich. Everything was tasted by everyone, and consensus: everything, every bite was awesome. No surprises there, although maybe it all tasted just a little bit better because we’ve missed coming here for a year. See you again soon!
The pork chop was tasty. However, presentation of the food on my plate terrible.
Wonderful dining in the garden. Our entrees were tasty and presentation was above expectations. The crab cakes were seasoned properly and cooked perfectly. The wine list is lengthy and made decisions a fun time to pick a selection. Service was excellent.
Food was mediocre
Very pleased with wait staff. She was very friendly and put us at ease. She recommended the onion rings appetizer which was scrumptious. However, the pork chops were out of this world--tender, cooked perfectly and so flavorful. We had a wonderful, relaxing lunch and will definitely recommend this restaurant as well as return for more delicious food.
Have the seafood tostada! That day it was made with grilled salmon - divine with that slaw piled high and black beans underneath. Ate inside, arrived early for our res. yet were seated right away. Lovely dinner!
Live dining outside! Food and service were impeccable!
Wonderful experience, especially as one of the first places we visited after the pandemic lockdown. Terrific people, too!
I hadn't eaten at Mustards in about 20 years. The food and service was outstanding. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to not charge for the one dessert we all shared. I chose Mustard's Grill to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday.
Good food and good service. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.
Delicious food, as always, and welcoming, friendly staff.
Expensive: yes. But the food is divine! We ordered the special soup (yum!), crab cakes (yum!), corn tamales (oh my!), pork chop (tasty!), and pasta special (really good!). You really can't go wrong! Great for special occasions or for the h--- of it. Highly. Recommended.
They have been consistently a great place to dine and have really reasonable good wines. Food preparation has been consistent and really good for a long time and service has and is still excellent!
All our food was great. Also loved being able to eat outside.
Went for the hamburgers. Found the calamari salad.Of course, the lemon pie. Great lunch in a fun place. Service was exceptional: friendly and efficient.
Great grilled chicken sandwich.
it was ok. was busy and nice but there are so many places in area that are amazing for better prices
Could not have been any better. The food! The service! We had a delightful time. The portions are generous. The staff are so lovely, friendly, helpful. Food quality is superb, the flavors are to die for. Love!
We had a late dinner at Mustards. Service was great, food was excellent and overall a great experience. We both had the coconut soup and prk chop. Highly recommend both!
This was my first time here. After an amazing day tasting some insane wine a few wineries, we were hungry. We were greeted with friendly faces and were seated in their beautiful garden dining area. We had the onion rings and cheeseburgers. The cheeseburgers remined me of something my mom would make. It was outstanding!
The food was fabulous as usual. The Martini’s were quick to come to the table and delicious. When we arrived we were seated outside. It was a cool and windy day, but with the space heaters we did stay warm, We did miss the indoor ambience. Don’t pass up the pork chop they are noted for as it was amazing!
We visited from north LA and parents from Bay Area. We loved the pork chop, salmon salad and wines by the glass.
The issue was with the wind that evening. Obviously not restaurants fault. My mom literally waited in car until seated. We had a heater close by abs was fine once seated. I’m sure 90% of the time, outside dining is great. My 83 year old mom says otherwise.
The outdoor dining area at Mustards was very well done with the space they had available. There were four of us and we were all very satisfied with the food presentation and taste. Our server was outstanding, her "style" and attitude made us feel comfortable and added to our experience.
This is a popular place and, with extensive seating outside, they were able to keep everyone socially distanced. For the number of persons they regularly get, I would have thought more bathroom facilities would be appropriate.
The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food for the most part was very good. The skirt steak was excellent! So was their lemon meringue pie. The wines were
good and reasonably priced. The one negative was the honey corn bread. It was truly awful. No, we did not complain. Perhaps it would have been kind to let them know not to serve it to anyone else. Likely, it was old oil or rancid fat. Overall, a place worth trying again.
Excellent I love the pork-chop.
