Since its beginnings as a local gathering spot over 35 years ago, Mustards Grill has blossomed into a destination for all who appreciate memorable food, superb wines and a warm welcome. Mustards food is Chef/Owner Cindy Pawlcyn’s mix of American regional dishes with global influences. The list of “Way Too Many Wines” represents the best from appellations throughout California and the New World.
Mustards is an American Grill, featuring flavors from around the globe. The wood-burning grill produces such favorites as Cindy’s famous Mongolian Pork Chop, Sonoma Rabbit, and the ½ pound Niman Ranch hamburger. The oakwood smoker fills the restaurant with aromas of BBQ baby back ribs, Wood Oven Duck, and our Oooeee Smoked Pork. Specialties include Seared Ahi Tuna on sesame crackers and Crispy Calamari tossed with curried slaw. The eclectic wine list features Way Too Many Wines from The Napa Valley, Sonoma, The Oregon, and Europe!
Food and service was excellent per usual. However, seated next to us was perhaps the most drunk young woman I have encountered. After practically knocking the table over when she was seated, she proceeded to eat with her fingers, food falling out of her mouth. Most landed on the table and she proceeded to recycle that into her mouth (well some of it) Thankfully she decided to leave midway thru her “meal” Her not quite as inebriated spouse followed her out. Perhaps they should have been asked to leave prior to that and not served more wine.
We love Mustards. Our first stop when we come to Napa 😍🍷👏👏👏
Excellent meal. Very cute place!
Best pork chops ever! Don’t forget to end with the lemon lime tart!
I enjoy going to Mustards, and have for decades. I only get to Napa Valley a couple of times a year and I prioritize eating at Mustards because the food is always good, the service is solid and the value is, well, good for Napa Valley. This visit was as satisfying as ever. We also had a great conversation with the family next to us. The Italian Chocolate Christmas Cake was a standout.
Mustards is my go-to place for my out of town guests. The food is fabulous. We covered land, sea, and air by going with the never disappointing pork chop, the perfectly cooked halibut, and an out of this world duck. We shared a lemon and lime meringue pie, which was truly extraordinary. My only complaint is I want to go there more often.
Service was very good. Food, especially the Halibut,
Mustards Grill is ALWAYS perfect in EVERY way!!!!! (I added four extra exclamation points to meet your mandated 50-character minimum.)
Excellent food and server! It was a great place to spend on my birthday.
Just the best bistro-style "truck stop" in the whole country, that's all.
A trip to the Napa Valley is not complete without lunch at Mustards Grill.
Each and every item our party of six ordered was delicious—from tasty appetizer to amazing desserts.
Can’t wait to return!
Always perfect! Great drinks, food and service. Love it!
Always excellent. Wonderful Menu. Come here every time when we visit Yountville!!
Great service and excellent food. Our waiter was very attentive and the meal pace was just right.
Very good food and a great wine collection. Attentive service. A very good choice if you're in the Napa area.
Had been many years since our last visit to MG and the overall quality remains outstanding. Our server Rhys was super and the food quality was terrific.
Definitely an expensive restaurant, but the food and service are absolutely outstanding. Everything we had was delicious!
While I would recommend Mustards Grill to a friend, I would not recommend they order the adult grilled cheese. I haven’t had a bad meal at Mustards, but the grilled cheese was not very good at all. There was too much arugula; it was too thick and was hard to bite into. The bread was too thin and was exceptionally greasy. It just wasn’t the quality that I have come to expect from Mustards Grill. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant, so I would still recommend the restaurant, just not that dish.
Good food, nice setting
A great meal at a great place. Great for locals or out of towners.
Nice restaurant with different options for dining. Excellent wine list and even you can enjoy wine flights. The menu is very good, friendly ambience and the staff was very helpful with recommendations. Reservations is a must. Will be back!!
It was good but not great , compared to other years. Service was rushed , appetizers arrived before the wine and my wife’s main dish arrived while she was still midway through her appetizer. We will be back but on probation.
Food was amazing
We haven't dined here in several years. Still an excellent wine country dining experience. Usually booked; but, we lucked into a table on a Tuesday. Give the Hanger Steak a try - totally worth it! Great wine list as you'd expect; up to you whether to spend the $7500.00 on that '07 Screaming Eagle Cabernet, though.
The food and service were outstanding. The burger my son ordered was great. I had the salad with blue cheese dressing and added chicken.
Dining at mustards is always a great experience. Pricey but worth it!
OUTSTANDING as always!!! One of my favorite places in all of NapaValley!
I have been coming to Mustards from So Cal since 1997. I have always ordered the crab cakes. This is the first time that they were very fishy and very fried. We also had the hangar steak which was great.
The staff was VERY friendly especially Christina the. Bartender. We really enjoyed our visit!
I have been to Mustards Grill several times and enjoy it every visit!
Excellent food. A bit too loud, but fun. The calamari appetizer was great.
Mustards has been a staple of our annual trips to Napa but this will be our last visit. We had a reservation but had to stand and wait for 45 minutes for a table. On being seated, it was so loud we could not hear ourselves talk and couldn't wait to leave. The server was knowledgeable and friendly and the food good. Too bad the ambiance is so horrible! There are way too many other good spots in the valley.
Great service and dining experience!!
Visiting Napa with friends. First time at Mustards. Food was delicious!
Fantastic place. Amazing pork chops!!!
This restaurant never ceases to impress. It could live on its laurels but never does. Great food, great wine, and an awesome, professional, friendly staff. A+
We will always recommend Mustards! Always a must on our visits to the valley.
Freezing as I sat next to a poorly insulated window. My medium hamburger came out raw. Manager had it cooked correctly but bun ended up stale tasting.
Had been recommended. Disappointed.
For the past 5 years, I have had my birthday lunch at Mustards. I am never disappointed! The lemon garlic chicken and the honey cornbread is delicious. Hope to get there again before my next birthday and of course on my next birthday!
