Since its beginnings as a local gathering spot over 35 years ago, Mustards Grill has blossomed into a destination for all who appreciate memorable food, superb wines and a warm welcome. Mustards food is Chef/Owner Cindy Pawlcyn’s mix of American regional dishes with global influences. The list of “Way Too Many Wines” represents the best from appellations throughout California and the New World.
Mustards is an American Grill, featuring flavors from around the globe. The wood-burning grill produces such favorites as Cindy’s famous Mongolian Pork Chop, Sonoma Rabbit, and the ½ pound Niman Ranch hamburger. The oakwood smoker fills the restaurant with aromas of BBQ baby back ribs, Wood Oven Duck, and our Oooeee Smoked Pork. Specialties include Seared Ahi Tuna on sesame crackers and Crispy Calamari tossed with curried slaw. The eclectic wine list features Way Too Many Wines from The Napa Valley, Sonoma, The Oregon, and Europe!
Birthday. Fabulous dinner of ribs and pork chops.
Excellent food and service, paired with an extensive wine list. Menu has something for everyone. A Napa classic!
Our favorite restaurant in the Napa Valley. Always excellent food and service.
The Duck entree was wonderful. My wife had the Duck, I had the pasta of the day and it was great also. The wine was too good. Always a great experience.
great- good spot and food. location is good and service is good.
Mustard’s came highly recommended from several friends and it did not disappoint!! The service was fabulous and the food was delicious. Get the pork chop!
Stellar. Consistently stellar - thank god they had the Campfire Pie I used to get at Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen.
Nrice server, professional but personable at the same time.
Food was marginal. The calmari appetizer should really be called a calamari salad. Very few pieces of fried calamari on the bottom of a plate with a big pile of a curry dressed cabbage salad sitting on top of it. It was tasty but if you expect much calmari you'll be out of luck. But what there was a lot of was SALT. Way too much, maybe the salt shaker lid fell off when being spiced!
Hanger steak was smothered in cooked onions that probably had Liquid Smoke added to their prep/frying. Once you removed some of the onions to a lower decibel, you could taste the steak and it was well cooked, tender and flavorful. French fries were good, but hard to screw up french fries.
Also had the fish tostada, again super salty and that cabbage (see above) was back, but not with the curry. I'd say the fish tostadas were just ok. Two of us at table ordered the fish tostadas and we both only took a few bites and had it boxed.
Mustards has fantastic service and wonderful food! Always is a special spot for us! Hmm.... love Mustards.
Mustards was amazing! So happy we booked this reservation for a fun date night!
The experience can be explained in one dish........Pork Chop!! OMG!!
It is the item that I get on every visit. There is nothing like it!!
The food was amazing as usual! I got the hanger steak with the onion rings. It was absolutely delicious. It was pricy but worth it. This has been a family favorite since it opened.
Always a great choice for very good food, wines in a casual setting.
Food was good but way to busy. Had to wait 25 min beyond our reservation time.
A lovely meal with consistently excellent food & great service by Lonnie
Food is always delicious.
We were visiting Napa with some friends from out of town. They just loved it. We always love it! Everyone’s meal was amazing but as always the pork chop is to die for❣️Our server was great. Very friendly, professional and made wonderful recommendations. We’ll be back.
Delicious! Lived up to the hype for sure. Loved the 3 greens salad, seafood tostada (special of the day was swordfish but they ran out so it was sole which was delicious), and calamari. Service was fantastic too. So many more items on the menu we want to try. People next to us got the pork chop which looked amazing and I believe they are famous for it. Get reservations. Highly recommend!
Great! Thanks for accommodating our vegan diet.
Worth going to at least once. Very good food. Ahi crackers were very good. If you order chicken wings, make sure to have a few other people with you; lot of wings for one person. Rabbit and chops were great.
Everyone in our party had the “daily specials“. One person had the surf and turf filet mignon and half lobster. Someone else had the lamb fillets, spicy pasta with shrimp, adult grilled cheese and hamburger. Each person had their own dessert including the double chocolate tart. We celebrated “ Family Christmas dinner”😊
We go to mustards annually and live it for special occasions. Service is always amazing but casual and not stuffy. Food outstanding. It is great for two or for a small group of a few friends. Always consistently excellent all around. We always enjoy the wine flights too and learn about new vineyards from knowledgeable waiters
Birthday dinner - annual trip to Napa
My Birthday n Valentine’s Day
Great food, great service, great wine; has become a regular stop on every Napa trip.
We were visiting from NY and your restaurant was fantastic!... delicious food and great service!!! Will definitely return next year!
Always a treat here! Love this place.
Everything I'd hoped it to be!
Always great, the staff is exceptional and the food is the best.
My husband and I truly enjoyed our dinner at Mustard’s. This was our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last. In fact, we’ve already recommended it to several friends. Our server, Julie, was friendly and helpful, with just a touch of sassy, which we enjoyed. The food was excellent. We’ll definitely go again!
This place is amazing. We sat at the bar and it was a treat. The bartender (sorry I didn't get her name) who has been there for almost 20 years was a delight, a real treasure.
Excellent selection of well prepared food. I think the cheeseburger is one of the best.
Server was spectacular! Food was consistently excellent. Everything was beyond what was expected. Favorite restaurant in Napa area. Have been going to Mustards over 35 years.
Best mile high lemon meringue pie! Share the pie!
Mustards was a great Valentine romantic meal we celebrated early in week before the rush.
Mustards Grill is one of our two favorite restaurants in Napa!
Overall very good. We had incredible reviews from friends and hence our expectations were such that we were slightly disappointed. Food very good. Service good but should have been better given there were so few people in the restaurant. We would certainly return however.
Mongolian Pork Chop was great.
The pasta special was bland and lacked seasoning. I sent it back. Service was good.
Would I return ? No, I think there is too many other options that may be better.
The service at Mustards is always great. The food is delicious. The hardest part is choosing what to eat, everything is always so good!!
Food was outstanding. We had the crazy good chicken wings, orichette pasta and a beef stew special. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasty. For a casual meal that’s far better than the fancy things you’ll find in Napa, Mustards is the best. We only wish we could have tried a lot more.
Our waiter was also very helpful with suggestions and the service was prompt. Overall a great experience.
This is just simply an iconic diner everyone needs to experience when they go to Napa.
