I'm have been here many times before and it's amazing but this time we were seated outside and in the middle of dinner the sewer started smelling and it ruined the meal. I was sick to my stomach and could not eat my amazing pork chop. If you go, sit inside!
Food was good. Highly recomend.
Love it as always. Great choice for refined casual. Excellent server who made a wonderful wine recommendation.
A beautiful restaurant. Appetizers are delicious but can easily be split between two people. We recommend the seafood tostada and the Mongolian pork chop. Lovely.
Food was fantastic!! Pork chop receives two thumbs up!!
Food was very good although our waiter did not place our dessert order twice.
Very good! I was hoping to have a non-alcoholic beverage made with fresh ingredients, but did not see any on the menu.
We were thrilled with our dinner for two and the service was amazing. Fresh, seasonal vegetables and fish. Great wine list. Wonderful last evening in Yountville. Memorable. We love the ambience inside, but there are lots of picnic tables under red sails and tents. Highly recommended, although I might not order the Baby Back Ribs again unless I am at a BBQ joint. It is too difficult to serve them in a full-service restaurant, but my mistake. The sauce was amazing.
I'm sorry they only offer the lamb burger at lunch as that is the most wonderful burger I have ever had. We had cocktails instead of wine since we had spent the day drinking wine. The Cucumber -Jalapeno Margarita was wonderful and the Meyer Lemon Mezcalita was unique and too good to slowly savor. We also had the corn tamales as an appetizer and the 3-Cheese Mac with dinner. Both are really good. And of course if you are a fan of lemons you must have the Lemon tart for dessert. It is basically a huge piece of the most scrumptious lemon-meringue pie you have ever had. This restaurant is a place I try to get to at least once every time we are in the Napa valley. It never disappoints!
Would recommend this restaurant. We sat outside and had a very pleasant lunch
Terrible terrible service.
When we walked into the restaurant there was no one at the hostess stand for several minutes, and although many employees got various things from the hostess stand, not one person said anything to us. When she did come back, although we had a reservation, she seated several parties ahead of us that did not have reservations, which was frustrating. There was very little to choose from on the menu that seemed appealing. We were disappointed.
Nice outdoor space witb tables well spaced. Excellent service. Creative and interesting food. Expansive wine list.
Flys outside, 1/2 size pork chops and other portions for full price 35.99@
Mustards is a Napa staple in terms of restaurants! It is always delicious food, beverages and perfect service!
Meat dishes were a bit overbooked and dry. The appetizers were better
Bartender was rude when we arrived. Otherwise we had a great experience. Server was outstanding
This was our lunch date for our 16th anniversary with another couple. We had a pretty awful server, though the food was delicious. I noticed the bread at the end of our meal and asked our server. He said it’s only available upon request and said it said this on the menu. I went and looked at the menu. It also says (in small font at the bottom of the menu) that water is available upon request - but he sure offered us water by asking if we’d be buying water, and we said no (and he offered us regular water). Seemed like he should have offered bread if he was going to offer us water. In general, he was largely dismissive and really soured the experience (we had to get up and ask other servers for water refills). “Nobody is having dessert right?” And we said actually we’d like to see the dessert menu, and did order one. He seemed to want us to just leave so someone else could be seated. We had driven quite a ways for this and it was a destination restaurant for us, it was unfortunate that the server was so dismissive. (Putting his name here seems to be in poor taste so I won’t). I don’t think we will be back next time we go to wine country for vacation.
Their “COVID patio” was a great place for dinner.
Very friendly staff. Waiter was excellent. We had quick service and food was delicious
I love the tostadas! Somehow I get them almost ever visit. This is my go to restaurant every time we talk friends to Napa. Lemon-lime pie is to die for
Met with out-of-state friend we had not seen in years-waitress kept asking if we were finally thru talking even after our meal-distracting. Many empty tables near ours and her constant comments were annoying. Food always delicious and presented well.
We were on a trip to celebrate our retirement and went there. Food was outstanding as was our waitress. I had her do a wine pairing with their Mongolian Pork Chip and she picked a Zinfandel and it was perfect.
Our meals were very good. However, we did observe Covid-19 changes. We missed the bread usually served when one first sits down at table. At the end of the meal my husband, who had the halibut special was still hungry and we asked about the customary bread. The server mentioned that due to covid they only serve the bread when the customer actually requests it. Hubby ordered bread after the main course but prior to the dessert because he was still quite hungry. The Mongolian pork chop was delicious and the lamb special feature was wonderful. Desserts were good, though the peach shortcake could have had a bit more sugar in the peaches, which were more tart than anticipated, even though they were referred to as having tartness overcome by the sugar and ice cream. I made sure to have ice cream on each peach-containing bite as they were just too tart for me. Next time I will have the lemon-lime tart or the hazelnut dessert.
Still a tough reservation to get in the Napa valley….. fresh ingredients and great service make for a memorable experience. It’s been 10 years or so since I visited, but on this most recent dinner the quality remains very high and the food delicious. I marked down for value because, wow, $36 for a single skinny pork chop is just a bit over the top. Those of you who know Perry’s in Dallas and their chop might have this one for an appetizer. Dining room was packed at 5:00. Definitely felt a little rushed as they are trying to turn tables quickly. Overall, a must do Napa experience and there wasn’t a crumb left on our plates.
Great food...service excellent
I had always wanted to try this restaurant, and it lived up to the expectations and great reputation. We had lunch outside, which is not as charming as inside the restaurant, but it was too nice of a day to sit inside. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable considering the Napa location in the heart of great wineries. Good service too. The meals were ordered quickly, and there were great local wines available by the glass.
We had a wonderful lunch - one of the highlights of our week in Napa. We ate outside amongst the sunflowers. Soup starter was totally worth it!!
A Napa Institution always delivers. Beautiful fresh daily fish special!
Mustard's Grill was one of the first destination restaurants in Napa and it continues to shine. Every dish was memorable. We had crab cakes appetizer, a garden salad, and split a grilled halibut entry special with a tomatillo sauce. Then their famous lemon-line tart, which drew oohs and aahs from everywhere in the room.
Mustards is a must-go in the Napa Valley - it's just an icon and the menu never disappoints
Everything I expected and then some! So delicious!
Mustard’s is the quintessential Napa Valley restaurant. Best crab cakes in the entire world as far as I know; excellent wine list; friendly capable servers. I have never been disappointed. It is wonderful to be returning to the “new normal” in our much loved wine country.
The food was delicious.
We sat outside and it was very comfortable. Our server was knowledgeable and professional.
We especially loved the lemon pie.
We had a great experience. Made a reservation, was sat outside near the garden, we all ordered the special cocktail which was delicious and our food was great as well. Our server was very nice and did a wonderful job.
I had Mongolian port chop and it was raw.
Siting outside it was dusty, cold and noisy from the traffic.
Food was not impressive. I had lamb, my gf has halibut. Although chicken looks better
Totally forgot about the “ birthday “ request noted when booking the reservation.
Server not interested , minimal service…
1) Non interested waiter who told us to look at the board regarding specials.
2) Noted a different level of service to other surrounding tables.
3) Served entrees over the appetizer plates.
4) Never offered refills
5) Kept cutting me off when I wanted to ask a question.
Still left 15% tip because I work in the industry. Normally a 25 to 30% tipper. Sorry
It was very loud and hard to have a conversation. The good and service are always good. Loved the fried calamari.
