Awesome food awesome service. Nothing negative about this place.
Great service, great food!!
Great service from Reece! He was so pleasant, engaging and fun! Really made us feel welcome. Look forward to returning when we are in Napa again.
This was our first time at the restaurant. It certainly lived up to its reputation and posted reviews. Food was excellent, abit expensive but we expected that. Service was superb. We will be back.
Excellent food! Extremely friendly staff!
The Rabbit is our favorite - we get it every time and love it every time :)
Some other customers were excessively loud, but the staff tried to talk to them.
Outstandingly consistency over the years. A must stop on every trip to NAPA. Fun and lively with great food, service and drinks
waiter Gabe was exceptional. we had a great experience after touring wineries. would definitely go back!
Always great. Onion rings Devine. Mongolian chop with mashed potatoes and sweet cabbage with creamy mustard sauce always a must but never disappoints. No room for desert but now a few hours later I’m craving the lemon lime pie.
We've been going since it opened 30 years ago. Best of the Best!
First visit to Mustards. We’ve cooked from their cookbook and maybe had unrealistic expectations. Service was good but not special. Space is fun but not interesting or special.
The sweet corn tamales were spectacular. Great flavor and so light (looked up recipe and they use polenta instead of masa- creative and explains why they are so light and fluffy).
We’ve made the hanger steak recipe many times and had to try it. The recipe talks about an onion jam. We’ve treated it as an accompaniment. It was served burying the steak. Way too over powering and sweet. The steak and sauce were wonderful but a sugar bomb onion jam didn’t fit.
Second entree was the baby back ribs. Very disappointing. Not falling off the bone- grilled to the bone. Incredibly dry. Saw a guy at another table on our way out sawing on his ribs with a steak knife also clearly unhappy.
Had high hopes but they get a C grade at best.
Great food and service. This was a nice place to take a lunch break from our Napa Valley visit.
Fantastic as always. Food was awesome, service excellent. Love this place!
Mustards lived up to our high expectations. The specialty cocktail was unique and delicious. The crab cakes were perfection. My husband had the famous pork and enjoyed it very much. I had the rigatoni bologneae (another speciality menu item). It was outstanding! The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked and the bolognese sauce was large tastiest I’ve ever had! It is something I know I’ll crave going forward. The service was efficient and friendly. We would definitely return and highly recommend!
Heirloom tomatoes, calamari and drink always delicious! Even my grandson’s chicken nuggets were good! Look forward to another visit.
Second time visiting, we were hoping the first bad experience was just an off day and it is so highly rated. Hostess seemed to be in a very uptight mood (we did have reservations and were on time - not early not late) and there was no smile nor pleasantries. Service was pleasant but slow and as it became obvious that we were not wowed by the food, very distant and slower. The food is the main reason we won’t return. We are locals and in that area a lot due to wine club memberships that we pick up. The calamari was oily and soggy under the salad which had an overpowering curry dressing. My Ahi Tuna was for lack of a better word, flaccid. It was cooked too long at way too low of a temperature so while the inside was rare, the outside was rubbery but also soft. My husband had the baby back ribs and they were dry, tough and ends were charred black. Not what we expect from wine country dining.
Lamb shank was great per my husband I had the burger and it was cooked perfectly. Another person had the rabbit and loved it.
We started out with the calinari and it was very unique because it had slaw on the top. It was very tasty.
Incredibly noisy restaurant even at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon. Could not carry-on a
nice conversation on my wife's birthday. Food is generally good (I've eaten at Mustards more than
20 times over the last 8 years) but the onion rings were very greasy. Also, Mustards continues to be
expert in the "short pour." They barely give you 4 ounces of wine. I ordered a wine at $22.00 per
glass and, because of previous experiences with their short pour policy, I found 3.8 ounces in my glass.
Finally, a snotty waitress who insulted my wife two years ago still works there. Even after intercession
by management, that awful person still works in this otherwise classy restaurant.
Loved the bartender and tge option for a flight if wines!
Food was great. We opted for the bar for dinner as dining room was busy.
Food, service and ambience is always perfect. Not fussie just comfortable.
Excellent service. Food very tasty and some originality. Would certainly return
Used to be my favorite burger. No longer. Stale bun, asked for medium, got medium rare, fries undercooked and tasted like previously frozen. Service was meh.
Great service. Great food. Overall great experience.
The food and service were excellent - Loved the Plum cake!!
We began with a peach/blueberry old fashioned ... I’ll be making these at home if I can master...it was excellent. For dinner we had an excellent soup which was escapes me now and a beautiful and tasty heirloom tomato burrata salad...not all heirloom/burrata salads are the same. This was a 10 out of 10. Dinner was the fish tostada and I had the Halibut. Both dishes even though very different were extremely tasteful dishes. Finished with a lemon-lime tart. Wish we had time to dine again before we leave. Definitely in my ‘notes’ for our next trip next year. K & M
Great attentive service and wonderful creative dishes. I loved the Halibut and the tomato burrata appetizer was fresh and delicious!
This is a great restaurant in Napa, although it is pricy. But any great meal in Napa is going to cost some extra $$.
The service was wonderful. My date dropped her carry-out box of risotto as we were leaving, and lost half of it on the floor. The server went to the kitchen and got some more risotto for her to make up for the loss. I've never seen that before, and was very impressed. I'll definitely go back to Mustard's.
So good! Had the hanger steak and the Mongolian pork chop, both were so good. The pork chop was sweet honey mustard flavor, the hangar was incredible. Loved them both, crab cake and Caesar salad were great starters. The service was the best.
We have eaten at Mustards Grill several times in the past 10 years. Our last visit was good, the time before this was not. It seems no matter how far ahead we make reservations we get the worst tables available.
Food and service has been good but not the 5 star we remember from before.
This is our 3rd trip to Napa and we just discovered Mustard’s Grill. We enjoyed the casual setting, wonderful service, and delicious food and wine. We ordered the house made chips and blue cheese dip as an appetizer. They also served fresh bread with butter and salt; so delicious! I had the Fish Tortilla with Yellow Tail and my husband had the Mongolian pork chop. Both were excellent! The wine list is extensive. I ordered a glass of Merlot, which I enjoyed with my meal. We topped it off with the lemon-lime tart. It was definitely large enough for both of us to split. We will definitely be back!
Great food and equal service! We had the rabbit and the seafood tostada. Fresh! Dessert was an amazing lemon-lime pie with a brown sugar meringue. Oh my!
Cannot go often enough.
Too loud! We couldn't hear one another. Food was just ok
Food was great. Service started out a bit rough but ended up being very good. We were there as part of my wife’s birthday so they stuck a candle in her dessert and still charged for the dessert. For the price, Mustard’s could afford to comp the dessert.
Amazing food. Truly. The ahi crisps and the Mongolian pork chop are a must.
Loved the garden and the staff was really friendly and attentive. The food was just ok but maybe it was just what we ordered.
Adult grilled cheese is amazing. Desserts are large and delicious. Highly recommend!
This was once again the best lunch spot in Napa between vineyard stops.
