Located just steps from NYC’s Madison Square Garden, Mustang Harry’s has been a legendary Midtown-Manhattan fixture for more than two decades, cementing their reputation in the Big Apple as a tried and true Irish pub and sports bar. This go-to spot for locals, concert goers, and sports fans alike boasts a sweeping 99-foot bar—the longest of any sports bar in NYC—decked with 16 HDTVs and a new menu of classic handcrafted cuisine, cocktails and spirits.

MustangHarry’s underwent a $1.5M renovation in 2017, which expanded and transformed the entire venue with tufted leather banquets, reclaimed wood walls and nooks, and antique fixtures and skylights that capture the rustic charisma of post-industrial NYC with an Irish twist.

Extremely loud! Had to text my dinner companion to comunicate.

Menu has changed and my food was terrible. Ordered steak sandwich, which I've eaten at previous visits, but was different because of menu change. Instead of slices of beef, I was given shredded beef that barely covered the bread. I actually felt like I was eating plain bread with cheese and roasted veggies. Fries were cold and beer was hot too!

Complained to waitress and she said she would pass info along to manager....whatever since I know it didn't gappen.

Will not be back again!

Food is ok, limited menu and soda tasted flat. Attentive service but overall menu and food could use a face lift

Classic sports environment. It was louder than it needed to be I think.
Great food, great service, just the music was louder than it needed to be.

The only problem I had was with the host , I made reservations for 6 people, two people cancelled. I was nice enough to tell the host when I got their that we were only 4 now, he said we would have to wait 45 min, I told him just give us the table we were getting for our reservation , he said he couldn't do that. so even with reservation we had to wait 45 min for a table.

Service was excellent but didn't think the food was quite as good as on previous times, but was still enjoyed. I would say if you are planning to go for dinner in the 5-7pm time frame make a reservation, they are great holding to your time.

My son and best friend of over 40 years meet here for dinner, drinks and good conversation before Rangers hockey games, and have never been disappointed! The food is good and the wait staff is always friendly and efficient. Not much more I can write. 5 Stars all-around...

The bar and restaurant were full with St. Patrick’s day celebrants, but that didn’t deter from the excellent food and service; becoming a favorite restaurant before concerts, hockey games etc. The specials which included Irish favorites were on point with delicious Irish beef stew and Shepherds Pie. The service was very attentive & we had a great time.

Went here for dinner before an event at MSG. Nice atmosphere in the back of the restaurant. Our table was wobbly and server immediately replaced it. We both had salads with shrimp and everything was fresh and surprisingly good. Would go back

I had been to Mustang Harry's many times before after sporting events at the Garden. This time, we had reservations, however we were led to a table that was right by the furnace, and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We asked the waiter if he could address the heat, but it seemed that his options were limited to do so.

The food was good, but not as good as I remembered, and it took almost 2 hours to be served, so I found myself apologizing to my friends since it was my recommendation to come there.

This place was fine for what we wanted. We had 5 teenage girls with various dietary needs, so this place had enough options for everyone. The food was pretty good bar food with some healthier options. The drinks were good too. We would go back if in need of some easy eats. The waitress was very nice, and caught a mistake on the bill very quickly.

Went here with a group of 6 prior to a show at the garden. We were seated right away, and the staff was fast, friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were great, and everything came out without delay.
We had a limited time for dinner, and we were all amazed by the how quickly they managed to meet our needs on such a busy night! Oh, shepherd's pie was fantastic!

Great option for dining close to the Garden before a Knick and Ranger game. They get you in and out quickly and solid burgers and pub fair. Great selection of beer and lots of tv's all over

In an area not known for many good restaurants, Mustang Harry’s is a decent place, albeit slightly overpriced. The food is a simple good food, nicely served in a plain environment. While Mustang Harry’s did not exceed our expectations, it did not fail them either. A good place for a quick bite.

We had the misfortune of getting a poor waitress. I did noticed that she was attentive to her other tables. Another waitress came over to discuss the menu with us but our waitress vanished. We had to waive her down as she walked by our table just to order food and another round of drinks.

Made reservations for two, but we were seated twice because the host was confused about where to put us. Waiter was incredibly slow. Got one order entirely wrong, and the other was poor quality. One meal was inedible...the risotto was so undercooked it was crunchy, and the salmon tasted spoiled. Also forgot to bring the salad dressing for salad and, when asked for a third time, brought over olive oil. Not empathetic to any of this and couldn’t rectify.
This was my 5th time here and was a stark contrast to my other experiences which had been tasty and efficient. But, had this been my first visit I’d never return....though it was so poor I’m considering never going back now.

We went to Mustang Harry's before a show at MSG for lunch. The atmosphere was great and perfect for adults and kids. Apparently some of the staff did not show and so service was a little slow since there was only one waitress helping all tables. Our food was very slow to come out and a couple of the orders were wrong. However, the manager came over at the end and apologized over and over and ended up comping our bill. It was very nice and unexpected. Up until then we were never going to come back. However based on the fact that the food was very fast and the atmosphere was cool, we will definitely go back again.

Went to Mustang Harry's prior to the Andrea Bocelli concert. Service was great, food was good. Definitely a fun place but more for the young. Noise level was where it should be for the crowd that was there. Seating in the back for those looking for a bit more quiet. Would go back again as it is a fun atmosphere.

Great place to grab dinner before a game at MSG due to proximity. Sports type bar & food. Nice atmosphere, decorated nicely for Christmas season. Food & service was great. Note: Don't ask to sit at booth if you are under 5'3", your feet will not touch the foot rest. Yes, we would come again.
