Muse offers innovative cuisine in an upscale fine dining venue. This restaurant could easily be in Manhattan, Napa, or any other major city, so it's a pleasure to have this here in the Wisconsin northwoods. The reserve wine list has several outstanding offerings.

We went for Valentines Day and enjoyed the special entrees. Everyone is always so gracious and the amuse bouche and “amuse booze” are always appreciated. This has become my favorite local restaurant.

Loved Muse for the ambiance. We went during lunch on Valentine’s Day when it was really slow - so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The service was excellent. Very friendly. The table was comfortable and not over-crowded with stuff like some tables can be. It is a bit on the pricey side, meal-wise. The filet was flavorful and tender. The dessert was good. The cocktails were excellent. Very pricey, but lovely atmosphere.

Incredible restaurant I would recommend it to anyone. Excellent food, our server could not have been more friendly, plus she was very knowledgeable on both the food and wine. We celebrated my girlfriends birthday there, she was extremely happy.

Ellen is the best server always. The food was incredible. We had guests in from out of town (Los Angeles and Denver) and they were highly impressed.

The atmosphere is lovely, lots of white and original artworks by famous artists (like Picasso and Matisse)1
The wait staff was professional and polite and went above and beyond. The food was just delicious. More on the fine dining side for sure, but I enjoyed it very much. We are not from the area, but travel through often on our way north, and will certainly go again.

We enjoyed an early holiday dinner at MUSE. Larger tables were set to arrive around the time we had finished dining. I enjoyed a delicious Waygu Hanger Steak that melted in my mouth, served with Broccolini plus a Pumpkin Risotto. My husband opted for a Spaghetti & Meatball dish that was served in a covered casserole dish, piping hot, and two pieces of garlic bread. They make their own pasta here--you can't get it fresher than that, right? A little extra bite (a puff pastry with a soft cheese spread topped with Kalamata Olive slice) was offered before our main dish, along with a sample pour of a Sauvignon Blanc. Both were excellent. Service was great, and the prices were broad. $15.00 for the pasta dish, and my hanger steak was $29.00. Portions were plentiful, and we took half of each dish to go. So, no room for dessert. They also offer special entrees. A very contemporary decor, yet a warm vibe to the room. A small bar offers seating for those waiting for their table.

NOTE: When we got home I noticed a stone from one of my rings was missing. I called the restaurant to alert their cleaning crew, and noted to the staff that I realized chances were slim of finding it. I have not heard back from them yet.

Excellent menu and food preparation. The ambiance together with the excellent wait staff create a wonderful dining experience.

Our dining experience was outstanding! First we had Ellen, their most experienced and knowledgeable of the wait staff. We weren’t sure which entree and dessert to order and she expertly guided us to the best entree, wine pairing and dessert according to our taste. The selections turned out to be marvelous. The pace of the meal was appropriate as we were going to attend the symphony. I highly recommend the Muse for its staff, food, wine selection and ambiance. It will not disappoint.

We like to dine at Muse when we have a concert that same evening. The menu is limited and doesn’t excite, but it’s OK. Portions are small, especially desserts. Service is nice, but they don’t clear the table before taking the dessert order! Ambience is quite swanky for the area, but people in front of the window were cold. These are honest critiques, ways they can improve. But we like the place and will come back!

Great service and great food. We had the Tuesday pasta 3 course meal which was delicious and a great value.

Absolutely fabulous! It was the best tuna (special) that I ever had!!!! We dine is some great cities acrosse the US and this was super!!! Our waitress was wonderful and mentioned she was trained by Ellen (The Best) and she did a great job! The acoustics are amazing! Love the bartender and all his fun special drinks he makes! We always come early for this reason.

Enjoyed the decor. We had an attentive waiter. Never had an empty water glass. Everything, from the salmon cake appetizer, to the salads and seafood and steak we ordered, was prepared perfectly. Felt like an upscale dining experience. We received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. We'll be back.

We absolutely love going to Muse. The service is fantastic. The food is beyond wonderful. There's no where else we'd rather go. The overall dining experience is fabulous!

The Muse is our restaurant we like to go to for special occasions. It is a bit pricey but so worth it because we know we will get an exceptional meal. Do I wish it was cheaper? Yes, but there are always some options that are under $20.

Service was incredibly slow!! We were the only table in the restaurant at the time and it took 15 minutes for our waitress to bring me another drink and almost 25 minutes for her to bring us our check after we let her know we were finished. At $160 for 2 people I expected better service. I could understand if it was busy but we were literally the only table in the whole restaurant until we were about to leave. Disappointed

Muse was a lovely place for a date night with my husband. I knew it would be pricier than what we normally pay for dinner, but we had heard great things and were excited to try something new. Our bill ended up being $70 for the two of us, which was fair - the food was amazing.

The service was wonderful! The peach cobbler was great!
