Welcome to Murphy's Taproom & Carriage House, in Bedford, New Hampshire. You're invited to try the creative cuisine of Executive Chef Todd Lytle and his team, from Lamb Osso Buco to Waygu Shepherd's Pie. Our Bistro Filet is a local favorite. All of our ingredients are brought in fresh, and many are sourced from local farms. Even the honey for our Hot Honey Salmon comes from a beekeeper in nearby Derry. Besides our large outdoor patio, our restaurant features several private dining rooms for your special occasions, as well as our 300-seat Carriage House. We have 32 craft beers on draft, a wide selection of bourbons and scotches, and a seasonally-rotating cocktail menu. Announcing our inaugural Father's Day Carnivore Buffet! This magnificent outdoor festival of meat includes: Roasted Suckling Pig, Colorado Bison Stew, Bourbon Glazed Pork Shanks. Hunters Ox Tail, Wild Boar BBQ Sliders, Elk Lollipops with Blueberry Chambord Compote, Maple Fig, Glazed Duck Leg, Carolina BBQ Ribs, Cajun Dusted Alligator Bites, Hasenpfeffer Casserole, Prosciutto Asparagus, Honey Tarragon Carrots, Baked Potato Bar. We will have optional cigars and bourbon flights available. Live Entertainment (tentative): 12 pm Dani Sven, 3:30 pm MB Padfield. Reservations are accepted for 12 pm to 6 pm. I had the rib special which was gigantic! Apple slaw was decent. However the ribs were dry and overcooked. The others in my group had steak which was not cooked to their liking and came out rare. When shared with the waitress, she said she’d let the kitchen know. Nothing else, nothing comped. There’s a reason why you can get in last minute on a weekend night. We all agreed we would not be returning.

We dined for my 50th birthday with my family. Our server was so inexperienced that it took away for the relaxed enjoyment that a birthday should be. Didn’t clear the dishes from the meal before delivering desserts to share. Nowhere to put them. No sharing plates. We had to just pass them around and take bites with our leftover dinner forks.

The food was over priced for what we got. The sirloin was tough and over cooked. Not worth the $45 at all. The waiter was very kind but not great. Instead of walking to the side of the table we were sitting at he chose to lean across. Unfortunately he spilled steak juice all over my husband’s white coat and on my husband’s lap. In the fluster after we were brought the check without being offered dessert or anything else. I would go back for a sandwich but not for the cost of the dinner menu.

Friendly staff, beautiful table setting. The service was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating! The food was the best I have had . I got the filet with asparagus and mushrooms. It was delicious!! Prepared to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great service and delicious food!!

Katelyn our server was attentive friendly & just perfect. The owner was so gracious to me & my husband. The food was so delicious!! It was a very elegant Valentines Day. Our 42nd Wedding Anniversary also and to our surprise it we were given the BEST dessert! Thank you so much Murphy’s. We will see you again soon!
