I did not give five stars because I don't feel any restaurant in Prescott has that level of quality. I do feel that Murphy's has improved dramatically from our experience five years ago when a dinner was a nightmare. A friend said things were different and I have to say that they are. Prime rib was excellent! Service and general atmosphere was good.

unfortunately, we were sat for an hour and 10 minutes and never received food. We checked in 3 times with the staff, and were told they were understaffed and having a hard time. we waited patiently, assisted with our own drinks by going up to the bar after sitting for 30 min. They were very apologetic and comped our drinks as we left w/o being served a meal after losing our order ticket in the kitchen. We would have liked to dine there, but unfortunately were just not served. Oddly, the restaurant was only half full, so it was confusing that the staff was so taxed as not to assist us effectively in over an hour.

Well, I hate to take advantage of a restaurant, but I have to say that the half price bill from 11 to 2 Monday through Thursday made it even more delicious meal than we had expected. I feel like eating there every day. we had the melt sandwich that was my husband and I with absolutely delicious fries that my husband had and I had wonderful garlic rosemary mashed potatoes and our girlfriend got the chicken salad sandwich and she had the mashed potatoes also and we just thought our meals were excellent and just love the place!!! You need to mention the discount and also that you are a senior:-)

Food was was wonderful and on point. Autumn our server did a great job and pampered us. We appreciated the booth it made our evening complete.

The ahi tuna was shoe leather, very much over cooked. Choose the cheese soup which was bland and slightly curtled and tasteless. My Ruben sandwich was slightly OK but my salad didn’t have enough dressing. We had heard how good this restaurant was and had not visited until the senior offer came to us. We were very disappointed and will not go back. Our waitress was great and the restaurant is beautiful but something needs to be addressed on the food side, Bar food is better than we had today. I made reservations for lunch thinking this restaurant should be packed but there was only 3 tables full Why? Our server was very nice and attentive. However it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our meals. The chicken wings were good. Would not recommend the catfish. Prime Rib was average at best. Really loved Murphy’s years ago. They had the best house salad, potato skins, rotisserie chicken, tortilla soup. Prime Rib was much better as well. Not sure if they have new ownership?? Prices are very high for the food quality and long wait times. Hope they figure out. Will wait a while to return.
