Meh pretty mediocre. Had been looking forward to trying location and was disappointed. Dark enough that not certain of cleanliness. Pizza not sizzling hot (starting to get mushy under the crust). Hubby’s steak fairly thin. Cocktail list short and unimaginative and the “craft” beers were common varieties. Will not go back
Ive had alot of good meals there, but the wings were the worst ever! Little meat, dried out.ill never order them again.
Way overpriced buffet. I found a very long hair in my food. Service was poor.
We made a reservation for Mother’s Day and we didn’t realize that for a 1pm reservation we were getting a buffet for breakfast. Several of us didn’t eat and grabbed a pizza after. We’re not big on buffets so it was disappointing.
Overall, the food and service were just okay for a Mother's Day brunch. I've been here previously and had great food and service. The manager seemed a bit frazzled and unorganized when we arrived. He couldn't find our reservation so he told the hostess to seat us at the "community" table, with high chairs. It was so wide, there was no way to have a conversation with the person across from you. We requested another table, since in my reservation I requested low seating because my 75-year old mother was dining with us. He told the hostess to, "put them over there," and pointed to a dirty table next to the bar. We waited for the table to be cleared and finally asked about getting seated and were rudely told, "I told you that you could sit over there." Were we supposed to seat ourselves or wait for the hostess to seat us? We weren't sure. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. I'm not sure we'll be back, at least for Mother's Day; maybe we'll try Murphy's Crafthouse when it isn't a holiday.
Attended mother's day brunch with family. White the food was very good, the dining experience wasn't great. Our table was next to brunch line so between traffic and crowded walk way it wasn't very enjoyable at all. Our waiter wasn't very attentive and ask two different times if our bill was ready to be checked out while I was still eating. Again, the food was quite good but I'm not sure I would go back for the brunch.
The outdoor seating is very nice and fun. The food at Murphy's is very good and reasonably priced.
Excellent food, service was pretty slow unfortunately. Still would go back though.
Wonderful food. So flavorful. Everyone was happy with their meal. Great place to meet up as a large group.
Overall, Easter Brunch experience was good. Several of the items listed on the buffet menu were not available while we were there. Server was friendly and attentive.
Most of the bacon was not cooked all the way at the time we were eating and the food was lukewarm. My son and I went to see the chicks and bunnies, but when we got back to our table, the busboy had cleared all of our plates and cups. We were not finished eating. I kind of felt like we were getting pushed out the door and we had not even been there for an hour. I was very disappointed at this time.
Food was decent except the crab cakes we're not good. The service was terrible, our waiter seemed very overwhelmed. He would take one or two of our drink or food orders and then leave the table without asking anybody else if they wanted anything. We were there for two hours and only managed to get one drink each and and 2 appetizers. We left to go have dinner somewhere else.
Service and food all very good
We have eaten here before and enjoyed it so we wanted to celebrate our anniversary here. We were seated at a table that was not clean, a server walked by later and asked if we wanted cups and silverware?? On the wall it states Tuesday Steak Special. We were informed that wasn’t Happening.
Expecting a nice relaxing celebration, we were very much disappointed.
We had a great time eating and talking. Service was wonderful.
Murphy's Crafthouse is a great neighborhood restaurant. We love having such a fun, great place so close to home.
The food selection was very good and tasted great. The service was very good. Rhonda was a very efficient and knowledgeable server. Would highly recommend
We enjoyed it! We’ll be back.
Food is always great. Service fantastic. Had a reservation so no wait line. Ambience is welcoming.
Great place for Frisay Night Date Night. Food is always great and the service is stellar!
The waitress was not familiar with gluten free and made suggestions that were not gluten free.
Great food for the price, good drink selection. Friendly modern environment.
We generally love this place but this wasn’t our best experience. We were celebrating a birthday but staff didn’t acknowledge that at all. Most restaurants provide a complimentary dessert or something. A fruit cup would have been great in this case as the birthday girl watches her sugar intake. Also, one person in our group ordered a steak cooked medium, but it was rare at best. After asking the server to take it to the cook to put it back on the fire, it came back still too rare. He was tempted to send it back a second time but the waitress didn’t circle back in time to do so. Many restaurants will often provide an adjustment due to the inconvenience as a goodwill gesture. Several in our party had not eaten at Murphy’s Craft House yet, so it was a shame things didn’t go better for them.
Great food as it made from scratch. Not frozen or semi-prepared elsewhere then finished in the kitchen. Like sister location Murphy's Pub House. Have been to both. Outstanding for a neighborhood bar/grill.
Ashley is the poster child for a perfect server. She stated she has been there right at a year, but appears to know everything. Very personable and engaging w/entire table, knows the menu well, great recommendations, has a knack for being at table at right time w/a smile, and has pride in her job. All server practices typically compromised unless dinning in the southern U.S.
Our wives were happy, thus we were happy and will be back!
I’ve been here before, that why I made a reservation. I was unaware that they were closing at 10 PM on New Years Eve? Some how the guest needs to know this
We had reservations and still waited 1/2 hour to be seated with our guests who had never been there before. To compensate we were given two free appetizers but they took forever and the soups and salads came before the appetizers. Our waitress was great and kept apologizing. The food took forever but was mostly great. Cod fish was not good. Also they ran out of baked potatoes but never told us and substituted mashed potatoes without asking us what we wanted in place.
My husband and I eat there often and love it. Need work on big group serving. Kitchen was way backed up. Our guests were fine but first impression for them was not the best. We will continue to support Murphy’s but not sure would bring a big group there again.
Thanks. Hope this helps to improve in future.
Great food, service and environment. Live music was great. Loud enough to be heard, but not so loud that conversations couldn’t happen easily.
Usually fantastic but it this trip....we waited 20 minutes to be seated with a reservation and then waited over an hour for two hamburgers, chicken fingers and a fried egg sandwich. It was a disappointment and the waitress indicated she would let the manager know about the delay but then nothing happened. An apology for the delays would have been appropriate.
We didn’t have a good experience. The waitress disappeared for long periods of time(very long periods) we had to either ask another person or go find her ourselves. She was not attentive at all! Not to mention that it was a busy Sunday due to breakfast with Santa, however we were seated in the bar, against bar, against the wall, against the stage, right next to Santa in the bar! Our little bit of space was invaded by families, crying babies, rude waitress that needed things from the outside of the bar where we were already butted against. We eventually left after 1.5 hour with only having a drink.
Always great service and great food!
Table wasn’t available and hostess never offered another option. Never came to follow up for me as I was waiting for the table to be ready. I set with friends I knew that had extra room. They warned that the server was awful. SHE WAS. I came with friends expecting to order dinner. I was able to order an appetizer and that was it. She barely came back to the table at all all night. I had to request refills for my soft drink or go to the bar. My friends had to go to the bar for drinks as she never came back. She serviced other tables but not ours. Had to request my bill twice. It was busy but not packed. I’ll be back because of the music. Improvement in service definitely needed.
Good food and great service. Nicely decorated for the holidays too! Will be back!
First time there. Service, at least our server, was great. Friendly, patient, efficient, timely - around if needed, but never a bother. Beer selection very good, but should have local beer on tap. Comfortable, casual dining. Food was pretty good as well (atmosphere, service, and beer rule for me).
Services was good for a large party, no issues that were not resolved.
Great neighborhood place love it!
Murphy’s has the potential to be great, but fell short during our visit. We made a reservation for 10 adults and 2 kids on a Sunday for lunch. Expecting Murphy’s to be packed, we were surprised to find the restaurant only had 4 or 5 tables filled including ours. The waitress was nice, but our food took more than 35 minutes to be delivered. Being a larger party, we expected a bit of a wait, but due to the slowness of the restaurant this seemed far longer than necessary. Our waitress told us once our food was almost ready and we waited another 10 minutes. A manager never came buy to check on us or apologize. It was our first trip to Murphy’s and was very disappointing.
Shellfish Platter consists of shellfish that had been boiled ( there was quite a bit of liquid with it). I thought steaming it would be better or perhaps grilled.
There was a miscommunication with our server that was partly my fault. I was trying to order a cup of soup as an appetizer. I thought my salad would come later. When he served my entree, I asked about the salad. He assumed that I wanted it instead of a salad. I should have specified. He asked if I still wanted it and I said yes. It never arrived and he left the check on the table. There was a charge for it. I had to flag him down to get it removed. I felt like he was so busy hurrying, that he was also at fault. He should have asked if I wanted the soup instead of the salad while taking my order.
My husband’s salad looked great. I missed out
We went for brunch and were underwhelmed. Had been there for dinner before and it was great. They advertised a bloody mary bar, which was really sad with not much choices for garnishment. Breakfast potatos were way over seasoned. Serving team was not really aware of options for brunch either.
We really enjoyed the variety on the menu. Everything from steaks to pizza to salads to sandwiches. It is difficult to hold an intimate conversation without almost yelling. Overall very happy with our food and excellent service on a Saturday night.
