    I was so disappointed I’d been there before and had excellent meals I sent my lunch back and didn’t order anything else at least the wine was good!

    Our experience was disappointing at the Mural Room. We were seated by a post which obsured our view which is the primary reason for eating at this establishment. Our server was slow in introducing himself to the table and obtaining our pre-dinner drink order. The lady filling our water glasses was very attentative, though. We ordered two cesar salads with trout which were ok. The chicken dumpling soup and the the red trout entrees were very good. Acoustics were not the best and we found it difficult to hear our conversation at the table. We won't be back. Probably better just to have a drink on the terrace to enjoy the view.

    We had a lovely meal at the Mural Room. We started with the shrimp tostada appetizer which was amazing! My salmon was perfectly cooked and the burgundy mushrooms were fabulous! We definitely will return.

    We had to wait over 40 minutes past our reservation. Once we did get seated, it took over half an hour for them to come and take our order. The cocktails were excellent. The view was great. The bread was terrible. The food was cold. My salmon was over cooked the brocollini tasted like an ashtray. Overall not a good experience.

    Although the view was amazing, couldn't help but feel discriminated and slight racism from some of the staff and hostess (NOT ALL). It was apparent how poor the service was towards us compared to other diners. We were given only one piece of complimentary bread to share among the whole table and when we asked for more - none ever came. When we requested for a different table for a window-side view we were also denied the tables - hostess claiming they were booked by VIPs - but there were so many empty seats by the window and nobody ever ended taking the seats throughout our entire meal (1.5 hours) there. Food was also mediocre at best, prime rib and pasta was decent but the striploin was extremely burnt and tasted like literal coal. Overall, horrible experience and would not recommend especially if you're a minority like us.

    The Osso Bucco was beyond tough and not edible at all. We order a nice bottle of wine to have with our supper and they brought it after we were done eating. We tried to get our waiters attention but he had so many tables it was impossible. We ordered a drink first which came well after appetizers. Our waiter never inquired while one of the meals was not eaten.

    Of course an amazing view. Shades are drawn up when the sun sets behind the mountains. Everyone claps when the shades come up. We had the trout, chicken, and filet mignon which were all great. The pear soup was amazing. Luis was a great server. Spent the time to recommend the right dishes.

    The food in the Mural room is 5 stars. We enjoyed apetizers, salads, main courses, desserts and coffee. I would go back in a heart beat. The prices were comparable or on the lower side to a well run high-in restaurant. I highly recommend the Mural Room in the Grand Teton Lodge.

    The food for our party of 4 was amazing. Best filet mignon and wonderful service from Stephan. We look forward to dining at the Mural Room every year when we come to Grand Teton - one of the most beautiful places in the world.

    We arrived @5:55 and my res was @6:30. We were told they had to seat others first. I’m 100% sure the table we were sat at was empty while we waited. My brocollini smelled burned and was charred. So was my wife’s. The server was great. The view was great. Not a great pick for Gluten and dairy free folks. My Vegan son had one option out of the whole menu. So he had 2 orders of Udi’s gfree bread because he was still hungry. Such a fancy restaurant, they should have gfree rolls.

    The Mural Room has a beautiful backdrop of the Tetons. The food was okay, but expensive. The trout was a bit dry and the salad basic. Our sever was very nice. We absolutely love the old fashioned diner next door, which serves great food at a much better price—but no view.

    Our soup was stone cold. They tend to run out of ingredients as the evening progresses. However, we were never told that they had and were served the dish without most of the listed ingredients. They did comp us only after we complained. Their cocktails were great.

    Bison osso bucco was tasty BUT it was cooked way way too long. Even braised meat can be over cooked and this was the case. My wife’s filet was very nice and cooked to order but the mashed potatoes were much too thin. Both deserts , flourless chocolate cake and caramel apple cheesecake were poor, and certainly not worth the calories. In fact I commented to my wife that I think Costco has better. We have been visiting here for almost 30 years, this was the worst meal served to us in that time frame !!

    In a word, disappointed. Reservation at 7:30 pm. They were out of many things - soup of the day, main courses, desserts, even any bread for the table. The dishes ordered appeared to be missing items listed on the description. Possibly the earlier seatings had a better experience.

    Recommend with reservation. Took a long time to be served cocktails. Once they arrived, the pace of service turned into a fast food establishment. My advice is to tell your sever the pace you desire for when salads and entrees are served. That said entrees were excellent.

    What a view! Beautiful restaurant with spectacular view of meadow, lake and Grand Tetons. Unfortunately the food was kind of a mixed bag. Soup was fantastic, then came the main course with cold potatoes and average flavors.

    Nice option for dinner, with very good food and service. We had a late reservation but was moved up when we asked. Wife enjoyed the bone marrow appetizer and I the smoked trout Caesar salad.

    Two of our party of four had Red Trout. It arrived on a bed of cold mashed potatoes with cold broccolini on the side. I asked the waitress if it was supposed to be cold and she apologized and quickly brought me a side dish of each. They were only somewhat warm but I wasn't going to complain again. The fish was dry and only slightly warm. Very disappointing (both of us who ordered it agreed). The other two in our party ordered Prime Rib. My wife's prime rib was half the size of the the other one, and was quite fatty. Equally disappointing. Only one of our party was pleased with his meal - the one who ordered prime rib and received a decent portion. I would NOT eat here again.

    We had a delightful lunch looking at the exquisite view. Our server Carl was professional and friendly. Highly recommend lunch for a more budget-friendly way to enjoy the Mural Room. Enjoyed exploring around Jackson Lake Lodge afterwards, it is just spectacular!

    The atmosphere definitely makes this stop unforgettable. The view of the Teton Range coupled with the western murals make it! We had the carrot/ginger soup which was great and sandwiches with grilled broccolini. All was delicious. Everyone from the hostess to the wait staff was friendly and accommodating. They were short-staffed so we waited a bit for our food, but who cares when you are looking at Mt Moran and soaking in the scenery!

    Host were poor. Took 10in answering questions while ppl backed up way past reservation time to be seated. One woman with headdress did apsoluyelu nothing. She didn’t speak to anyone. Did talk at front desk. Didn’t serve or pick up. Ran ppl to table nothing more and said nothing. Cared for no one . Server capable. Nice. Food avg at best. Cold elk pasta. Ice cream melted when presented at table. Potatoes old hard. Salad weak. Not a good Caesar. Views great but would rather eat elsewhere. Would only recommend for views.

    It was an amazing experience. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. Jeremy was an amazing waiter. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal.

    Food presentation and quality were outstanding. The portions were generous. I especially appreciated the unique combinations of food. The chef is wonderful. I made reservations approximately 2 weeks ahead. We had a table next to the window, outstanding view. Overall, a wonderful restaurant and experience.

    My prime rib was juicy & delicious . The chicken was tender & tasty . However , the chocolate cake was too small . Felt like a child’s dessert . The service was good ! The view was beautiful ! Value was too expensive for the amount you get .

    Hard to reservations- plan ahead. The view is beyond beautiful. The food was okay my trout was way over cooked and my husband had prime rib - very fatty, grisly and overcooked. The only disappointing time from this wonderful hotel.
