This was my third visit and honestly it just gets better each time. The food is delicious and the portions are overly generous. We’ve never been able to finish everything when ordering the tasting menu which is incredible value. But the peak of our experience is always the service. I can’t think of any other restaurant in Toronto that takes this much care in providing such attentive service to their customers. It’s remarkable. You have customers for life with this family! Thank you for the beautiful dining experience.

Very limited food and sake choices. Minimum 2 people for the tasting set. Only 3 tables and no need to reserve a table. Eventually I only ordered a house wine and a sizzling pot of tofu.

This place made our friday night! The food was a perfect mix of traditional Japanese flavors with a creative twist. We loved all the dishes we had ordered—each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something new and delicious!

food was amazing and great ambiance! we visited on a weekday so it was quiet and not busy, so felt very private.

overall dinning experience was excellent. The service was great and the waitresses were kind and patient. The menu was not the most self-explanatory, just thought a little bit of more introduction would be more helpful. The dishes were amazing, the tasting is bit on the savoury side rather than plain, I loved it and so were my friends. The cocktails, though, needs to e improved.

We had the Bistro Delight set. Initially the food were fine (see later), but the timing weren't good. They serve like 2 courses together, and we had to wait for long time before next dish is served. It was not like the restaurant was busy (only few other tables have people around 6:30 on Tuesday night). We were quite enjoying the meal... until the steak and wings were served. The steak were really tough and chewy, they also didn't let the meat rest before cutting it as you can see the meat juice water flow on the plate. I ended up just swallowing the large piece of meat because I couldn't really "break them down" with my teeth. My friend actually spitted out the steak because it was too tough. The chicken wings were also pretty tasteless, we were very disappointed with these two dishes, but just accepted it was bad cut of meat. Then the waitress came and collect our plates and asked how was the good. We just mentioned how tough the steak was and they were chewy. We pointed out my friend's plate where she had the chewed but not swallowed pieces. We didn't initiate any complain - we simply explain they were not good - as a feedback. The waitress said "Let me tell the kitchen and see what they can do". We actually didn't expect them to do much since we were just providing feedback. Then the annoying part came. They (not just one) came back and told us that since you ate the whole dish, we couldn't do anything - "you should have told us it was bad before you finished the dish..." Like it was our fault. We were speechless! THEY ASKED HOW WAS THE FOOD, we were providing feedback, but they made it sound like we were trying to scam or get something. If they couldn't do anything or not interested in hearing any feedback, why bother to ask? Or why not ask us when they just serve the dish and had to until long time after we finished? That attitude totally ruined our dinner, made us feel bad. Will not go back.
