   I was attracted to this place due to its high rating 4.9/5. I have had Ethiopian food a few times prior to this but this place was tad bit of disappointment. The food was too salty, the injera was too thick. The price is a little bit higher than average good in Edinburgh, I wouldn’t have minded to pay for it the food was good. The waiting staffs are very friendly, and I wonder if that has compensated for the lacklustre in terms of the food to justify the rating. The ayib (cheese) was of acquired taste. The Tej does not taste as good as the one I had before.

   Muna and her daughter were amazing, the food is incredible, the drinks are delicious! So many amazing vegan options too. Had a great time and can't wait to go back!

   I just really love Muna's - the food, the place, Muna herself. It's usually absolutely hoaching in the evenings, but we were there today at 2pm on a Saturday and we were the only people there.

   Excellent meal and very good value. The six of us split into three pairs having different combo platters and trying each others. The spicy red lentils and the spicier of the two chicken dishes were favourites of many of us. My wife loved the lamb. My daughter enjoyed both the food and that the menu is gluten-free. The service was really cheerful and friendly, and there is a lovely vibe to atmosphere. Our friends who had not been before are planning return trips and so are we.

   Great food and service and a buzzing atmosphere. The staff truly seem to put their love into the cooking and the food reflects this.

   I absolutely love this restaurant. It’s great for families, dates, nights out with friends. Amazing value for money. Love that it’s family owned. Delicious food. Edinburgh has been missing places like Muna’s for too long!
