Mummy's is a really interesting Egyptian-themed bar/restaurant. The salad dressing was typical Egyptian, as were the lamb and vegetarian dishes. It was very quiet on a Friday evening before 7pm. Would definitely recommend this nice place to friends.
Unfortunately the food was terrible the man who was running the place was nice and it was nice and quiet. But the food was seriously cafeteria food. And for $15 a plate it was not worth it. For that price I could've gone to a much nicer place and been satisfied.
Place was a bit of a dive. Got seated where there was a leak in the ceiling and it dripped on my leg so we moved to another table. Vegetables were undercooked meat was tough and rice was over cooked. Would not recommend to anyone.
We like quiet places and good food. This was both!
Well, started evening with a cocktail. The bar was questionable. The ice came from a bag in a 6 pack cooler in a sink. There were 2 fruit flies in my drink. The resturant was run down and dirty. The food was meh appetizer dips were good. My 18$ shish kabob plate had 2 skewers, 2 scoops of white rice, Microwaved California blend veggies. The lamb was tough and unseasoned. This place has potential. Can they find it?
