Authentic and delicious! And this is coming from an 100% Italian girl who's known for her own sauces and rarely orders pasta dishes at a restaurant! Made reservations to dine in as weather was iffy. Cozy set up inside due to limited seating. Patios were filled when we left! A hidden gem in a neighborhood that is becoming more and more charming year after year! Can't wait to visit again!

It is a very small venue, call ahead for a reservation, you will absolutely love the fabulous food. Great food, wine and service. A classic and you will want to go back.

Patio seating was great! Just FYI- kids running around the porch all around our table due to Huddle Ice Cream being out the same building so just know before you go. The food is absolutely incredible, highly recommend!

As always, the team here ensures a warm, friendly atmosphere and dining experience. The food is like eating at your Italian grandmother’s house and clearly made with love. We were greeted at the front and the owner took time to welcome us back (our second time). It’s a unique setting with outstandingly friendly and fast service without feeling rushed. It’s really lovely! Don’t hesitate to go!!

Incredible, authentic Italian food in a quaint, adorable house just off Lafayette Street. One of the owners, Billy Jr., said they have the best meatballs in the country and, after having eaten at least four of them, I have to agree. Spectacular service, incredibly friendly and congenial staff. Literally cannot rave enough about this hidden gem. If you like rustic Italian food served with familial flair, you are truly missing out if you don't try this place!

Too overpriced for the quality of the food. The chicken fetuchini alfredo didn’t have any flavor. The sauce taste like it was from a can. For $24 you think you would have leftovers but the portion was so small. I will never eat here again.

Felt like dinner at my Sicilian grandmother’s house. The food was amazing, the staff was friendly and fun. The place is very casual and only 45 seats inside so make a reservation or plan to wait in the bar next door.

This was Jay and I first Valentine’s Day as a married couple and I’m so grateful for the great food and energy from Mumma Maria’s it’ll sure be hard to forget this one! Anthony our server was amazing, whom I believe was the head chef literally went around the room to make sure everyone was satisfied!!

We found this hidden gem last minute for Valentines Day. The restaurant is in a house. Entering this establishment we were pleasantly greeted by all of the employees. Our waiter Anthony was very knowledgeable and gave us many suggestions. We ordered the gnocchi and the Sicilian Ribs with pasta. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The ribs fell off the bone. Billy suggested the homemade meatballs that were so moist and flavorful. A must try restaurant. We will be back for sure.

Mumma Maria’s was entertaining for sure- like a carnival cruise line- Loud, cramped, and lively-our waiter was gregarious and sweetly talked us into family style dining for an experience that would be genuine and honest. The dishes provided were “good” - some excellent; some poor, but showed little diversity (tomato based sauces throughout), some we had to eat out of paper trays, wine was served in flimsy plastic classes, and all came with a fair to poor meatball. The meatball is significant- as we received at least 6 meatballs (not at our request remember- but provided by our trusted waiter) - and once we received the bill, realized each meatball cost us $4 a piece. $24 in poor meatballs. Add in up charges for “water”, the flimsy plates, clumsy glasses and uneven food, and the $280 bill for 4 was more reminiscent of a tourist trap than a delightful experience. Started out fun and with optimism but ended up disappointing and feeling hoodwinked.

WOW! What an excellent dining experience. Quaint place, great service and the food was outstanding! Anthony was our server and was right on with his suggestions. Pasta, meatballs and ribs were all fantastic. We will definitely go back again. Oh the taramisu was out of this world.

Early birthday celebration for our daughter. Were a bit behind on reservations, but killed the time at a cute little bar next door “Lady Bird” which was also awesome. The food and service at Mumma Maria’s was incredible!!! Highly recommend. Looks like they have an amazing carryout service as well.

Anthony was so entertaining and welcoming! The food was amazing and the experience was so fun! Planning to come back and call this “our neighborhood spot!” 10/10 BUT the liquor selection needs help. Next time we will being a bottle of fernet with us 😉
