   We had a tasteful and delicious dinner (Butter chicken, Lamb Vindaloo etc.) here. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. A must visit restaurant when you stay in Edinburgh 👍.

   I arranged a work get together for 6 and arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Apart from one couple there were no other diners for lunch. We were impressed by the decor and the food was good, served promptly and reasonably priced. All good up to now. 👍 At 13:40 the table was cleared and the waiter said “Do you want anything else because we shut at 14:00” OMG! How to spoil what was an enjoyable lunch.

   Visited on a rainy Sunday evening after a long day of travel...and we were treated to an amazing culinary treat in a top shelf establishment that was extremely clean and reasonably priced. The service was outstanding; our server was friendly, prompt and knowledgeable about the dishes...and offered on-target recommendations. Among the dishes we ordered: the signature Chicken Tikka, marinated in English mustard and yogurt, with a side of off-the-menu red curry sauce; Butter Chicken which featured a tomato cream sauce infused with spices; Bhindi Masala, an okra dish that was the best we have ever tasted; and Saag Paneer, a delectable spinach-tofu dish that rates 12 on a scale of one to ten. The Basmati rice was prepared perfectly...and I’d be remiss if I failed to mention our starter of Papadom and a Chutney Tray that offered three choices ranging from mild to spicy. We enjoyed draft Cobra beer (well paired with Chicken Tikka) and two bottles of the balanced and fruitful Cotes-du-Rhône Victor Bernard, a delightful French offering. The experience and value was exceptional...and Mumbai Diner’s Club is highly recommended!

   Had a wonderful meal here. A fine dining experience! Friendly, cheerful staff. Great ambience. The food was extremely good.

   We booked a Sunday lunch. Open table let us book for 1:30 but restaurant closed at 2pm. They tried to call us but our phone was off as international. The staff and kitchen waited. We were the only table so not much bustle. very quiet. Meal was so delicious (I am Indian, so know good Indian food - just saying.....). Beautiful room. Would be lovely for dinner and wish we had gone for dinner.

    Very fresh and delicious. Best saag paneer ever. Highly recommend the tandoori eggplant. Staff were attentive and helpful and clearly take pride in the restaurant
