Was a small but great buffet full of flavor. Staff was nice and mimosa's even better. haha
We had the Sunday brunch buffet, which was a little disappointing since I was hoping to be able to order off of the main menu on Sundays. The quality and selection of food was decent and not overwhelming, which was nice. However, I was a little confused about how much of the food was actually made in house, vs. received from a distribution company. In particular, I asked 5 different employees whether the apple fritters were made in house from scratch, and every one of them gave a different answer. Certainly some employees were lying, which was a little insulting.
my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary an elected to go there instead of the far more spendy restaurants and we did not regret it. Everything was amazing.
Got together with friends for breakfast- six of us!
Service and location were great, but a lot of my food was warm/cold. I definitely wouldn’t spend the money for hrunch again, maybe breakfast.
Well obviously the waterfall was pretty, but the lodge was quite nice too. There was a nice fireplace to wait by for our seats. Then we were seated in a very warm all glass area where we could see the waterfall and do some people watching. (There was ice on the trail so mostly cheering the people on who didn't fall) :D
Very nice evening
Nice, but could be so much more! Can't beat the location and (potential) view, depending on where you are seated. The glassed-in patio to your right, as you enter, has the best view of the falls, but only if you're facing in the right location. The main dining room to the left has a nice fireplace, but only a few tables have a view of the falls.
It really turned out to be a great morning with my friend and I for brunch. Lots of ice outside seemed to slow down the visitors. It was great for us! Thank you for the AWESOME service, food, and staff! ~t
best buffet ever..wish i could have tried everything.eggs benedict the best.
It's a very friendly environment, the staff was very professional and attentive. Great view and it was a very beautiful experience.
We went for Sunday brunch. A good selection of items, although I'd like to see more gluten-free options, like baked goods. The prime rib wasn't that great, but the salmon was tasty. A nice sunny, and cold! day so we could see Multnomah Falls from our table. Our server was pleasant & the ambiance is always nice.
"The best constructed omelet I've ever had," said my husband. And it really was delicious. We definitely plan to eat here again.
Good service, good food in a great location! This is a great spot to just sit and enjoy the log fire or the lodge view of the falls. The pricing is quite reasonable too!
It was our first time there and it didn’t disappoint!
Food was delicious, view was gorgeous, and service was friendly.
Great service and nice food. Problem is the parking, we went half an hour early but spent 20 mins circling the parking lot for a space and there's a lot of tension in the air from everybody frustrated with the traffic flow.
Worst buffet ever. Beautiful setting, but doesn't make up for the food. Very minimal choices and apparently some items ran out before we arrived. Unacceptable. The only beef choice was super bloody. Gross. Is it that difficult to have medium well available? No melon. Two types of cheese. No waffles or french toast. Weird eggs. Tons of deep fried food. Gross. Half a donut for dessert? Or 1/4 of a bagel? No shrimp. No crab. Everything had onions on it, those should be on the side. The only good things were the cheese blintzes and granola. The server was absent most of the time. Parking was horrible. We have a handicap parking permit and are restaurant guests and they wanted us to park far away and walk??? My husband waited 20 minutes for a spot and got into the restaurant shortly before they shut down the buffet. So kind, thanks.
Service and food was excellent.
The food was just okay. I had read the menu for brunch before we went and there were vegetarian options. When we got there we were told they didn’t have any availabile. It was disappointing to make a special trip and not have what they advertised. They did help by making me veggie sausage, which I appreciate.
It was really loud and we could barely hear one another.
It was a fair price for a Sunday brunch. We just wish the waitstaff was more attentive.
Brunch is always excellent. However, I reserved a table and requested seating by the fireplace and the hostess went to seat us far from the fireplace. I had to tell her I wanted a table by the fireplace and then it took extra time to get the table ready. When I make a reservation with a special request I expect that it will be taken care of before I arrive at the restaurant.
First time at the Multnomah Falls Lodge. Loved the Sunday Brunch! Great food and a warm and scenic environment.
Beautiful old Lodge set in a fantastic location, but not being kept up and maintained as much as needed.
Food was uneven, the French Onion soup was fantastic, very European in style (aka not drowning in salt). But the entree was not great, we shared the Special - shrimp andouille; it was okay but very one note. Dessert was better again - the creme brûlée’ was good if not memorable, the bread pudding however was fantastic. Made with cinnamon buns instead of other breads it had a wonderful flavour without being over-sweet.
Service was uneven, pleasant staff but gaps where you wouldn’t see them for periods of time. They seemed focused on Sunday brunch set-up instead of their Saturday evening diners.
Would return due to the location but would have lower expectations upon return.
Great place to make memories! A beautiful setting, friendly staff and great food!
We love the Sunday Brunch
We had a great experience. If it was warmer you can sit outside and view the falls. We ordered the classic benedict, sausage, gravy, hazelnut french toast, spicy bloody, and mimosa. Food was really good.
Always enjoy a meal here! Lunch or breakfast meetings work nicely. I make reservations, but often not necessary.
Great view of the Falls, wonderful salads, attentive service. Nice lunch.
Excellent food, service, and environment
Do not get the pork tenderloin, not appetizing to look at or to eat. Steak was good but plates just look thrown together. The service and setting were nice. The food needs to come up in standards. They had a little bar that seemed cool, never heard of either.
I've been coming here my whole life and it's always a wonderful experience! One of our true treasures!
I took out-of-town, first-timers. We all enjoyed the food enormously. The view of the Falls is fabulous. Glad to see that the Lodge survived the fire, and that the business was also able to survive the temporary closure. This will be a destination spot for any future visitors
This experience was a huge letdown. They used to have a great brunch - now the food is like the breakfast at a Best Western Plus. The sparkling wine was sub par (I think André) and the coffee was super acidic. The food was luke-warm despite having obviously being in the chafing dish for a really long time. I was really embarrassed as I took one of my dear friends from out of town, after having raved about the brunch there. - they used to have fresh salmon and a prime rib carving station. It was an overall unfortunate experience. Next time we will go to Timberline Lodge or Salty's on the Columbia.
On another note, dinner is pretty amazing at the Lodge still (or at least it was last August on my birthday), but this review is for the brunch for which I used OpenTable.
Beautiful lodge. Nice Sunday brunch. Got there a little early, hostess seated us right away. All employees were very nice.
We loved it
Everyone was so nice, helpful, great service
Yummy food, variety
Excellent food choices— very Northwest! Desserts were “to die for”. Our waiter wonderful and the food was served promptly. Our only issue for our 4 year old granddaughter was there were no “Shirley Temple’s” - she was happy with her Saven up, though. We will definitely be back.
Very pleasant New Year’s day breakfast. Our waitress was friendly and attentive .
Good food, excellent service, enjoyable time. Haven't been there before, but will go back again.
We waited 20 mins for the waitress to take our order. She find the seem to care we were there. Service is horrible and we walked out.
My family and I had Sunday brunch last weekend. The food was excellent with plenty of choices that even my six year old granddaughter enjoyed. Warm atmosphere with fire places ablaze, and the our wait staff was excellent. After eating it was a treat to see the falls, and take the short hike up to the first bridge. Photos of family and falls, what could be better. Our whole family enjoyed this dining/outing experience, and will plan more outings to the the lodge in the future.
It's real cosey next too fire and i had a smoked salmon omlette real good , wife had bacon and scrambled eggs really good food, coffee a little strong but a good restaurant
