Very nice the food was great and the service was very nice good tasty food
We do family brunch day on Sunday’s. We like Ilani, Summit Grove and Salty’s. The spread is great and a variety of foods for the more health conscience, vegetarian to the meat eaters. As far as price and food; you get the most value out of your meal ... far more than the other places I listed above. The staff was amazing super polite and the gentleman at the meat carving station was great cutting off all fat. The ambiance is awesome; quiet, fireplace beautiful views of the falls, forest and ferns throughout the dining area which is light and bright thanks too the many windows allowing for spectacular views! We love it! The only thing that would be the cherry on top would be a variety cheese tray! We love cheese!
We enjoyed our lunch, beautiful rustic ambiance with a view of the falls. I had the Oregon Trail Burger which was very good. My dining partners had Fish and Chips which they weren’t particularly overjoyed with. It wasn’t consistent, one piece tasty with flaky fish, the other two not the same, so a little disappointing. We shared the Bread Pudding dessert which was delicious. We will definitely try again.
I wish they had more options for kids, like basic pancakes. All the food is good and fancy, but kids usually like basic. Other than that everything was perfect as always.
Beautiful location. Great food. Hasn't disappointed yet. Our server, Jennifer, was beyond awesome. Coming for dinner during the week was perfect - no parking issues.
Firstt time date at a first time resturant. Given that it was a rainy day, we were seated by the fireplace, had a wonderful, silly, server, and the quiet ambiance made for a terrific first date. Unfortunately, the last date as well, whew.
It’s a good place to go for brunch. You have a choice to be near a great fireplace or the next room that has very high steepled glass roof with a view of the falls.
I’ll definitely be back!
Delicious breakfast and very generous portions.
New Year’s Day brunch
Highlight of weekend trip. Wonderful Sunday brunch before heading home
My favorite restaurant, especially during the winter. They had a huge Christmas tree and a real fire in their stone fireplace. You have the feeling of being in a small ski lodge. The menu is full of the best foods of the Pacific Northwest.
Good food and pleasant ambiance. The staff is friendly. All was well.
Enjoyed the experience. Even in the rain, Multnomah Falls was spectacular. Glad we had a reservation as it would have been difficult to get a good table. Excellent.
Christmas Eve Brunch, good selection of food items, delicious food. This is our 3rd year attending with our family. Reservations on line was great; they sent a reminder.
Great variety of brunch foods in an historic lodge with beautiful views of the falls! The service was great as well.
Multnomah Falls Lodge is one of the most unique restaurants in the entire NW. Situated along the Columbia River in the Columbia River Gorge, the lodge lies in the shadow of the 2nd highest falls west of the Mississippi. The stone building fits in perfectly with the surrounding paths and scenic highway which were built so long ago to provide travelers and guests the means to come enjoy one of natures most brilliant natural displays. Come see for yourself, your guests will truly be astonished.
Ambiance was great but highly affected by the smoke that comes from the fireplace. We have dined here a number of years ago with the same issue that doesn't seem to ever get solved. Unless you dine in the glass room during the winter, expect the same. Otherwise, food and service was great.
Had a weekday breakfast and the food was great, can't beat the view of the falls while you are dining.
It his our favorite place to eat for special anniversaries or celebrations. The food is always amazing ... And, weather dressed up, or stinky from a hike....they are kind and so welcoming.
Great view of the falls from the table, food unexpectedly good.
As always, delightful.
We've been to the lodge for brunch several times now. We love this place. Great food, service and of course the natural beauty. Love it!
Having a quiet lunch with a lovely view of Multnomah falls from the table in a room filled with the comforting smell of a wood fired fireplace, what could be better than that on a cold winter's day?
I had made a reservation, marked it was a birthday, they acted surprised we were there. Service was good. There were 4 in our group, fish & chips was ho hum, meatloaf sandwich was less than, winter cob salad was okay & country benedict was good. Overall was probably over priced for the quality of the food.
The ambience and food were everything I’d expect a classic lodge to be. Our out of town guest were very impressed.
On Sundays the only meal you can order until dinner is the brunch buffet. The budget is a smaller version of a Vegas buffet. Meat carving station, dessert station, sandwiches and breakfast dishes. Good was great and a lot to choose from. Great view and great deal. Only tough part is getting parking after 1130.
The ambiance inside the Lodge was amazing. We were seated next to loud kids in a large room where all other tables were empty, so they disturbed the space. The Falls are lovely, and viewable from inside the Lodge, making the experience better...
Brunch was excellent. A wide variety of food, each one I sampled was excellent. Fresh , eclectic, home style with a bit of vegan and gluten free thrown in. Desert table was amazing. Can’t beat the view in the atrium or the coziness of the fireplace dining room.
This was a birthday party I arranged. The ambience is always wonderful. I was embarrassed that the food was so uneven. The prime rib and burgers were a big hit. The bacon wrapped trout was enjoyed. Two people had the salmon and choked it down. It was brackish tasting, inferior fish. The Spanish dish was sent back and a salad ordered. Another person who says she never sends food back sent her dish back but I don’t have information on what it was. The creme brûlée was enjoyed. Four out of 10 dishes were unsatisfactory. This group usually doesn’t send food back. Again, I was embarrassed. I wouldn’t book here again for a group.
A little spendy, but it’s more than just the good food. This helps support the lodge and it is a wondrous place to dine, particularly the old section. And in the fall and winter. Ask for a table near the fire. Service has always been exceptional and yet casual and friendly.
The food was very good. We enjoyed the friendly and attentive service and the beautiful environment. We will definitely return in the future.
The food was great and so was the service. The atmosphere was very pleasant and nice for our family.
The lodge was pretty, but our server seemed unhappy to be working and was not attentive. There was a hair in my food and it just wasn’t a quality meal. I do not plan to return or suggest to my out of town guests.
I have been in the food business since the age of 13 I am now 63
This is the first review I have ever given It was great
We were late due to traffic the manager told me not to worry
we needed to add on guests the manager told not to worry
We wanted the best view we got it
The food was great cookery was spot on
The entire party enjoyed it the pricing was to low (raise it)
Even without the falls it would have been great
The only thing that would have been better than a 10 was if my wife was there
A very pleasant surprise. Look forward to having house guests again, so we can bring them again.
We really enjoyed our meal, especially the nachos. The ambiance was very nice, the service was excellent! Definitely recommend and we would go again before our hike to the Falls. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful meal.
We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Multnomah Falls Lodge Restaurant. The food was incredible & our waitperson was very nice. We will absolutely be going back the next time we are in the area.
We were there for brunch. Food was average but lots of choices. waitress not attentive at first but got better after we let her know we were there. The place could use a make over.
Lovely Sunday Brunch after our Autumn drive.
