Service was great. Salmon was not good.
So happy to get reservations for lunch! Lovely setting and the service was very good. We had the salmon which was delicious. Wonderful stop.
Everything was wonderful! Just be sure to give yourself extra time to get there due to parking lot closures and/or road closures due to slides.
We took friends to multnomah falls and decided to make reservations at the lodge for lunch. The food choices were unique and very well cooked. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our meal!
We had a wonderful time! A spectacular view of the falls, quiet peaceful atmosphere. The best part is the food. The trout breakfast was a real treat my husband craves. My favorite is the Harold Buck hash. It is delious. Not over powering in spices as most corned beef hash is. It was perfect. The Falls Lodge restaurant is our favorite breakfast destination and has been for several years now. We will be back soon.
Our favorite date place. We're 79 plus in age and have been coming here for several years. Making reservations makes a better day not having to worry about getting a table. Thanks.
This was the first time I had dined inside a restaurant in over a year. The food was amazing, the service was awesome and friendly, all the distancing/masking rules were followed. And after lunch we hiked to the top of multnomah falls. Can’t beat that location!
We had a great experience.. if you arrive between 11 and 12 you can order breakfast or lunch... both delicious!
We had a wonderful lunch at Multnomah Falls Lodge. It was a cool, rainy day and we enjoyed our food in front of the crackling wood fire. The food was great and the service friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back again.
We had breakfast and the food was good. I had the trout and my wife had eggs benedict. The atmosphere is great. We sat in the outer room with a view of the falls as we ate.
I've lived in the gorge for years and this was my first time going to Multnomah Lodge to eat. The service was wonderful. We had a lovely table in the atrium where we could see the falls. The food was enjoyable with the hazelnut cinnamon roll and biscuit, being my personal favorite. It was still a little chilly so the fire place was going adding to the ambiance. While leaving we placed a reservation to come back.
We sat at the very best table, looking up at the falls. Meal was breakfast, one salmon and eggs, one smoked salmon Benedict. Everything was excellent, even the hash browns. Homemade biscuit too.
Eating here is a historic experience, great for families or couples. Nice place to stop on the road or just before entering the Metro area, plus a visit to the Falls is always awe-inspiring.
Wow, the food and service was outstanding. Often at a tourist location you only get so-so food, but this totally surprised us! The Cesar Salad with chicken was delicious! Add a loaf of the lodge bread for a full meal! The berry crisp finished off a fantastic lunch. Who would think?
Very relaxing lunch. The atrium area is especially beautiful. Service was spot on and the food was excellent. Always like dining here.
I never dreamed the Lodge restaurant could be any better! I had a simple hamburger, but it was done with excellence. Husband LOVED his fishnchips. We had the mushroom appetizer and it was AMAZING. What a treat to spend time in such a lovely place. It was the first time for us to eat out since COVID hit and we are very careful about COVID protocols and was super happy Glen and the whole crew were careful and consistent in carrying those protocols out. Go for a lovely drive and an even lovelier meal experience!
Was nice , good food and great to be out of the city!
The food was mediocre at best, But our server was wonderful. Just getting out of Covid-jail with friends was refreshing, so we appreciated that the Lodge was open.
Hi Dianal, Thank you for dining with us last Saturday. We really appreciate the visit as we recently reopened the indoor dining room due to Covid restrictions. While I am thrilled your service was great and you were able to enjoy the lodge, I am so sorry we missed the mark with your food experience. We would love the opportunity to make the entire experience perfect next time you visit the waterfall. Sincerely, Jill W., Manager
The food is so good and the service was great. And the waterfall view is always beautiful.
I have cilliac disease and can have no gluten cross contamination. The kitchen was absolutely fantastic and even made me Eggs Benedict on gluten free toast--I haven't had such a great experience in a long time.
The view is absolutely breathtaking! We’d never been and so when I made the reservations we requested a table with the best view and that is exactly what we got! We could see the falls from our table. The food and drinks were incredible. I will for sure be visiting again next time I’m in Portland.
Lunch on the way home from a weekend getaway with my girls (5 & 10). Love the ambiance and view!!
Beautiful setting for brunch. Loved the 5.00 bottomless mimosas. Some of the food was a little cold but will be back. Great assortment of eating options.
The breakfast was great! Best french toast I've ever had. Since it was very wet/rainy outside, it was nice to be able to see the waterfall from inside.
I’m so glad we decided to have Sunday brunch on our way home from a retreat weekend in the Gorge. The food was amazing, and SUCH a variety of options for a very reasonable price. I’ve always wanted to eat at the lodge and it did not disappoint.
Sitting by the fire was perfect. Staff was kind and accommodating. The drinks and food were not what we were hoping for; it was a bit higher in price.
Very nice the food was great and the service was very nice good tasty food
We do family brunch day on Sunday’s. We like Ilani, Summit Grove and Salty’s. The spread is great and a variety of foods for the more health conscience, vegetarian to the meat eaters. As far as price and food; you get the most value out of your meal ... far more than the other places I listed above. The staff was amazing super polite and the gentleman at the meat carving station was great cutting off all fat. The ambiance is awesome; quiet, fireplace beautiful views of the falls, forest and ferns throughout the dining area which is light and bright thanks too the many windows allowing for spectacular views! We love it! The only thing that would be the cherry on top would be a variety cheese tray! We love cheese!
We enjoyed our lunch, beautiful rustic ambiance with a view of the falls. I had the Oregon Trail Burger which was very good. My dining partners had Fish and Chips which they weren’t particularly overjoyed with. It wasn’t consistent, one piece tasty with flaky fish, the other two not the same, so a little disappointing. We shared the Bread Pudding dessert which was delicious. We will definitely try again.
I wish they had more options for kids, like basic pancakes. All the food is good and fancy, but kids usually like basic. Other than that everything was perfect as always.
Beautiful location. Great food. Hasn't disappointed yet. Our server, Jennifer, was beyond awesome. Coming for dinner during the week was perfect - no parking issues.
Firstt time date at a first time resturant. Given that it was a rainy day, we were seated by the fireplace, had a wonderful, silly, server, and the quiet ambiance made for a terrific first date. Unfortunately, the last date as well, whew.
It’s a good place to go for brunch. You have a choice to be near a great fireplace or the next room that has very high steepled glass roof with a view of the falls.
I’ll definitely be back!
Delicious breakfast and very generous portions.
New Year’s Day brunch
Highlight of weekend trip. Wonderful Sunday brunch before heading home
My favorite restaurant, especially during the winter. They had a huge Christmas tree and a real fire in their stone fireplace. You have the feeling of being in a small ski lodge. The menu is full of the best foods of the Pacific Northwest.
Good food and pleasant ambiance. The staff is friendly. All was well.
Enjoyed the experience. Even in the rain, Multnomah Falls was spectacular. Glad we had a reservation as it would have been difficult to get a good table. Excellent.
Great place. Food is good. Make sure you look into the Covid status. Parking can be impossible.
