Delicious food as always. My husband and brother in law had the homemade ice cream for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed it

Had a lovely evening at Mullins Brasserie - good service & lovely food. Hadn't been to a Caribbean restaurant before, and thoroughly enjoyed it!

We ordered the Roti & Jerk Chicken which were tasty, although the huge serving of McDonalds style fries with the Roti seemed un-necessary. The service was awful. We ordered promptly and our drinks came quickly, but we then waited 45 minutes for the meal and had to remind them about our 2nd drinks order (the waiter admitted he had forgotten). We didn't hang around for dessert - there is a lovely bar next door where we finished the evening.

As always a lovely dining experience. Main highlight of menu for us is the swordfish. Good wine list and the Chapel down Bacchus is a great wine at a keen price. Service very good.

Our day trip to Margate, we wanted to end with some good food and came across Mullins. Looking at the menu it wasn’t a question we booked in. Offer of food was good and we were not sure what to order as it all looked good. I ordered a traditional chicken roti with rice and peas and plantain my partner ordered the special which was snapper. I was so disappointed to find that when the roti arrived it was a tortilla bread with chicken roti inside and was served with chips and salad. Not a traditional roti at all. When questioned I was told this is how they always served it. I sent it back and got jerk chicken instead. The jerk chicken was not jerk but seasoned with pepper and the chicken clearly hadn’t been marinated prior as it had no flavour. The rice and peas were bland and you couldn’t taste the coconut. My parents snapped also was just seasoned with pepper but no marinade. It was a joy to come across such a restaurant but really disappointing that there were no Caribbean flavours to speak of. Service was also slow.
