   Fresh, delicious, food, clearly made from scratch, all served in a bustling and pretty environment, where all your needs are attended to with grace. Haven’t been to a place this nice in a long while. This was a breath of fresh (Italian) air!

    Mulino is definitely one of the best restaurants in Raleigh! We had dinner outside and the atmosphere was so cool. The drinks were great, the food was great and the service was excellent! Megan was our waitress and she did a fabulous job taking care of the 6 of us!

    We were there for my husbands 50th. Service was very slow and the food was subpar. The risotto was inedible— campbells tomato soup with rice in it. Carbonara was not traditional, it was like Alfredo sauce. They took the best thing off the menu—cacio de Pepe. Won’t be returning.

    Hospitality reigns supreme at this beautiful and delicious restaurant! The menu is pasta and pizza heavy, but don’t let that scare you! The lasagna, claims are first time visitor that joined us last night, was sublime, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the pasta dishes are easily enough for two or four leftovers the next day! Everything was superb!

    We arrived for our 7:30 reservation for a party of 4 and was seated by the hostess outside. 15 minutes passed and no one has came to help us or greeted us but multiple servers kept walking by. There was 2 separate parties who were sat right beside us about 5-10 after us and they were immediately greeted and watered. Finally after about 20 minutes a server stopped by asked to ask if anyone has stopped by to help us and we told her no, so she goes to tell the host who then comes over to give us water and said someone will be with us shortly. After sitting for 30 minutes a server finally came to help us. I understand there’s a staff shortage but that doesn’t justify why every server kept skipping over us and two other tables who were sat after us got greeted immediately. I was hoping the food would make that long wait worth it but the food was mediocre at best and bland. The drinks were great though!

    Mulino Italian Kitchen and Bar is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of life. The atmosphere is serene, but lively. Food is terrific and authentic! Salvatore our waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. He took the time to talk with us and made our dinner quite enjoyable. Can't say enough good things about the restaurant...go and see for yourself!

    I hate to say but The food was terrible. We had been wanting to come here for ages & finally did - but was sooooo disappointed. The pizza was sent back because it had obviously been sitting out for ages before being served - but the 2nd one was just thick stodgy dough & tasteless toppings. The salad was fine … but the octopus starter was salty, chewy & just overly complicated. Italian food is so easy & simple - they didn’t need to try so hard & make the flavors so complex & ultimately inedible.

    Hostess greeted us and noted immediately that we were celebrating a birthday. I put it in the reservation. Waiter was pleasant, but never brought us bread, forgot a number of things when we asked and almost forgot to tell us about the specials. We only knew his name because we asked. Food was great, music and atmosphere also really good. Parking was meh.

    First of all drinks were great but very small for the price. The lemon dessert was light and yummy. I ordered the risotto special for my entree and regretted it! The sauce was like spaghetti is sauce. The waitress offered something else but I didn’t have time or wanted to wait or risk paying for a whole other meal. The scallops were perfect and my husband loved his chicken. I was disappointed though that no one else came out to ask or try to rectify the situation. I told them it was our anniversary up front and yet nothing was deducted from the bill or offered extra even knowing this was a special event. I paid $35 for a terrible meal and even charged for dessert. When leaving I saw other dishes that I wish I had tried so I may give it another try but it literally left a bad taste in my mouth.

    Absolutely fantastic! I love the ambiance here and the food is so so good! We were told we must have the lasagna and it did not disappoint. The specialty drinks were awesome as well. We got the Ford VS Ferrari and it was smoky deliciousness, and the Pompelmo Sunset which was a perfect light summer drink. We will be back soon!

    Excellent Italian food and wine in a very interesting space. We ate outside and enjoyed an amazing downpour without getting wet. Very cool vibe outside at Mulino. Enjoying our leftovers for lunch today!

    This place was a great vibe. Staff was nice. I got the rack of lamb with just veggies and potatoes but the potatoes were so over cooked I couldn’t chew them.

    Birthday supper for my son and his wife. We all had a good time. Service was good and wait staff friendly and helpful. The food was great but prices were a bit on the high side however, the portions were generous and fulfilling.

    Refreshing cocktail - Fibonacci, and octopus and calamari apps very good. Salmon and lamb entrees delicious. Semifreddo desserts perfect for hot weather. Service very good.

    Mulino has a great regular menu, but their specialties were extra yummy on Tuesday night. The appetizers, salad and entrees were so so good. Our server was helpful with finding a bold red wine to complement our meal and she was also very attentive during our entire dining experience. Mulino should be on your list of great restaurants....great food, service and very fun vibe!

    We came for our anniversary and were very disappointed. We had asked to sit outside and were told that could not be accommodated when we arrived for our reservation. Our waiter told us the bread was not good and he wouldn't serve it to us. My husband's cocktail was not good. When we received our entrees, we realized no one had given us silverware and had to wait 10-15 minutes for an employee to come by so we could ask for forks.

    Delicious! My friend recommended the gnocchi which is a dish I typically don't enjoy, but wow! So soft and pillowy and the truffle on top was fantastic! We also got bread to dip in the sauce. Amazing!! The staff was very friendly just slow for how few people there were at the time. Highly recommend will definitely come back!

    5 couples get-together with semi private room, we all had a great time and the setting was exceptional. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. Everyone had a variety of selections with the only downgrade to average being the bolognese. Seems many restaurants leave prepared sauces on heat too long. This results in a rich flavor but can produce a bit of burnt taste. The later was the case, but still enjoyable. Exceptional rice balls, cocktails, and deserts. But, at 6:30 in the evening they were out of the eggplant ravioli special. I wonder if this was poor planning, or what?

    The food was overcooked. Chicken, lamb, and octopus I was so disappointed as I have eaten there in the past. We did report it to the manager so he knew and he said the staff in the kitchen is fairy new and they are working in it
