Equal parts restaurant and experience, Mulberry Italian Ristorante is a wonderful option for those who want an authentically delicious meal. Explaining that it may look like the Bronx, but that it tastes like Manhattan, this cozy eatery is just south of the center of Buffalo and offers iconic Italian foods.

Visitors to Mulberry Italian Ristorante can enjoy their lunch or dinner menu items and will find that even some of the standards are far more creative than what they usually encounter. We made a reservation for 8pm. I have been here before and had a great experience, but our most recent experience was lack luster at best. Our server appeared to be annoyed that we had arrived and seemed very short with us. At approximately 8:30 we were 1 of 2 parties in the main dining rooms. They started vacuuming the dining room which was quite loud and disruptive to my family. While we began eating our main course the staff began drinking and socially very loudly with the bartender which was also quite disruptive. I had brought my family visiting from out of town because of the exceptional experience I had had prior but don’t think I would return or recommend (at least for an 8pm reservation on a Tuesday).

Renee was an excellent waiter. He recommended entrees when we were deciding between several specials, citing specific reasons I.e. if you like spicy.

The Gravy dinner was very good. Got it with mozzarella on top. Was even better the next day. Husband got chicken parm. Also delicious! Had garlic bread as an appetizer and creme brule for dessert. Both were amazing. Lemondrop martini was also a hit.

Don’t miss this gem of dining experience. Garlic ciabatta and a meatball kicked off a great meal. Can’t wait to go back.

Our service was spot on, not lacking in any way. Our gentleman waiter was great. Everyone loved their dish. Food was tasty, hot and very well prepared. Already looking forward to next visit♥️💙♥️

Enjoyed catching up with a friend while in the area for a few nights. Dinner and service were excellent and appreciate the server giving suggestions on the menu. Staff is always personable. Lasagna was delicious as was the meatball and sausage.

The food, service, ambiance all get the highest rating. This is such a classic restaurant for a reason - very consistent. This isn't the place for a long slow dinner though, the food comes out very fast. Probably a good thing for some!
