   They sitter us at 4:30 which was great. Placed order around 4:45 and food arrived at 5:45. Little disappointing since there was our table and two other tables full. We had 9 people the other two table had two people

   Sat for half hour before we asked busser to find our waitress, waited till she came “saying she was just told this was her table” although she was serving table directly behind us, drink orders taken, I saw them at the bar slot and finally flagged her down (we were right next to bar and salad table next to window)I asked her to take our orders: 2 prime ribs and soup, never asked how we wanted meat cooked and pork chop with salad bar. We asked what was vegetable, she said corn but all plates had beans..too long wait again, 1 beer ordered (no beer glass) sat at bar slot till she brought our food, meat lukewarm, no soups, she went back in kitchen and brought them out, never said anything about salad bar which we should have enjoyed prior to meat with our soups..no dessert menu offered, dinner took From 5:45 to 8, she did apologize, said only two servers, but it wasn’t busy except for party in party room. We also mentioned poor service to hostess who apologized. Sorry won’t recommend.

   Overall we were very underwhelmed. My wife ordered the shrimp scampi. Shrimp was overcooked and was served lukewarm. Her baked potato wasn’t hot enough to melt the butter. Overall very bland. I ordered the walleye special. It lacked seasoning or flavor and was served over overcooked and dry risotto.

   Not recommended. Server was inexperienced-Slow, had to go to bar to ask for plates and silverware for appetizers, reached across me to deliver food and pick up empty dishes instead of going around. Shrimp was overdone. Potatoes and vegs too peppery. Baked onion soup not flavorful. Ribeye was smaller than expected and lacked flavor. No butter for bun. We ate on patio but did not expect the number of flies. View was great.

    It was a nice Mother’s Day brunch. Nothing too fancy. I liked the prime rib and carrot cake. It was nice that each of the moms got a flower to take home.

    Disappointing at best! Absolutely no ambiance! Tables had nothing on them for Mother’s Day not even a paper place mat, nothing! No candle, no flowers! The Food was mediokre, bland-nothing special! The dessert table was pathetic! Will not ever go back!

    Food was meh. We talked up this place from our childhoods to our friends and it was a pretty disappointing double date night. Linden just isn't what we remembered. And the terrible neighboring table only added to the disappointment. Listening to a couple yell at each other while dropping F-bombs..thank good ness we didn't have the kids along. Def not worth the 45 min drive from lake country :/

    Found by chance but loved the view of the lake. Was hoping to eat on the patio but was closed. Started out with bacon wrapped shrimp. Delicious. The ribs were amazing. The jumbo shrimp scampi were perfect. The salmon was absolutely superb. Granddaughter ordered pizza which was over-sauced and bland. Pizza could be out of this world if they used 1/2 as much sauce and added a bit of spices. A little on the spendy side but we will be back.

    For a 9AM Easter Brunch Buffet, we were very disappointed. There were scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. No hash browns, no bacon, no sausage, no pancakes or waffles, no toast, no muffins. There was dinner food, but we were there at 9AM!

    Spouse and I Went for Easter Brunch 4/17/22. We usually enjoy a meal wherever we go, but here the food was bland and had little flavor, across the board - virtually no seasoning was used. (And there were no salt no steak knives were provided. I don't think the prime was cooked slowly, we've never ad flavorless prime rib before. They also skimped on variety (e.g. nothing like crackers or bagels & cream cheese to eat with the smoked salmon, no way to dress up the plain scrambled eggs with salsa or hot sauce). No omelette station was provided. For almost $30/person, we look for a bit more. We won't be back, too many other good restaurants in the area.

    More casual than it used to be. Certainly not for a romantic dinner. Food was ok. Very noisy. Drinks could have been better. Bus boy very attentive. Waitress was ok. Filet had no flavor, but the Ribeye was good.

    Service very slow considering restaurant only had few patrons. Bloody Mary had NO garnish,had to ask for and then got 2 olives. Part of vegetable medley was refrigerator cold. Mashed potatoes only warm. Ribs were good,tender. This is a restaurant we would not visit again.

    French onion soup had way too much thyme; an unusual ingredient. Tenderloins and ribs were very good. Hostesses, bartender/servers/bussers were way under trained. Never an acknowledgement of our special anniversary from anyone. We'll try it again but hope the staff improves next time.

    Nice place but slightly dated. We got seated quickly but there was open tables. Don't know if they were short staffed but it took a while for us to put our order in. Soups were included with the meals but the waitress forgot to bring them out. It took us almost 50 minutes before we received our appetizers. Because we had 10 people an automatic 20% tip was added to bill which Because of bad service was wrong. It seems like our waitress was distracted which led to her forgetting taking our order in a timely manner and to bring our food.

    We two went on a Wednesday night for the prime rib special. We started with a great wine at a window table where the view of the lake is nice (and will be great when the ice is out.) We asked the server to slow down our food delivery which she did well for us. The meal started with a tasty salad and then the main course came. The prime rib was very tasty but mine was marbled well and not overly fatty, but my sister's was mostly gristle. She had a bad cut and her meat to gristle was poor. A nice treat was the roll which appeared to be deep-fried. It was really good. All in all the cost was good but check your prime rib cut before you start eating. The mushrooms and onions surely covered all the gristle and we will look beneath them next time. The menu seems good and we will go back but will look closely before we start eating to make sure our dishes are the best they can be.

    This night was very busy, and our party was large. I didn’t notice enough wait staff to cover the full house, which has been the normal with any business recently. Our waitress had at least couple other large tables besides us. She did the best she could. When we were first seated, we had right away noticed lipstick smudged water glasses, which was brought to waitress attention. Her response was “ that’s not good “, and brought replacement glasses out, but left the dirty ones at our table. We all ordered either steak or an entree, except for 1, she ordered a ceasar salad, which came about 10 minutes after everyone else’s food! The dressing on the salad was very sour/ tangy tasting. It was taken back. The manager said nothing was wrong with it, and was not expired, with an attitude. Everyone else did like their food. In all was not a good visit. Half of my party was very upset, which didn’t help the situations. We spent 2 hours there, due to the slow service. I don’t blame our waitress at all though! She did her best. I would give this restaurant another try maybe next time with a smaller party. Times are difficult with short staff all around.

    Had reservations and were seated when we arrived. Had Sat. night prime rib special and wife had a small filet which not what she expected, kind of overcooked for requested medium well. The asparagus was woody too, could not eat it. Salad bar was good.

    It was evident that our waitress had never had never been a waitress before. I don't have a problem with that, as long as the establishment provides support for the newcomer, but that was not the case. It was obvious that she was not familiar with the menu, since she was not sure what sides went our entrees. My wife and I both ordered soup, which meant that we were not getting the salad bar. But, the waitress told us twice that we could go the salad bar, before we corrected her each time that we did not get the salad bar. Our entrees were delivered before our soup, by someone other than our waitress. We told this new person we were missing our soups. A short while later, we received the wrong soups, and told the new person that it was wrong. As we were finishing up our entrees, our original waitress came by with one corrected soup. We pointed out that we were still missing one. So one of us was still waiting for soup, but we decided that we had had enough and we would ask for the check if we ever saw our waitress again. A short while later our waitress came by with the missing soup. I realize that a lot of establishments are short staffed, but it would be better if the establishment would serve fewer customers until it can get its staff up to the proficiency that the staff can provide a reasonable level of service.

    Service was poor and I only got a butter knife to cut my steak.. Rolls were hard, vegetables were cold and potato was also cold. The salad and the drinks were the only good part of the meal which we spent $70.00 on. Wifes shrimp scampi was OK but we truly expected it to be better. The waitress we are guessing was new and not properly trained as we had to ask for the Hot Rolls and butter and then had to ask the water server for a steak knife which he told me to be careful with as the blade was loose. We use to enjoy going there but will not be back as the last 2 meals we had were very poor. View and ambience are great, but the rest is poor! What happened?

    We dined here on Thanksgiving Day, 2021. We decided to give this restaurant another try and I made a reservation for dinner and our food was delicious.     Very low number of patrons and a very minimal staff. Views of the lake were outstanding with the interior being decorated for the holidays. Service was very good although the service suffered once a few more diners came in and then the waitress/bartender/hostess needed roller skates. The food was good but not note worthy and the prices were very reasonable.

    A traditional supper club with terrific prime rib and the usual sides. Not very big on vegetables :), but the food was tasty and plentiful. We were there for the Thanksgiving buffet which was a good value.

    We went for the Thanksgiving buffet. It was quite small. Not much to choose from. What was there was pretty uneditable. The salad bar was even disappointing. It only had a couple of toppings and they were empty when I went through. Our service was terrible. The server actually rolled her eyes taking our drink order. We had 8 people ordering soda or coffee. 1/2 full cups were delivered with no cream or sugar. 2 of the sodas were forgotten. By the time we got a different server to bring cream and found out that they were out of sugar, our coffee was ice cold. There was no offer for a refill. Most of us left hungry after spending $27.95 a person plus coffee that nobody was able to drink. Our waitress didn’t want to be there and it was very obvious. We really wanted to love it! People may come with the argument that they were busy and it was Thanksgiving. It was a buffet! If you are only serving mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans casserole, turkey and prime rib with a “salad bar”, it should have been delicious. As for the service being under sub par, the server only had to bring us a drink, a refill would have been nice. They are not taking orders, bringing food to the table or getting extras, no to go boxes, ect.

    Went to Muellers Linden Inn for a date night. Reservations were easy to make online. We received email reminders, which is great. Arrived early and table was ready. There are a lot of dinner options and the prices were great. We had the special, prime rib. It was fantastic! They have a salad bar with lots of great choices. Wait staff was very attentive and water was filled often. Fantastic evening!

    They decided to close due to being short staffed(made the decision 3 days prior too) and never informed their online reservation people or changed their voicemail or anything. So numerous people showed up with a reservation yet the restaurant was closed. Handled very poorly
