Excellent spot for a group brunch!
Birthday brunch! Delicious!
This was the first time here for my wife and me. We do not live in The Cities, but we will definitely be back. Food was amazing! (We has the Butcher’s Board) Service was great! Thank you!
Food was marginal at best. Service was fine. Beer was good
Good food, decent price, decent service
Yum yum - great Bloody Mary and Eggs Benedict!! Service was great.
Limited but tasty menu. Zero ambiance and perfuntory service.
My fiancé and I went for Valentine’s Day. Earlier in the week we got a call from the manager
They put us in a tiny crowded back room where we could hear everyone else’s conversations and couldn’t even talk to each other. Then we got our pizza and it was undercooked. The room was far too crowded and there was plenty of space in the rest of the restaurant.
My initial experience was quite negative. The hostess was unfriendly and did not even pretend to be accommodating. When we asked for a different table she said the other tables were reserved. We had made reservations so didn’t understand. We were seated at a small table directly in front of the front door and although they’d hung heavy curtains over the doorway, it was cold. My husband and I kept our coats draped around us the entire dinner. The food was good and the service adequate, however we will not be returning.
Really excellent cappuccino! Salad less so. Dark meat chicken not so good.
We were seniors wanting a place to eat before an evening Jungle theater performance. The staff couldn't have been more hospitable...set us up in a booth in the back, where the noise level was no problem whatsoever, and made us feel totally welcome. And the food was great :>). I'm most appreciative.
Enjoyed Muddy Waters. Food was good and liked the atmosphere. Will go back again.
New Year’s Eve dinner Wes’s great
Need to add a few things to the brunch menu. Food was good and service was excellent.
Food was good but a bit overpriced. Server was a bit inattentive but not awful.
I love the ambience and the service was top notch. I ordered eggs Benedict and the English muffins were cold. I told the waiter and found his reaction 100% satisfactory. I’ll be back!
it was a great place to eat- the service was good and so was the food
Just drinks, pretty good, a little loud at times though
Good food experience. Excellent service.
Damien was our server.. we nicknamed him the beerwhisper.. told him what we liked and he brought us a match!! Great conversation and food was outstanding!! Billionaire bacon only served on weekends was absolutely out of this world!!
Had a great brunch experience with friends. The food was interesting and tasty, the service was friendly and very courteous. Every meal I’ve had there has been consistently worth coming back again to enjoy with friends!
It was an okay experience, not entirely sure I would run back. Got a burger and split fries with two friends. My burger was well done, but my friend got medium well and it looked completely raw on the inside, which kind of freaked us out. Moderately priced and very low lightly. Small environment which I preferred.
Try the mock duck tacos they are excellent. Also if you like chicken the dry rub BBQ wings are amazing. Cooked just right crispy and juicy like wings should be.
Great food & fun cocktails!! All fairly priced too.
Wow! That outside alleyway patio was superb! Private, charming and a nice cool breeze! We loved the food, fun cocktail choices and attentive service. We shared a few plates and both were really delicious and unique! The perfect summer meal to enjoy and linger over - before we walked down to the Uptown Art Fair. Loved it.
Good food, prompt service
We were there for a late brunch with 9 of us after a bachelorette weekend. Our server - Eeyore tattoo - was awesome and chill and made us feel special even though bachelorette parties can be a server's nightmare. A+ would recommend, order the candy bacon and a latte.
Surprise bday. Staff was excellent!
Food was great however we set a reservation for 9 and they put us as at a table for 8 people. It was quite cramped. One member of our table did not get their food until we got the bill which was disappointing. Server was nice about it.
The breakfast poutine was incredible! Good vibe and good drinks, too!
Great service. Cool vibe and casual fun hip crowd. Small focused brunch menu
Amazing food at a great value. Went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and had a blast. With a group, if you are having difficulty deciding on an entree, give the harvest board a try. You will not regret it! It was enough for everyone at the table and we were able to share multiple desserts amongst us. Everything we tried was outstanding.
First time visit and enjoyed it greatly. Saturday brunch menu is incredible. Awesome collection of food choice made basically like a scratch kitchen. Great flavors and unique flavors. Waiter/Manager Damion was outstanding. Offered pairings of beers and made the whole experience a highlight of the weekend. Recommend this to anyone looking for a place that is not the normal and open to let your tastes go. Beverage selection wonderful especially if you like the craft beer thing. Will visit again!!
Good food and fun ambience
A friend and I had lunch at Muddy Waters. We try to find unique eateries in Uptown, and this is certainly one of them. The chef seemed to determine menu items with great care, a couple of which are the pineapple waffle and the omelette of the day. I was impressed by the delectable bakery choices; and our waiter couldn't have been more helpful, personable, and welcoming. Great place to return to.
I love this place so much. The food is great, but the ambiance is even better. Brunch is SPECTACULAR - if you are ready for an entire day's worth of food, you have to try the breakfast poutine. The biscuits are the only thing I've had that is just okay - every other brunch food I've tried is delicious. Yay Muddy Waters!
Had a great time, trying out Muddy Waters for the first time. It was my birthday and the place was very accommodating with my online reservation. I had specifically looked online at the Lunch/Dinner menu but it was during Brunch; which was a pleasant surprise, and it was very delicious. Our server was a lot of fun, he was very interactive with the table and had a good sense of humor. Will definitely be back to try more food and unique ciders!
Unexpectively laid back. We dined on a weekend night and it was a perfect place for discussion.
Very good food, great beer 🍺 selection, excellent service...
