M'tucci's Italian - Albuquerque
This review is written solely at your request.
In our opinion, M'tucci's Italian is a very average suburban restaurant on trip mall parking lot.
Our food, their service and ambiance were acceptable, but unremarkable.
Great service, exceptional food in a family or romantic atmosphere. Bar staff are amazing and the happy hour specials are excellent! A place to meet for any occasion!
I was truly disappointed in my most recent visit to M’tucci’s. We made reservations for Mother’s Day, they were not busy, but the service was slow. It took 30 minutes for our bread order to come out. Out of the 6 of us, only one person enjoyed their dish. Three ordered their favorite dish, but recipes for each dish must have changed because it was nothing like they previously enjoyed. I do not see myself returning to M’tucci’s.
We’ve been here many times, but this was our first brunch visit. Delicious as always with some fresh new menu items. Stellar service and cocktails as well.
The food was all very delicious-I especially enjoyed the pineapple shrub cocktail and the limoncello cannoli I had for dessert. Our waitress was very friendly. Overall, my family and I had a pleasant time here celebrating my brother's graduation and would highly recommend this restaurant to others visiting Albuquerque.
Celebrated our son’s birthday and the food and service was fabulous. Great place!
First time at the restaurant. Good experience. I will return again.
My family enjoyed our meals, the service was excellent. Sean was our server and he was very courteous, professional, and personable.
Wonderful food! Great server and ambience!
Great brunch and good service. Thank you.
This place never fails to come through! Service is above par, ambiance is fabulous, and the menu is always amazing.
Food and cocktails were very good. Our server was knowledgeable and professional, but she was absent for long periods and our food/drinks took a while to appear.
Ezcellent service with amazing food. What a treat!
The food at M'Tucci's Italian is fantastic! It is my favorite restaurant.
M’tucci’s is an outstanding Italian restaurant. The Verde shrimp feeling pasta was delicious and cooked just right. My wife enjoyed her eggplant parmigiana with Alfredo linguine.
We came to one of our favorite spots to celebrate an old friend moving back to Albuquerque. I keep up with the loyalty app since I do so much shopping at M’Tucci’s deli next door. That meant a well earned half price bottle of wine after an afternoon of unpacking moving boxes.
Thank goodness it was warm enough to sit outside. The noise was so bad that we could not hear each other talk across a small table. Our women’s group meets there every couple of weeks for happy hour. Recently the outside table has been taken and we shouted at each other, or just had a normal conversation with the one person sitting next to us. We are trying one more time this month, and then seeking out another location. Sitting outside that night was really pleasant and since we were the only table it kind of felt like a private room.
The wait staff is terrific and the food is mostly wonderful. My braised crispy chicken was delicious with a meltingly tender texture under impossibly crispy skin. How do they do that? The entree came with some bland pasta and no veggies. I poured the dipping oil from the delicious bread plate over my fettuccine and that helped. I should have ordered a salad but I still went home with leftovers
This restaurant and the M'Tucci's on Unser are my favorite Italian Restaurant's in the area. I have never been disappointed by the food and service.
Waited twenty minutes at the table and not one employee came close to the table. Have to wait a long time before trying this place again. No water, no drinks, nada.
This was our first visit—I’d looked at the menu several times and finally we ventured across the river to try it. I’m so glad we did! The food was excellent, as was the service. We decided to try something basic the first time, Bolognese for my husband and the spaghetti and meatballs for me. Both were delicious. The wine list is very good and we were happy to find a favorite Sangiovese on the list. We will definitely return.
Very nice lunch. Good food and a lovely waitress.
Mtucci is a favorite of mine, but my last experience was not as good. Wednesday night special was the main reason for coming, and at 6:30 they were out. Then due to busyness, a usually great waiter was less seen at our table than was comfortable. Food took too long to come. Food was great as always.
Delicious food and service was superb. It was very enjoyable place to be.
Dined numerous times at M’tucci. This time we were seated in a noiser area than normal. Area between bar and servers station. A bit distracting and my husband’s chair was bumped many times by passerbys. I felt my dinner was over salted. Actually, first time I was disappointed in food. Other guests were pleased with their dinner.
One of our very favorite places for great food and drinks. Staff is very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
We have tried many menu items and everything they make is delicious!
Always recommend, have never had bad service at either location. Staff is friendly and goes out if their way to make you satisfied with your experience.
The service & food were outstanding! So happy to find this excellent restaurant.
Great food as always. Perhaps best wait staff in town. You can’t go wrong for a great informal night out.
Great food and service.
Food is always fantastic. Servers are informed and very effective and pleasant. One of my favorite places to eat.
Birthday lunch for my husband and it was a very beautiful time. The food was amazing and the staff went out of their way to make my husband feel special.
Our group of eight was seated exactly where we requested (on a Saturday night). The service was excellent and the food was great. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It was an pleasant evening with wonderful food and drinks. Great place for friends to gather.
Waiter went out of his way to make our birthday celebration wonderful!
The food and drinks at this location are always exceptional. The servera are always attentive and professional. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Always delicious! Always fresh! Always a favorite!
Our party of three were seated promptly for our 6:00 reservation- at table requested. Busy and loud Saturday night! We started with a charcuterie board- chorizo and Spanish cheese were good. We the moved on with two of the nightly specials- pan sautéed some. Missed the mark on this one as it had way too much breading and was over cooked, the fish was rendered tasteless. The creamy polenta however was delicious. Pork cheek(another special) were delivered as advertised and very moist and tasty. Bolognese pasta was good.
Tempranillo wine was a solid accompaniment. Our server, Shawn, was efficient and provided fine service. My parents enjoyed the evening do we will likely return.
Best waiter ever is Shawn! My favorite restaurant in town!!
This was our second visit as we are from Florida. The second time was as good as the first! Food was excellent. Service was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Whenever we are in Albuquerque will will dine there! Thanks
This was the fifth or sixth time I have been to M'Tuccis. Every time I have visited, I have been extremely satisfied with my experience. This time was no different. Our server was ON POINT and refilled my diet coke at least 5 times without missing a beat. She was genuine and provided a warm service that flowed perfectly with our night. The wife and I ordered the Fried Brie for an appetizer (one of our favorites) and it was excellent. Crispy on the outside and perfectly spreadable on the toast points that accompanied the dish. We split half of a salad with golden beets (name of the salad is escaping me) which was amazing and more than enough for the two of us. Then we had our meals. The wife had a vegetarian pasta with spicy tomato (again, not sure of the name) and I had two appetizers (calamari and meatballs al forno). We were both pleased with the quality and portions provided. Finally, for dessert, we had the Twinki and the Tiramisu. Both were delicious (as always) and the perfect way to round out our meal. The best part of our night was when the manager came and discussed our experience with us. Chris seemed to genuinely care about the quality of our evening and while not obtrusive in our experience, he didn't seem to want to rush away either. Overall, it was wonderful. If you haven't been to M'Tuccis yet, I'd highly recommend it!
