Located opposite the Landmark buildings on Kirschner Road, MTL is a classic scratch diner and a love letter to Montreal from Chef & Owner Mathew Morazain. We serve up breakfasts, lunches, take-outs, weekly table d'hote & a monthly Supper Club – inspired by Quebecois classics but with Mathew’s inimitable twists using Okanagan fare.

Sit inside or outside on our patio with barista coffee, wine and craft beer on tap. Or just grab-n-go from our MTL Express counter – same great food but ready to go. Or come and support awesome local musicians and bands at our bi-weekly 'Live At MTL' concerts.

From the fresh-cut fries to the broths & gravies, things here are made from scratch – hence the moniker ‘montREALfood’.

Our party of three ate lunch here on June 20th, 2019. We found parking without any difficulty. Upon entering the restaurant there was an air of relaxation, openness and light and delectable aromas wafted our way. We were pleasantly greeted and told to go to the till to order our meals once we had decided what to have. We all ordered something different (tourtiere patty melt, house smoked turkey 'Philly style", and pulled pork sandwich) and all were delighted with the excellent quality of our meals and the reasonable value. Portions were generous and filling. The shared poutine were delicious. Two of us enjoyed wine with our meals and the latte was good. We didn't have room for dessert so took away a piece of sugar tart for later consumption - also yummy. Service was great. Washrooms were clean and fully automated even down to the bin for the paper towels! We were very happy customers and will definitely be eating here again. :-)

A group of ladies from my hiking group came for lunch. A number of us had the turkey soup and it was fabulous. The service is always so great here. We will be back.

Good menu offerings and the food was well cooked. I appreciate the meat entrees and the atmosphere. The presentation could be improved over the plastic basket, though.
