My first visit was on a Friday evening, for a birthday dinner. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to have my birthday celebration here. This time, I celebrated my birthday with girlfriends during Saturday brunch, and it felt like we were at an awesome day party with great food and entertainment, and equally good service. We will be back!
Venue.. good! Nice crowd, waitress was cool and professional. BUT! Food was horrible... omg. I ordered the chicken and waffles, the wings were very Very very dark so you know it was cooked in dirty grease. The fact that they allowed that to pass through different hands before it made it to the table was not cool. My boi ordered the lamb. For 30$, it was only 2 little lamb pops, the potatoes where undercooked it came with eggs and the eggs (scrambled with cheese) literally cheese was thrown on the top and not melted.. i cannot stand when restaurants do that. Maybe it was a bad day.. but thats not good. Be an establishment that people will want to go for food and drinks, not just drinks and the crowd. Get this... my boi told the waitress the potatoes were bad and he wanted to switch the potatoes for grits. Yoooo!!!! The grits came and they were lumpy ..smdh. We are the most cool and calm people. We don't complain , we give passes for things. But we couldn't this day... it was bad! I hope they read this and get it together...
Great place, service could be a tad better
It’s lively, it’s fun, great food and great music.
A great vibe! Anytime I’m in ATL this place will be a definite destination.
Great food ! Always tasty! I love the service and food.
Music is great just way too loud. Can not talk cause music too loud. Go for the food!!!!!
Everything from the moment we walked in was amazing! The service, food, and ambiance was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back!
Would like to see more variety in your sea food options.
Lunch menu was a bit pricey.
Atmosphere was great.
Server was friendly
Like the entertainment: Music and flat screen t
Birthday celebration.
Ms. Icey's Kitchen hasn't failed me yet!! Great spot with even greater vibes and food. Hands down the best Sunday Brunch spot in Atlanta!
Ms. Icey’s Kitchen will not disappoint with their food, service or ambiance!!! The food we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS, along with the DJ playing all the latest music with a mix of Old Atlanta and the Dirty South! I’ll definitely be back to try more amazingly looking dishes.
Great server friendly staff.. alison was the best. Great bison alumnae. Sit at the bar with her!!!!
Excellent food but Fridays music and live band is very loud. Still a great place to visit. Will be back
I had a friend in from NYC and tried this restaurant Thursday. We had a party of seven and we loved the vibe of this spot. Now the food was a whole different story. My husband’s ribeye steak came out cold so he sent it back. My friend said she enjoyed her trout. My other friends lamb chops came out burnt so she had to send it back. Maybe it was just an off night but I don’t know if we will return.
I'm actually quite disappointed. I've come to Ms. Icey's for brunch so many times this year and everything was amazing. I come for dinner on a Saturday night and I'm like is this the same place. Everything took so long and it's not as near busy or crowded as a Sunday morning brunch so I was a but confused. Maybe I'll just stick to Sundays but I won't bring anyone else on a Saturday night.
Fantastic food and great wait staff
Me and my husband had a great experience at this restaurant. I liked that it was a trap restaurant and the music captured the essence of Atlanta music. Very nostalgic. The food was excellent and the drinks were strong. Great customer service. Food came out at a reasonable time. I would recommend this restaurant and will be back to visit in the future.
I attended with some friends, enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
From the time we were greeted by the host until we left, service was great! The food was delicious and the cocktails were even better. All the employees appeared to be happy and having a good time while working. Ms. Icey’s is now on repeat for me. I went on a Saturday at 11am for brunch. My food pick-the oxtails. Reservations are not required. We left around 1ish and it was busy but not to where you couldn’t get a table or sit at the bar.
Chicken under cooked
Great Place! Great atmosphere! The food was delicious. One of the best places in Atl hands down.
If you’re looking for a lively brunch with music, mimosas and a Cajun flare then this is the spot. The food is VERY tasty, however the kitchen gets backed up and it’s almost impossible to dine here without a reservation. Make sure you’re not in a rush if you plan on dining here.
I've been to Ms. Icey's on 2 occasions , both were on a Sunday right when they open up at 11am. The staff were friendly and attentive. The vibe of the place was really cool with great music in the back ground. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good, it is not the 1st place I would recommend for brunch, but because I loves the vibe and mood so much it's a great place for mimosa, small plates, and good times with family and friends.
THE BEST BISCUITS TO EVER GREET AND BLESS MY TONGUE! My Lord it was delicious. There was a birthday party so the brunch was extra loud with that rowdy table, but honestly they felt like entertainment. The DJ was on point with hit after hit, I was singing, humming or dancing in my seat with every single tune played. Can't wait to return!
EXCELLENT!
I’ve been here three times and each time the food is phenomenal. The lamb is top-tier. Expect to wait about 15 minutes longer than typical food wait time. Also, if you are going for dinner or brunch, be sure to make a reservation.
Great atmosphere and New York vibe! I will be back with my friends again really soon. The thing we did not like was the one ticket per table with the use of up to 4 cards. That was a huge inconvenience and much easier on the customers to do separate tabs if need be. Our waitress was a bit dry and not inviting but we won’t let that one experience stop us from revisiting the establishment. We loved the DJ and all the music played!!! Oh last but not least the ladies bathroom with “Method Man” “All I need” on the walls it was a straight concert with my chicas!!! Lol
Portions are huge. Jazz band was a bit loud for having family conversation but the music was nice.
Great service, music, and food. Nice girls night out!
Amazing experience. Great food. Great music. Excellent service. Also a few celebrity sightings 😍
This place is great! Took my fiance for date night on Saturday 10/19/19. The ambiance was beautiful, DJ playing great tunes, service on point, and the food and drinks were THE BOMB. The Jerk Lamb Rib and The Nutcracker 💯💯💯💯💯. My fiance had the Strip Club wings and Collards and being a picky eater he loved them. The Cornbread is good too! Overall I would definitely recommend Ms. Icey's. Im ready to go now for brunch!
I had previously been here before and the oxtail & wings were phenomenal! The traffic after lunch during the week is light so service was excellent. The music was laid back and relaxing. The second time I brought my family this past weekend and It was like a loud day party. Great if you would like to party but not great if your trying to talk and catch up with your family. The service this time was way off but I still will give it another chance in the future. I would recommend but be aware.
A must dine in spot to experience!!!
I loved the pancakes I ordered and the Turkey sausage. The Turkey sausage tasted home made. The dj played all the 80s and 90s music and the service was great.
Great experience and our waitress Taneisha was energetic and great.
Went on a Friday; the band was really good and nice adult atmosphere and diverse crowd. Only had wings in which they were well seasoned and the drink was good; however, it was very pulpy.
Went back to try brunch, it was ok because the grits were lumpy and prefer crispier bacon. The ambiance was still good; will recommend others and will return
The place looks great but having a reservation did nothing. We came in and were sat a mini table that could barley fit the two of us. We asked to be placed in a booth and was told there would be a 45 min for that, although two were clearly open and I told them we had made a reservation. We were then just relocated to a larger table. The food and drinks were okay, but overall not worth what we spent that night in the establishment!
I was pleased with food (chicken and waffles) and service. Celebrated birthday lunch with daughter and family friend from out of town. I would recommend to others.
Outstanding!
Chicken was extremely over cooked but the food waffles were good
