MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual is defined by what we aren’t, as opposed to what we are. We aren’t like other steakhouses. No dark lighting, starched tablecloths, pretentious servers or overpriced steaks. From our signature steaks to our famous Mikeburger®, we have something for every taste and budget. Enjoy Happiest Hours pricing daily from 2pm to 5pm and 9pm to close, and lunch and dinner service everyday. One steak dish was tasty. Second steak dish was tough. Salmon was just okay. The rice was cold, clumpy, and had an outer crust as if it had been cooked and sitting for a long period of time before being served.

Dear Guest! we are disappointed that you did not leave impressed with one steak and salmon and it was not served to you as per our high standards. We understand that you had brought up the rice concerns to our team's attention but did not want a replacement. We would have gladly cooked all new dishes for your tough steak and Salmon if you would have just mentioned it to us. We understand that many guests feel uncomfortable about it. However, we can assure you that there is no chef in the world that can take a look at steak and decide if it is going to be tough or chewy. We were seated promptly. Our server, Hunter, did an excellent job on a very busy Father’s Day. Both owners stopped by our table to see all our needs were met. The food was beautifully presented, and very yummy!!! The bill was reasonable for the amount we ordered. Thank you!!

We have never had anything but a great experience at this location. Super friendly staff. Manager is awesome. Favorite place in Olds.

We made last minute reservations here for mothers day and were not disappointed. My mother in law and I had the had the eggs benny which was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were good as well. My husband got their mothers day special which was a 3 course meal with salad, steak, lobster and a dessert. All was superb. My first time having a waldorf salad (they were huge servings btw) and I was thoroughly impressed. Would come back here again.

We had a very good experience on New Years Eve! Our waitress was very efficient and friendly. Our food was exceptional! The noise level was high but to be expected as it was very busy. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

My son had fish and chips. Fish no flavour. I had New York strip it was tough. Lobster tail cold. Very pricy for quality of food. The only good thing was service.

Hi Wendy, Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We are sorry that we disappointed you with your meal on your steak night with your son. Certainly not what we would have ever wanted to deliver to any of our guests. We assure you that we use all fresh, never frozen, AAA steaks only that are aged 28 and a half days minimum, and the fish is freshly battered in-house and made per order. So, we can assure you that we keep only quality ingredients to serve our guests. However, your experience tells us that we fell short of our standards. If you would not mind writing to us with your contact details at olds@mrmikes.ca, one of our owners would like to speak with you and make it right for you and your son :)
