MEXICAN SEAFOOD DIVE & FISHERIES
A family affair. Established in the early 80’s by Pedro Gandara, his goal to provide affordable MOBILE marine mechanic service to the recreational, professional boating community and serve fresh catch fish and shrimp was realized. With the vision of his sons, entrepreneur Engel Pacheco, Emmy winner and urban artist Marlon, master sandwich maker Johnny and wife Lupita, Gandara Marine opened a Seafood Dive (Mr.G) Mexican Seafood on the River. Pedro, also a shrimping fisherman and boat owner expanded his fleet to six boats, Lupita 1-6, as the demand for his freshly caught shrimp and fish increased. Today, Gandara Marine sits next to famous institutions like Casablanca Fish market, Garcias seafood, world famous Seaspice, Crust, and KIKI’s.

I loved this restaurant, we tried it out for the first time and it was great. We sat right by the river with boats passing by so it was a great view and good ambiance. The food was AMAZING and affordable for what we had. It took about an hour to get the food but it was worth the wait! The owner of the restaurant was very nice and we met the cook (his mother) and they made us feel at home. FYI don't let the exterior fool you. Definitely coming back! Great experience.
