    It was good. I had an espresso martini made w Scot h that was a REVELATION!! Rich and multi-layered. Yum, yum, yum! Don't get the heirloom artichoke. It's uninspired: just boiled/steamed and served with a massive amount of dipping sauce. The artichoke needs to be seasoned, or better yet, just grilled w olive oil, sea salt, and a squeeze of lemon. The fish and chips was excellent. I'd order the halibut again bc it was nicely cooked (halibut is easy to mess up and it was perfectly prepared). Can't say enough about the friendly and outstanding service. Our waitress was FANTASTIC.

    Love the location, Service was average, food was terrible at least the special (nacho breakfast )that I ordered. Would love to give it another try just to try their regular menu as I love the menu.

    Mr. Digby's is a lovely place to enjoy a casual, leisure Sunday brunch. The menu has plenty of options, from "lean and healthy" to richly indulgent. Service is attentive and friendly. When the weather is good, request an outside table. We did and were very pleased.

    One of the best neighborhood comfort food restaurants. Prices are more than reasonable and the selection of items far exceeds what restaurants in this category offer. Service is just fine and food quality exceeds the price charged. This is one well run restaurant with a well developed menu.

    Mr. Digby's is a very good, Noe Valley neighborhood eatery. The moderately-sized menu is reasonably priced. Good burger, fish-and-chips, meatloaf, chicken pot pie. great rye Manhattan the night we were there.

    Our only complaint was that my friend ordered a veggie burger and they didn't come back until 20 minutes later to tell us they were out of those. By then, we expected to be served our entree. We had finished the appetizer and had our wine.

    Pros - centrally located; easy street parking for weekend brunch/lunch; pleasant outdoor tables, drinks are good. Cons - food is very uneven. For this visit, the deviled eggs were very good but pricey ($8 for one egg). My veggie burger was tasteless and the accompanying salad was drenched with vinegar. The special nachos were a bit gloppy. But the salmon "pizza" was unexpectedly fabulous - thin crust with thin slices of salmon and cucumber. So, it was a very mixed bag.

    The Supper Club nights are great. Lots of food and delicious. This is one night/month. The staff are friendly, and the place is a nice, neighborhood restaurant for all- young and old, single, couples, families. Everyone feels comfortable here.

    Food was over priced and not very good. Zucchini cakes were small and greasy for 12 dollars. Pot pie was dry and had a strange after taste. Waiter got my drink order wrong and when I finally got it there was no alcohol in it. I live in the neighborhood and was hoping this was going to be a place to go. But after trying twice, I will not be back.

    Food and service are great. But the restaurant is tightly packed, acoustics are horrendous, and many families with dogs and misbehaved children are running around. Come for the food on a quiet evening…. Otherwise you won’t be able to hear yourself think let alone hear your dinner date from across the table… so I suggest trying another restaurant.

    We had dinner here last night for Father's Day, we had the chicken pie which was delicious and the chicken, the chicken was cooked perfectly and it was a really good-sized portion. The cocktails were delicious. I recommend the tequila sunset. To top it off our server Aishling was delightful! She was happy, attentive, gave us great recommendations and was on top of everything! We cant wait to go back!

    We had a great brunch on their dog-friendly patio. The chicken and waffles were amazing— the herbed butter was incredible and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. The biscuits and gravy were also delicious— a modern take on a traditional recipe. The wait staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall a very happy experience. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in SF.

    We enjoyed our cocktails. The burger and meatloaf were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Zucchini pancake and other appetizers were very tasty. The server was excellent—friendly, attentive, very kind and accommodating to kids.

    Enjoyed the food and atmosphere despite an inept waiter. He got the wine order wrong, and described an entree incorrectly when asked for a description. When he overlooked the empty water bottle and glasses and turned his back to our table, we tapped his elbow for attention. He responded with “did you tap me just now? Don’t ever do that again please” before saying that providing more water was the job of a busboy. After that he must have asked a bartender to manage us as we never saw him again.

    This was a bad experience for us. First, this place is known for their drinks which are pretty mediocre. I had a very salty martini. My husband wanted to go to this place because they had meat loaf. So, he ordered meat loaf. Ten minutes after ordering, someone came over and said they were out of it (at 7:20 PM). That would have been disappointing. But, the guy next to us who came in 15 minutes later than us and got meat loaf. What? Then, came my main course which was Tombo Tuna, which was cooked to the point of total disgusting dryness. YUCK.

    The Supper Clubs are an extraordinary dining experience. Fun, inventive, and delicious. This is third time we’ve been to one and won’t be missing any in the future. Mr. Digby’s is a neighborhood gem, but the Supper Clubs take it to a new level of wonderful.

    Loved the happy hour with wonderful heated outdoor seating. The little snacks (deviled eggs, potato-leek croquettes) were fabulous. We also tried the flatbread and will definitely come back for that.

    Drinks were great, appetizers (pinento cheese & deviled eggs) were just ok. Entrees (chicken pot pie, meatloaf, and farro with veggies) all really disappointing. Doubt we’ll be back. Service was pretty good. Too bad the food was not at the same level.

    Fish and chips were extremely greasy to the point I felt physically sick all night. The onion soup needed more flavor. My partner had the pot pie which he liked. My father had a few appetizers. The artichoke was terrible. The atmosphere is cute enough to warrant a return trip for possibly drinks only. It’s too bad as we were looking forward to having a local spot to enjoy dinners at.

    Started off with fries and deviled eggs. The fries were just the right crispiness, the deviled were a little bland. One party had meatloaf and said it was wonderful. The other party had chicken which was nice and juicy, carrots & stringbeans (love them) and crispy smashed Yukons - not as crispy as I would have liked. Desert was walnut cake which was very tasty. The focaccia was very good as well.

    We were 15 minutes late for our reservation and they were so kind. Both servers checked in on us. Friendly staff and great food!
